Decent deal for the HP ENVY Phoenix h9-1315t only 85 bucks more than the Dell FP deal but comes with Bluray vs DVD/CD , 2TB HD vs 1TB, Radeon 7670 graphics card vs 7570, 600w PSU and Watercooling

I picked one up. Stacked with shopdiscover for 5% cash back to get the price down to ~$745. Nice work OP. However, I did have to link from a different site to get the price. For some reason I couldn't duplicate using your link. If you can't get the price using OP's link, try this one.

Anyone now if this overclocks? I noticed the liquid cooling. I have never OC before. Any pointers or URLs that breaks it down for an idiot?

na_tra 11-23-2012 10:49 AM

i like this better than the XPS 8500 since I have no choice.

just chiming in: I'd recommend not overclocking this PC, and therefore not upgrading to the K processor.

maxpain123 12-06-2012 06:04 PM

don't think this can accomodate double bracket video cards

edit: new case remove the center bar and now have better hd cage (sata facing outward)

vaca_loca 12-08-2012 07:43 PM

Interesting -- in the liquid cooling picture, they show an HP branded water cooler that looks pretty much exactly like the Antec Kuhler 620. That particular one was on sale for $45 recently on Amazon.

maxpain123 12-10-2012 01:40 PM

water cooler is sourced from hp's server division vendor(which is ??)
