Have these in my save for later cart and saw a decent price drop this morning.

This is their non 3D model and it isn't a smart tv and only has 2HDMI's.

This link will have the option for all the different models

Samsung UN55EH6000 55-Inch 1080p 240Hz LED HDTV (Black) - 878$ FS @ Amazon

Samsung sells on Amazon:

Samsung UN55EH6000 55-Inch 1080p 240Hz LED HDTV (Black) for 877.99$ -
http://www.amazon.com/Samsung-UN5...631&sr=1-1

This is a similar TV to the one Best Buy will have on BF for 799$ + tax (55$ in NJ) = 854$.

If you are like me and don't want to camp around BB yet still want to get it here you can. Prime members get Wednesday scheduled delivery.

P.S: Same TV sold on official site for the same price yet there is a tax charge.

singlbird 11-18-2012 09:11 AM

Bestbuy and Frys have the same model number with the same price now, but its showing as 120Hz

acideal 11-18-2012 09:17 AM

Samsung description and comparison charts shows this one is 240hz.

I think for 25$ extra over BB doorbuster chance, with no tax and early Wednesday delivery it's not such a bad deal, prolly gonna pull the trigger in a few... Was hoping they would sell 6030 through Amazon as well, for 950 that would be a great entry level 3d tv :)

avidracer 11-18-2012 09:19 AM

seems pretty much the standard price everywhere including - costco, best buy, frys

Tazmania99 11-18-2012 09:20 AM

This is a 120Hz TV, not 240Hz. The description on Amazon is incorrect.

stor0910 11-18-2012 09:49 AM

One ends with an F the other one doesn't this is a great price! but i kinda want 3d for 3d movies etc... i think i'm going to wait and see if i can find a 8000 serious one

lhscouchmonster 11-18-2012 09:58 AM

Sears has the 55 inch tv for around 880 right now. Theres 10% cash back from discover at sears.com. just do in store pick up.

Brings it down to the best buy price on bf since u wont be getting any discover cash back in store.

799 plus tax and no bf lines

Yea, I know! I like Amazon's return police, cash back, and price match though.

Samsung UN55EH6000 55-Inch 1080p 240Hz LED HDTV for $878 at Amazon

1 Attachment(s)
New price drop on Amazon by $420. Its 55" 240Hz LED HDTV and of course the generic 1080p.

I would personally go for a more expensive/higher end LG, but this is a great price for a budget tv.

magicchef 11-18-2012 11:31 AM

THANK YOU, OP. I was actually going to buy this on BF, but this saves me a lot of hassle. It's a no frills TV with back-lit LED, which is exactly what my parents wanted. Repped +4.

I was wondering how the picture quality compares between these Samsungs and the Walmart Black Friday 60" Vizeo?

slick5150 11-18-2012 11:53 AM

I bought the 60" version of this set a couple months ago. Gorgeous picture on it. Very happy with the purchase.

Not true. I've had this on price alert on camelx3 for a while. It just alerted me of this price this morning. Thought about posting it but someone beat me to it. Love the picture on this thing but two HDMI makes me weary...

I bought the 50 inch of this samsung. The picture is great. Go check the Amazon reviews. Everyone seems to agree.

Im always skeptical about vizio because at the end of the day it is a budget tv company. Samsung is the industry leader and has been for a while. I would take a cheap Samsung over a mid grade vizio.

Also says 120Hz on the sears website. So which is it 120 or 240?

It's 120 but they say 240 because of their 240 CMR rating or whatever they want to call it.

Adnan01 11-18-2012 01:16 PM

I ordered this for $1200 from warehouse deals.

Samsung UN60D7000 60-Inch 1080p 240 Hz 3D LED HDTV, Silver [2011 MODEL]

Can someone please guide me if I return this and get one of these instead? I'll appreciate any advise.

It's 120hz. Samsung uses a BS term called "Clear Motion Rate" that they advertise as being "240" so that people think they're buying a better set than they really are. To be frank, it's just short of flat out lying on their part.

DeCee 11-18-2012 01:28 PM

65" - Vanns also has the same price http://www.vanns.com/shop/servlet...un65eh6000

Beatz 11-18-2012 01:34 PM

anyone else have any reviews on this tv?

Stingy McCheap 11-18-2012 01:57 PM

Check AVSforums.com for more info on the TV. Fair warning, more information isn't always a good thing :)

Thanks for the replies. Your right, very deceiving how they do that. Is there any other companies that I should be aware of that also do this?

DeCee 11-18-2012 03:33 PM

elmo7 11-18-2012 03:41 PM

Nice price. Paid about $1100 about 6 mths ago for the 55". Nice PQ, IMO. Didn't care for the 3D or useless apps. What I wanted was an LED back lit screen, not the edge lit stuff. Being thin didn't matter at all. Mine sits on a console.

Why is the 3D version (UN40EH6030 $497???) going lower than the non 3D (UN40EH6000) one?
Anyone know any difference between these two TVs? The specs look exactly the same.

csupernova 11-19-2012 09:09 AM

but the 65" looks so tempting !!!!

PayNay 11-19-2012 10:31 AM

Yes they definitely accept amazon.com purchases. Can I buy a warranty from costco if I bought the TV from amazon.com?

Stealth3si 11-19-2012 01:36 PM

ST told me i can buy from costco if i bought a TV from Frys & Electronics so they should accept from amazon.com too.

Costco also said yes to me as long as it's from an authorized retailer. i dunno if amazon is an authorized retailer tho.

try emailing them both to see what answer you get.

Stingy McCheap 11-19-2012 04:36 PM

it is tempting indeed..

You have to appreciate the fact that there is NO LED-lit TV on the market that is perfect.. NOT A SINGLE ONE.

You just have to roll the dice and hope you get a decent panel which satisfies your need. TV manufacturers are not out there to create the perfect TV. Then you won't upgrade next year :)

vnw98 11-19-2012 04:47 PM

I really want a 65 inch tv but there is not much of a selection. Only reason I am against this tv is because of its size. I really want a slim tv so I can mount over the fire place. You guys have any recommendations? thanks

rj124104 11-19-2012 05:41 PM

So what's wrong with this TV? I can't find anything on the AVS forums bad

csupernova 11-20-2012 10:09 AM

depends on the batch, some do not use samsung panel even though it says SAMSUNG on the front. :(
The only way to confirm is the box label. They have a forum dedicated to EH6000 series at avsforums. You can read more about it.

which are typical of any LED-lit TV out there.. nothing in particular. Most people are turned off because it has only two HDMI or is 4" thick or is heavy. I could live with all those at the offered price. I'm not expecting miracles but hoping nothing is horribly wrong with the panel I end up getting.
