I'd bite at the $100.00 mark. This is just too close to the $199 for 16gb IMO.

The problem with the N7 is that it's very hard to find a free ship no tax store. At least for me in NYC.

actually staples gave me a 16GB by mistake instead of a 8GB and I'm waiting for android 4.2 this week to miracast to my 50" HDTV

and since this tablet supports OTG, I think this micro otg reader adapter www.goo.gl/BER0z might be helpful and I can use either of my 16/32 micro sd memory cards with it without drawing much power :)

wow, I figured google would have a hit on it's hands at the $199 price and be selling these like crazy but seeing the price cut already... I guess Apple really does own the tablet market.

Amazon doesnt sell the nexus since they make the kindle, those are just overpriced 3rd party sellers. The 16gb version at regular price is cheaper than those sellers.

They cut the price because it's a discontinued model. It was originally 200. The 16gb N7 took it's place at that price point. Go be an apple cheerleader somewhere else.

That makes sense - I didn't realize the N7 increased GB and lowered the price on the one released a few months ago. In with the new and out with the old. :)

I was just amazed google was cutting prices already and not cheerleading for apple. I figure if anyone can cut down the apple tree it will be google.

$40 more for the extra 8GB is a no brainer. Or if you wait for BF the 32gb is $229.

In that case, the cheerleader comment was misdirected and I apologize for that. I don't think it's google that actually cut the price themselves, though. It seems that stores are just trying to get rid of these at a lower price, since it would be pretty hard to sell an 8gb model at 16gb prices.

These are mostly display models.
