I called best buy today and the woman told me that even the door busters would be available on Monday.. This didn't sound right to me so I asked again a few different ways to verify that indeed they would be available and she confirmed.. It really sounded like she didn't know what she was telling me though. I'm going on Monday just in case.

I tried this crap last year, what a joke. Not all the door busters are available and even the ones they did have were near impossible to get on that POS they call a website. Then to top it off they took 3 weeks to ship. I guess I should consider myself lucky considering some people were cancelled entirely when they couldn't fulfill orders. Best Buy not only screwed the pooch last year they didn't even buy it dinner.

Confirmed, bout time they posted it! They had me worried :P

hate to say it but it is crap. I called and spoke to 2 different premier silver people. the first told the sale is THURSDAY. Then refused to transfer me to a supervisor so I could let them know their reps dont even have the right info. The second refused to transfer me without getting all the info AGAIN. I hung up both times. Way to fail again this year best buy. You could not do a worse job with this. If you want to know how to do an early online only sale look at what lowes does. They cue up site visitors and let them online periodically so the site does not crash.

you have made unforgivable errors in my opinion
1. you never made up for last years failure
2. you are doing it all over again this year

you need to fire whoever 'plans' this stuff cause they don't know what they are doing.

That would be an interesting thought! However, when I log into my account, I can't add an iPad to cart, the Add button is greyed out. I assume it was done to prevent the scenario you are talking about. If I purchase iPad in store, I would lose my 10% with Discover and Shopdiscover.

hmm, interesting point. i just looked at my BB card from the mail, the 3x pts deal has to be done at the retail store. i guess i can wait for BF as the Discover card has 10% like you said, which would be about the same as 3x pts. anyone know what is the dollar equivalent for $500 purchase in terms of 3x pts? thx

My math is known to be slightly off but here's what I think: $10 = 500 points. So, for your $500 purchase you will get 1500 points which you can convert into a $30 certificate. Honestly, you will benefit more from 10% with Discover.

I was thinking the same thing. I was looking to buy a big tv but they only have one I can see that is equipped with internet. this is 2012 what is up with that? and most of them are 120hz. looks to me like they are cleaning out their warehouse. I am going to buy a few small things but that is all. they don't even have a 32gb tablet. I was ready to take the plunge on one of those also. I don't think a 60" 240hz smart tv and a 32gb tablet is too much to ask for in 2012. I will wait for a sale or maybe next black friday.

Will the shop discover link work? For that extra 5% you need to go through discovers site, but for the sale then you need to follow the email link. So wont one cancel out the other?

It may be because it is only 60hz. 120hz has been the standard for a couple years and I was looking for a 240hz.

I got 2 of the 3TB drives for friends. First order went through fine. Second order went slower and it didn't calculate tax. This was on the mobile site.

last year the tv deal they had for $85 sold out instantly. But later in the day they had plenty more to order. So its possible that items will come back if sold out. Possibly due to them cancelling multiple orders or other things. Though i know people are still able to purchase multiple items

It is VERY easy to spend 2500 bucks at bestbuy in a year. Specially if you used BBFB for work stuff. (reward zone points flow in when you are ordering software licenses and other business equipment!)

Got lucky lol. I did like 6 with 1-4 items per order, with the slow site. Only got one shipped then when i tried to order something after black friday (which was when all my other orders got cancelled) my online orders were immediately all cancelled. I called about it and got rude people saying can't help you you're a reseller or competitor, was a huge headache.

Managed to get the 27 inch LG monitor and email order confirmation right before it went down. Planned to go back for some games and blu rays but like others said they will likely say sold out when the site is back up. Its only Monday and its not like a bunch of other sites are not having comparable deals. I think these "going to the BBB" posts are hilarious.

You know, aside from the main site being down..they still manage to show off the Black Friday preview ad. I know I'm being cynical, but looks like an effective advertising tool for the ad.

I'm not saying going to the BBB is worthwhile, but I wanted to buy in one place and have it done, where I had free shipping. If I have to order 2 blu rays from WM and 2 from Amazon and whatever I'll end up getting screwed on the shipping charges. I was looking forward to placing one order and not having to go out to 7 different places on BF.
