Will we see $99 for a Xbox 360 or PS3?
 

I'm not counting that ridiculous xbox 360 deal where you have to lock into 2-years of xbox live.

I bought a PS3 from gamestop for $199 with Batman Arkam City for free a few months ago. It only makes sense that they would try and sell as many as possible before the new systems are announced. The only way I'm going to buy one is if it is $99, that's for sure.

PS3 will likely be $199 bundled. Xbox could be lower since their "base price" of the 4gb is normally $199 (perhaps 149), but I don't think $99 is likely.

AAFES had it for 99 last year. Doesn't look like its going to happen again though.

PS3 no, but you will see the 2 year contract XBLG 360's on "sale".

any1 know if both of the super slim models will have a price drop? i want the 500gb super slim but only if theres a $50 price cut

Maybe, if you were able to get some sort of PM also matched the other store's GC.

Amazon did $99 on the xbox 360 arcade a few years ago....but I haven't seen anything like that since then.

I was tempted by the $178 (4GB slim) prices through Amazon recently, but am holding out for < $150 on or closer to Black Friday since I need 2 to use as extenders.

well it is more than $150, so I guess it's a good deal. Anyway, Walmart already has it for $199 and 3 months of xbox live.

Got a ton of the $85 Target Jaspers just before Slims came out. All are still running strong, right along side of the Slims. :)

We might see a $99 console for BF this year, but if so, it would be in very limited quantities just to drag people into the store...much like BB offers 42" TVs for $200, then has less than 10 for actual sale.

The basic 4gb Xbox slim was $149 on BF last year, so I would expect to see it lower than that.

i just saw a tv ad from microsoft today saying that the 4gb has been reduced by 50...

i was thinking about doing that but i want another ps3 and the 500gb is definitely worth it especially if it sells at $250 on black friday

$139 was the standard last year. Bought my slim for that and my fat model's 250gb hd worked fine in it. Well worth it if you ask me.

I just remember taking a walk through Target at about 10am last BF and they still had half a pallet of 360s.

I'm surprised there aren't more deals since the 360 is reaching it's end of life pretty soon.

I think the new 720 has been planned for a the Fall 2013 for several years now. So, might as well push out 360's since they should be fairly cheap to make now.

This seems like a decent deal to me, especially for people who don't want to fight BF crowds.

Target has the xbox 360 4GB system for 179.99 and you receive a Target $10 gift card. The weekly target add has a $10 off coupon for electronics purchase of $100 valid 11/12 10 PM - 11/13.

This brings system cost down to 159.99.

Could possibly save another 5% ($8.50) with red card purchase.

This would take price before tax down to about $151.50.
