Google Nexus 7 16GB $199.99 plus tax with free shipping @ Gamestop.com

Gamestop has the Google Nexus 7 16GB for $199.99 with free shipping using code "SAVER" on their website.

I'm sure other sites are going to follow suit in not too much longer. I got charged tax as there are gamestops in my state. There is also 2.5% back I believe using fatcash.

Google Nexus 7 16GB $199.99, the deal is so cheap. I need it, thanks OP!

SuperSonic128 10-28-2012 07:27 PM

I wonder if they will have the 32 GB in stock. I'm not sure 16GB will be enough for me, but I would like to use some of my GS credit. Anyone with a Nexus 7 feel limited by the 16 GB?

hustla 10-28-2012 07:51 PM

Yes not enough 16gb. I only have like 2gb left

Same price with Fire HD both 16GB and 32GB. I have like 4000 songs Amazon mp3. So I have to buy Fire.

What? Why do you have to buy the fire? I have the Amazon MP3 app on my Asus Transformer and I can play all the songs just fine. Please explain why you think you have to buy the fire?

how prime membership advantages. i can borrow books and watch free prime movies. google has a faster processor, but not much else in value. why else would they drop the price?

to each their own i suppose

xtrabad 10-28-2012 11:22 PM

$200 for Nexus 7 or $320 for ipad mini? kindle HD is a joke. Don't even go there.

jmoy 10-29-2012 01:15 AM

will 16gb be discontinued soon?

no longer in stock at gamestop?

No, I but you could always buy a $2 dongle and a $3 app and hook up a usb thumb drive if you needed more space.

Mundosold 10-29-2012 08:38 AM

how is MSRP a deal?

markemery 10-29-2012 09:23 AM

It's not, but you can get them for $174 at Staples.com using the widely available $25 off coupons.

Can you tell me how to get one of these widely available coupons?

markemery 10-29-2012 12:33 PM

I get them emailed to me every month, as do other Staples customers I'm sure. Just got another in the mail today for $35 off, and grabbed another Nexus 7 16GB for $164 shipped.

It's not, it's just not even remotely close to being better than the Nexus. The Kindle fire HD is a full media device. That's what it's primarily used for, if you're using it for that sole reason(which I assume because of the music) then yes it's perfect for you, but a lot of people use their tablets for other things other than media. That's where the Nexus truly shines.

As an overall device the Kindle is a joke to the Nexus, even the ipad mini, but as just a media device imo it blows the competition away.
