The Gloria Jean's is a medium roast and this is light/regular. I didn't like this one nearly as much ad the Gloria Jeans, but it's OK.

Happy I can help out (possibly) - it usually the other way around. ;) Have not had the Gloria Jeans, but I was singularly unimpressed wtih this Green Mountain flavor. In fact of the five I purchased at a Quill special a while ago, this was the only one I wasn't fond of. It's not that it's undrinkable, or has some horrible chemical aftertaste, or anything like that. It's just - meh. It's only marginally identifiable as hazelnut, so I used some flavored creamers so at least it tasted like an actual hazelnut coffee. It's a mild roast, and I actually prefer a mild roast that is done well. This is one case I won't bite, it's simply not worth it. Maybe get some for friends aquaintences you don't want to share your best k-cups with.
