Ignore. can't delete this post...

I would be all over this if Staples had that 25 off keyboard coupon running like when I got the K400 for $5
|
I have the k400, walmart sells it at 29.99 regularly. Great keyboard, so I suspect the k700 is just as good.
|
tried to order using Paypal but after going to Paypal it just comes back to Meriline without saying complete order. Is anyone else having the same issue in using Paypal?

This is a good deal. |
I don't see a windows key anywhere on it. Does anyone know if you can remap the search key or something to a windows key with their software? The search key would be useless for me and I need the windows key.

This keyboard doesn't have the F1-F12 keys so make sure you don't need those if you're going to get this.
|
This keyboard doesn't have a RIGHT CLICK MOUSE BUTTON. That's a deal breaker for me ladies!
|
I own this for my revue and i would never ever consider using it for a pc. It's alright to use if laying in bed as a remote but it's too small to do anything productive though.

* Search (Lupe) is the Windows Key. * Home key - launches Internet Explorer. * Back key - previous screen (either IE or Windows Explorer or within context of what you are doing) * OK/Enter or OK (inside arrows) is Enter. * FN + Left Mouse click is Right Mouse click... |
In-4-1 as I just finished my HTPC in the living room. Dropping cable service this weekend and figuring out how to tap into the old DirecTV satellite on the roof of my house.
|
I have a logitech revue (which is now in storage) and use this with my HTPC running XBMC on Windows 8 - it works great. As Crartech indicated, FN+Left Mouse = right click. Besides, how often do you need right click in XBMC? ;)
But seriously though, this is perfect for HTPC use. |

Who wants a keyboard that doesn't have f1-f12? Especially f5 to refresh.. |
Nice find, in 4 1. Thanks OP
|
???

Works very well for a HTPC. I have it on my Revue which I don't like but they keyboard is the only good part about it
|
For the same money at a Microcenteri you have one nearby, I recommend the MK260 instead.
Goes on sale for $25 every now and then. Much better for a HTPC or typing in bed. Comes with wireless mouse, good battery life on both kb (2xAAA) and mouse (1xAA). With the key oddness, I can't recommend this one over the MK260. |
I own the K400, has the F1-F12 keys and right click on the touchpad:

The code worked just now.

If you're deciding between K400 or K700, buy a K400. I owned both and K400 is more practical for HTPC use.
|
can i just plug this into my sony tv? or do i have to use it from a pc?

Thanks OP. Was just looking at the k400 but this seems even better. I am replacing a dinovo that has a finicky touchpad and a problem with a couple of the keys that require a lot more force than the others to register.

sounds like he really upset you. |
really good keyboard, great for watching movies on the sofa or the bed.
|
It's cute, but I think the K400 would be better if you wanted to type anything.
I have the Lenovo mini keyboard remote thing with is also cute but equally mostly worthless. I could almost make do with just a mouse instead. |
Code continues to work, deal is still alive!

I have the K400 and I love it, but the layout of this K700 model sucks. The K400 is much more practical and doesn't have all the "gimmicky" shortcut keys, instead it has more practical keys like a regular keyboard/mouse setup.
|
This is perfect for a living room or multi media setup. It takes a couple of days to get used to the size and key arrangement - but I have been very pleased.
|
Code still good....

Hello,
I am looking for a Keyboard with full set of keys and with Mouse integrated within the keyboard. I also need this to be either wireless or Bluetooth. Size doesn't matter for me. Could anyone recommend a good one if any? Thanks in Advance. |

Even though I don't really need one, I got it. Thanks SD, thanks OP lol
|
in for one. just going to use it to mess around with my google tv, so i'm fine with it not being as robust as a regular keyboard.
thanks op. reps! |

Its not really meant to be used as a normal keyboard. Its supposed to be a glorified remote control for HTPCs. At least I am using it for that. I wish I had read the fine print about it being for Google TV but it does what I need it to do with WMC. Volume buttons work, It has a track pad, I can control everything well enough to do what I need to in a very small keyboard package that doesn't get in the way when I dont want a full size keyboard. I already have a K270 if I want to play games etc. and didn't expect or want this to be a normal Windows keyboard. The only complaint I have again could have been alleviated with me reading the fine print, such as the record button not working but that is OK since I can use the track pad to record. And pressing the Fn key for right click is OK... I don't see that at something I can't quickly adjust to since I only use this in WMC to watch TV. |
Does this absolutely require a Logitech "companion box" to work with? I've seen people mention they're using it with their PCs even though its not an ideal layout for a Windows keyboard.
I'm having no luck with this on my PC or my Android box - no response at all. I really want to use it with the Android box [mele.cn], but not getting anywhere. EDIT: nm, had to download the unifying software from logitech as the receiver didn't seem to be connected to the keyboard. Works fine now. |
