ORCAs Depression Study For working people 18+ $200

Are you working at least part-time and feeling stressed or down lately? Take part in our research study and receive up to $200.

We are currently seeking workers age 18 and over to help us evaluate a web-based program called the MoodTracker. The program is designed to help working people feel better and we need your input!

Taking part in the evaluation includes completing 4 online assessments over a 10 week period which shouldn't take more than 45 to 60 minutes each. We will also ask you to use our program a few minutes a day for the first 6 weeks. You will receive up to $200 for participating.

To see if you qualify, please visit our online survey at: http://wellnessatwork.surveyconsole.com.
We only need a limited number of participants so it’s important to contact us as soon as possible. If the survey states that you might be a good fit for this study, we will call you shortly afterwards to ask you a few brief questions and answer any questions you might have.
Any information you give us is kept completely confidential – you will be assigned an ID code to keep your information separate from your name and your information will not be shared with anyone outside of ORCAS.

If you would like further information about the study please contact us at 1-866-822-0226 ext. 4 or by email at: wellnessatwork@orcasinc.com.
ORCAS is a health research organization in Eugene, OR that creates interactive multimedia products to help people live healthier lives (www.orcasinc.com [orcasinc.com]). This study is funded by the National Institute of Mental Health.

Ok, it seems no one else wants to be seen posting on this one, or everyone is already extra Happy and WooHoo'ing it up out there with no stress whatsoever. ;) I'll thank you for sharing this Harlgal as maybe it will be of help to all who qualify. Ten weeks seems long for a study yet $200 is nice compensation and maybe their interesting sounding Moodtracker program will even help. REPPed x4 for taking the time to share one like this for all. Here's to your survey success.

amelego 01-07-2013 03:53 AM

Those of us w/2 surveys 1 check are in a different group-there are 2, ours is the review the websites/track mood and I think it pays $150 total....the other is different and it pays $200 total

yes thnx. i did 2nd study & recvd check. i think daily tracking group has 4 studies for full $200 after 10 weeks & 2nd group only reads helpful articles with fewer studies for less pay. i think i read the daily track group was only to track for 6 weeks. its been 6 weeks so should stop soon then only final studies.

You got to be real depressed and probably manic too.
A big problem in Psychiatry is they don't have a silver bullet for manic-depression, when people are up and down on a cycle. So, lots of pharmas are trying to concoct some pill to fix this and they need a bunch of studies that say the pill is safe for babies and animals and so on. So you have to tell them you get depressed all the time but then you are up in the clouds and people worry about you.

indiangirl 02-11-2013 08:00 PM

I got my 4th check today! :)

I agree. I told the researcher that I really learned a lot from this study. I got my last check today. I hope we get picked for the other study, too. This was an excellent experience!

FireRockss 02-11-2013 10:01 PM

I got called for this one about a month ago and didn't qualify. Think this is a new study for it?
