I guess the plain-vanilla Intel GPU means it's not the best for gaming, but for what I do (audio production), this CPU smokes. Nice to have the big screen, big hard drive, and 6 GB RAM. Anyone have any experience with Beats Audio, positive or negative?

It is posted. 17.3 in the wiki. I think the SD community has resorted to just a list of laptops instead of individual deals unless they're like.. Hot. And since I believe this is B&M only I wouldn't get it :s.

Thanks for the link to that page. I guess "hot" might be relative, but I think this has got to be the best deal on a 17" laptop this Black Friday. Staples offers the exact same laptop with 8 GB instead of 6 GB for a whopping $100 more ($629). All the other 17" laptops have inferior CPUs or priced close to $1000.

Anyone know if this deal is available online or only B&M?

Was all set to get in line on Thursday night to purchase this laptop, and to my surprise, checked online early Thursday morning and ordered it right then and there at the $529 price. Already shipped, can't wait to get it set up. I thought this was the best laptop deal of all the Black Friday ads.

I know this comment was posted way back, but to respond to it...yes it does have a backlit keyboard.

It was an amazing deal and would still be a great deal at it's original price even (or any price it can be found at now) since it has pretty much everything and something I've been in awe of is the fact it never heats up at all, the coolsense technology works flawlessly. I know everyone knows about how most laptops get really hot and it'd be almost like a dream to have them not get too warm, this thing doesn't even get somewhat warm! It's really impressive.
