can't beat the price for a cheap ball and bat delivered to the house.

The reviews are so-so but I think these are adults hitting the balls and not children. I thought this would be nice for my 5 year old and 13 year old boys to use during the summer and not have the 13 yr old accidentally hurt the 5 year old.

i wasn't able to get this deal, but was at TRU tonight and saw a 2 pack of the balls on clearance for $1.48 .. and it's buy 1 get 1 50% on nerf.. just an fyi if anyone if picking up in store.

This toy is for kids 10-40 (yeah, I'm closer to 40 than 10). The idea is that any kid can pitch like a pro and make the ball curve and dive. While any kid can play with it, the ball is made to move around in the air so a little kid might not have much fun if he is just learning to play because the ball curving.

The quality of the product (I bought it on clearance at WM) is pretty good, no complaints. The instructions for pitching all the different pitches is really useful. The best I found is the curve, splitter, and my knuckleball.

The only con is that adults will hit the ball to far for neighborhood play. I lost the ball after crushing it over my parents house the first time my brother and I messed around with it. :(

It was a fun ball to play with for the 1hr we played.

If you really want it, you might have to check in-store Walmart. I bought one for like $5 about 2 months ago on markdown in the sporting goods department. I also noticed just recently that at another WM store that they had one on mark down too. Didn't notice the price, but I'm sure it was marked down to make room for season sporting goods.
