I have personally used this particular cable and ARC and 3D work fine.

Grabbed 2 of these the other day and they arrived on Tuesday. Like everyone else says, they're awfully thin -- but they look like HDMI cables :-). I haven't tried one out yet, but I'm confident they will work as long as they don't get jostled too much.

steveliv 11-15-2012 05:36 AM

Just a preemptive strike... ARC and 3D work fine on these cables. I just got my shipment from last weeks sale, and again 3D and ARC work.

jjjordann 11-15-2012 05:43 AM

Anyone know if this will hook up a ps3 to a tv?

If the TV has hdmi inputs and the distance between said pc and ps3 is less than 6 feet, yes.

It's an HDMI cable...so yes, it will.

SennamonTea 11-15-2012 06:08 AM

Not ultra gold plated and virus killing features?! pass.

I bought this and would not recommend. I have it hooked up and it constantly losses connection to my devices. I believe the wire is just too thin

spicytofu 11-15-2012 06:20 AM

thin stuff, get the thick stuff at monoprice.

jbloggs 11-15-2012 06:20 AM

Coupon can be used a maximum of 5 ($1.50 discount/each). Buy 5 and trade in Gamestop in-store credit for $20.

Mike_Hawk 11-15-2012 08:01 AM

N45. Should be ~$7.32 if 2% Mr R. and 1% Discover kick in.

You can never have enough HDMI cables, ESPECIALLY since I'm the tech nerd of my family and work. Peeps are ALWAYS needing HDMI cables from me for their new devices.

You might be making fun of me, but I want to answer your Q anyway. Yes, Gamestup will take any HDMI cable as long as they are not in brand new sealed condition. If they are, open it. YMMV, if you trade in too many at a time, they might limit to certain quantity, unless you are a really hot chick. Go figure.

no im being serious. their policy is to give 4 dollars credit for every used HDMI cable? wow. that is a very, very nice money maker (for games) right there. confirm this and ill rep you

i actually prefer the thinner cables since they bend easier

7 bucks for 5 6-foot HDMI cables shipped...thin, thick, it doesn't matter because they will either work or they won't - period - so it's hard to say no to stocking up on some backups/giveaways at this price.
