I checked the P&G site and saw that my rebate for the pink bake set had been processed and sent out. The next day there was a large package at my front door but when I opened it I got that customized chair and fleece blanket from P&G instead. This is naturally confusing because I had already received this a few months earlier so I think they sent it out again instead of the bake set. Did this happen to anyone else?

I have some of the cover girl and olay forms for trade. Would love NBPR forms good in NJ or whatever great stuff you have. I didn't realize these were expiring so soon!

Last week P&G said I didn't buy the toothbrush in the valid dates. I had to walk them through it. See my receipt? See the date circled? It's Oct 14, the start of the rebate. Do you see that in the terms? They then sent it higher up and someone is suppose to call me tomorrow and try to make another excuse to get out of paying me. It takes a whole week for them to come up with an excuse? I wonder how many other people who mailed this in ASAP will get rejected.

I've done 5 Oral-B rebates over the years, and I had to fight for each one of them. Ridicules.

At least my $27 MSI rebate is suppose to come next week, only 2 weeks after mailing it in!

I purchased CG Lip Perfection in #315 Precious. I donated it but thought I wrote down the UPC. However, it looks like it is missing a few numbers. I have 00853211. Can anyone confirm this or add missing numbers? Thanks.

I have $22.94 in Herbal Essence, CoverGirl receipts. Won't make it to $50 but will trade for MCR, Huggies codes.

There is also a $15 rebate on Oral B electronic tooth brush purchased at Amazon that does not have the $50 purchase requirement.

My Spend $50, get $15 just got rejected because I did not spend enough. In their eyes I guess $50.96 is not $50 and up. Soo frustrating.

states 12/31/12 is the end date but what i dont get is do i have to mail out the rebate before or on 12/31/12?

i mean it says buy the stuff from Oct 14- to - Dec 31
but do i send out the receipt and will i get the rebate?

Check the form for the postmark date--that's when it has to be mailed by. I am pretty sure that it is the first or second week of January...that is what it usually is.

and then i have 1 month to send out the rebate postmarked by 1/30/13

ooh *sigh* finally i can relax and all my receipt, my sisters, my uncle, and a friends are all mixed

i combined all of our to make each reach $50 so we all can get our share of rewards

I haven't done the oral care Celebrate the Season rebate yet, but I think I will. There are some great P&G oral care deals at CVS this week!

Rec'd my "Spend $50, get $15 rebate" rejection today. They sent back to receipt copies marked "Resubmission", but included a blank rebate form.......................... I broke down and tossed the box for the set of Pantene Shampoo/Conditioner that I bought, so will have to go to the store and write down the UPC.
Total was $50.49 before coupons. The form was the "before coupons" form, and that is the form that they sent a blank copy of to re-submit.

Just when I thought it was safe, NOT to copy the rebate submission.......

Did you send more receipts with your re-submission? I have a couple that I could send, but it's irritating to say the least, and who knows if that will be enough?

I called and basically said nicely to do the math--my total was over $50, still waiting to see if it will go through this time. FYI--You can find most UPC #s on Amazon or Walmart.com.

I received a rejection letter from P&G holiday rebate offer stating:

Your submission did not include an original dated receipt which is required for this offer.

I did submit the original dated receipts, which they have ironically sent me a copy of, along with a blank rebate form for re-submission.
I tried calling the customer service number on the rebate form, but they do not answer.

Try this # 1-877-827-4764. They made mistake all the time.
Email them your copy that will help.

I got the same letter today. Planning to call that number, thanks for sharing it. Did your phone call fix the problem or did you have to resubmit?

Just call, tell them your problem abnd it gets put through to special handling dept. without you having to resubmit. I had to do this for their last 2 rebates. Just got my $15 card the other day.

I called on Jan 11th with the same letter/problem. They promised a response within 7-10 days. Called Wed., because I hadn't heard back from them. Per the CSR, the resubmission was approved on Jan. 17th, and I'll receive the rebate in 4-6 more weeks.
I mailed in the rebate form that stated "before coupons". This is the 1st time that I've had an issue since the infamous Olay bonus bottle UPC problem a few years back.

i just got my $15 card today.

i had a problem with my rebate. the problem was p&g never received my mail because my info was not showing up in the rebate status page. i called them and the rep told me to email him the copy. the called was 2 weeks ago.

i got my 15 too, ordered two toothbrushes from drugstore.com and got the rebate this week.

I am cross-posting this so please don't be mad--Just called P&G about the number of receipts for the rebate. Great news--due to customer concerns, it has been officially changed as of today to multiple receipts. woot

all they want is the 12 digit upc # written on the reciept, you can always call their 1-800 # and that is what they will tell you.

It looks like you have to send the actual UPC cut from the package if it is possible, but just the written one if it is on a plastic bottle like shampoo, etc.
However I called for a friend who threw away the toothpaste box and was told it was OK to just send the numbers. They wanted her name to put on the account so I told her to call herself to do that.
For those of us who either resell or give away a lot, I think that would be a way to get out of cutting off the UPC's. Maybe if enough people call about this the record keeping will make it better to just not require it to start.

I called twice on a same day and spoke with 2 different persons. The first one told me you only need to
write down the UPC, the second one told me that you HAVE to have clear images (pictures or scanned images) of the UPC from bottles.???????

Did anybody have an issue with postmark on the 2012 holiday rebate? I know I sent it on the second to last day and had them postmark at the PO, but they claim my rebate was "late" and of course didn't include the envelope on the way back to me.

Call them and insist it was correct. lately they are horrible with rebates--try not to have to pay. Told me once I did not send it receipts yet sent me copies back and another timer told me I di not buy $50 when I did $55.

Yeah, every time I've done the rebate I've had this issue. Sitting them out in the future.

Is everyone just writing down UPCs for shampoos and not taking pictures of the UPCs?

This was one of the harder rebates so far. Mailed in the rebate on the 19th, called a week later to make sure they got there. Of course rep said they never received them. Called again 2 days later. Never received them.

Eventually got fed up and ended up faxing the rebate in. A day later, received a nice email from P&G confirming they received the fax, rebate was valid and will be issuing the rebate this week. Not bad, but a pain.

Ended up sending them scanned copies of the UPCs of all products purchased, a tally of amounts of goods purchased so they couldn't say I didn't purchase $50 worth along with a printed out name, address, email and phone so they couldn't claim they couldn't read it.

Thanks for posting your results. I plan on finishing this rebate tomorrow at Rite Aid (Pantene) and I really didn't want to have to send in a bunch of photographs of shampoo.
