I bought this from Groupon when they had a similar deal. Honestly from the reviews I was expecting a better sound, it's good on mid and highs but it is definitely lacking in bass compared to the Jambox. Although the Jambox is quite a bit pricier.

Anybody know if this thing can play while plugged in / charging? It seems like it might be nice to use on a night stand or the like and just leave it plugged in all the time.

I can't be specific to this device, but if it helps I have two different BT speakers and both can play and charge at the same time. It would be weird if this one was different, but can't guarantee.

My personal opinion on dailysteals.com is that their shipping is slow as shit and it's asinine that you actually "pay" 5 dollars for their "shipping". That said.....if you are in no rush...then they are great. And I have received every single item I have ordered from them. That being said, I am only speaking for myself and a few family members i have referred to buy from their site. So as always YMMV.

TLDR; Shipping takes forever but items for me have always arrived and in advertised condition.

Can anyone comment on the battery life? Some are saying as little as 1 hour on BT.

I bought 3! Will make easy holiday gifts. I've been wanting a bluetooth speaker but didn't want to throw down over $100 at the moment. It's gonna be good for washing car outside, bring it in backyard, in the park, beach, etc!

just picked up this a couple of weeks ago from ebay. it arrived yesterday, and it is pretty impressive. connects via bluetooth seamlessly and the build quality is pretty sturdy. the sound is loud for this little device. max volume does sound a bit distorted, but all in all, a great purchase! highly recommend, especially at this price. i picked up another!

How is the range when playing from different rooms? i.e. with 1 or 2 walls in between?

One of the Amazon (or was it newegg) reviews said it won't pair while charging -- you have disconnect charger, then pair. Then it will play AND charge. I have no personal info on the matter -- just remember reading this last night. Hope that helps!

I will never again order something from Daily Thieves! They are the most dishonest merchant I've ever done business with.

I ordered several copies of a brand new Wii game from them several months back. The product page said they were new and it showed a picture of the jewel case and everything. When the games came, they were each in a white CD envelope -- not brand new in the box at all. I emailed DailyCriminals several times. They refused to respond. You can't call as their phone number leads to a recording saying to email them. I finally emailed them and said I was sending the games back and needed to be credited. I told them that if they simply credited me, I would not disparage them online every time I come across a deal linking to their site. If they did not, I would file a dispute with my credit card company. I printed a copy of the email and put it into the package with the games and sent it back to them. Again, they did not respond and did not credit me when the games returned to them. I finally had to file a dispute with my credit card company. Within 24 hours of filing the dispute, the CC company was happy to report that DailyEx-convicts agreed to refund me.

In the end, yes, I got my money back. No, it wasn't a lot of money. But I wouldn't give one IOTA of business to this shady operation ever again -- and I encourage you not to, either.

My range is only about 10 feet. That is without a wall or anything in between, clear line of sight. Not sure how they got 33 feet. Both the speaker and the iPad was charged fully, also tried it with an iPod Touch and the same result (a little less range). Didn't try it with a phone, so I don't know if that makes it better or not.

I like the speaker, it can be a little hard to pair sometimes. I had to start the searching for the bluetooth device and then turn on the power of the speaker to get it to pair most of the time.

I have placed order for 2 speakers by mistake, while I needed only One. Now when I clicked on "contact us" option there is no phone number, only email is the option. Then I checked on different sites and found this seller have very very bad review and rating. It ship the items too late etc. Also, as I am in USA till 11/30/12 only, it would be a problem for me to return back 1 speaker. So, finger crossed if they cancel order for one speaker.

Although I have had issues with sites such as 1saleaday (horrible horrible customer service who are literally of a very low intelligence type) but dailysteals has met my expectations my past 5 orders (nothing over $20 though). It definitely takes at least a week for them to "ship" from whomever they contract through, but ultimately you ll get a tracking # and the pkg within a few days.

This product seems SUPER useful for streaming music from a laptop or from a cellphone during gatherings or small parties. I would prob use it for my shower 90% of the time versus my dying Ipod dock

so far i've only been able to test it in the same room. haven't had a chance to check out the range, but the sound is pretty good. good reviews on amazon, and i really like the fact that you can use a micro sd card, and that you can control the music right from the unit (ie. volume, track selection). i bought my first one for $34 bucks, so this is a great price!

as far as i know, you can control the volume, play, pause and forward and reverse tracks directly from the unit itself. not sure if you can shuffle, or replay certain tracks.

I hope everyone here gets exactly what is expected. A brand new in the box Veho Speaker. My experience with Dailysteals was not good with the only purchase I ever made with them. Some headphones that were supposed to be new and instead received a crushed box with scratched heaphones. If any of you receive less than what is advertised, I hope you will voice your displeasure. I can't stand merchants who think its ok to send junk to customers. Maybe my experience was an exception and not the rule . I certainly hope it will be the case here.

I can certainly vouch for what ever you said, I had similar experience but not with Daily Steal but some similar seller like dailysteal.
So far I had purchased few things but they all came in new condition, the only bad thing about DailySteal is their delivery time, they take so long that in all occasion I really forgot what I ordered until one fine day they show up in my mail box, also they don't pack things properly like amazon does may be they are saving on shipping but of course that might be the reason some time items come in damage and dented condition.

I just got mine today! All charged now and got my files transferred to a microSD. This thing rocks!! If you turn it on and it's plugged in, no music will play until you disconnect it from the cable.. Volume will be on full blast, so be prepared. I live on the west coast so you all should be receiving yours soon..

Got mine yesterday and charged it overnight. Just used in the bathroom while taking a shower and I LOVE it. good bass for such a small unit. not gonna blow it away, but much more bass than my phone speaker.

its LOUD too. so loud that I thought it had like 4 speakers but its only 2, one on each side.

You hold down the power button for 2 seconds to turn it on or off.

Once it is on, pressing the power button with a quick tap will pause it/silence it.

This is a great speaker. I literally pulled it out at a party, turned it on, and immediately had all my tech/geek friends pull out their iPads/iPhones and order one.

$25 (or $20 for the Black Friday deal w/free shipping) is a steal for this thing. Every other website has this for like $50. Even on ebay.

I immediately purchased another one after this came in. About 8 of my other friends purchased this after I showed them. Veho should hire me as a rep, lol.

I get about 4 hours on Bluetooth and about 8 Hours with just MP3 player mode.

Got mine earlier this week and I love it as well. This thing gets really loud when you crank up the volume which is impressive considering its size. Glad I didn't hesitate to jump on this deal.

Hey, did you ever fix the Veho M4 bluetooth speaker? Mine charged the first time, but I haven't been able to do any charges after. I don't see any warranty info with the Veho site and I shudder to try to get this exchanged with dailysteals.

Does anyone have any issues with the bluetooth. I have an iphone 4 and mine is all static when i try to connect? Everything else works great though.
