Let me know if you see it posted elsewhere...searched but didn't see it.
Do Netbooks ever go down in price? I remember buying one for around this same price a couple years ago... yes, this one is a dual-core, but ultimately, very similar... Even so, am quite tempted to snag it. Want to get a computer for my kid (6) -- am hoping (but doubting) I'll be able to snag the $180 WM deal... while not much is needed, netbook just seems too weak... I dunno...
Anyhow, thanks Op.
Well I was in the market for one and bought the Asus from Sears yesterday. Ended up buying this one too so I think I might get rid of the one from Sears. It's for my mom so it doesn't need to be anything special as she has a hard enough time navigating the internet.
I got this one. I was thinking the same thin regarding pricing. This is to replace mine that finally bit the dust after being knocked off the couch arm a few dozen times.
ANY Netbook will be a different monster if you upgrade to 2GB. I've played with many and the 1 GB is just a slug.. Go to 2 GB and you have a decent little throw down browser/emailer.
i throw one of the intel 180g ssd in my old single core atom acer netbook. thing turned into a monster.
thanks for bringing back a 2+ week old DEAD thread
