you cant compare a no icemaker/water dispenser fridge to one that has one.
And the samsung over all websites has over a 1000 reviews with maybe 100 bad ones---if that. What does this have like 25 reviews total ?
This seems like a decent fridge, but its not in the same league as the samsung.

If you purchase these through the Kmart.com website with the code Autumn10 they are 10% cheaper.

For example, the white one posted above is $1084 in cart with that coupon code.

Fair enough. Three points:
  • This fridge does have an icemaker
  • The Samsung is an older model, which is likely why it has accumulated more reviews
  • This fridge may not be in the same league as the Samsung, but it's also not in the same price range

I hear you. A lot of people want the water/ice in the door. Its a must have. Of course your going to spend a few hundred more as a result. I like that the Samsung is an "older" model--(maybe a year or two old ?)---tells me they probably worked out all the bugs from the earlier builds. Much like a car that's been out a few years.

All very valid points. Since I don't drink ice water, it never even occurred to me. :O

Is the kmart.com price supposed to be the same as the sears.com price? The Kmart price is $1268.99, but the Sears price is $1205.54. How are you getting the Kmart price down to the Sears price? Note these prices are before applying any of the discount codes.

You dont, its that price I posted on Kmart after the autumn10 code despite the higher initial price.

Something seems weird with my Sears cart. The web page shows the $1205 price, but when I add it to my cart and start going through the checkout, it jumps to $1268. I went back and cleared all of the sears cookies and tried it again, but got the same result. Anyone else seeing this?

It looks like they've now changed the web page to the $1268 price, so not as hot of a deal as first posted.
