Oh boy. I am waiting so long for a hard drive. This is a great deal, but I cant pull the trigger.

This doesn't fit the bill for me, because I want 7200RPM. This is 5700 RPM.

The platter data density increase allows the rpm to be lower and thus generate less heat for comparable speed in the external enclosure.

I'm interested in the 3-yr warranty. It's pretty good considering most(all?) of the external/internal 3tb drives out there with similar prices have only one or two year warranty.

its a rebranded Hitachi drive. I picked up 2 of them are BB.. they matched the newegg business price
