What is wrong with Tiger Direct? I'm really considering this deal, but after reading the warranty on the website:

Yeah, that's what is drawing me back away from confirming payment. But are other HDTV's like that too for warranty? Do you also have to pay for shipping?

tigerdirect is a site that amazon will price match against for low price guarantee, but not sure if MIR are included

Took me almost an hour but finally got it to process with paypal. But now can't get the rebate form to come up to print. Maybe that will be faster tomorrow.

Hard to find a better price for a 40" LED TV... going to get squaretrade as insurance.

I don't think any major name brand charges to have the TV shipped to their facility. Usually they just send someone out to your place or cover shipping both ways.

Do you have an AMEX? I'd use that for a TV at this price range. No point in spending more money unless you think you're in it for the long haul.

Yeah, I got two of the HDTV deals on amazon earlier today (the 50" Hitekker for $288 and 32" Coby for $150), but I was unimpressed with the specs. They were both LCD, and 720p (i think). All were not name brands, but at least this one is LED 1080p for a good price.

I think we're getting confused here. That first form people keep posting is not a rebate form, just instructions on how to get your rebate. I've been using the offer code TD-7509 for a while here https://www.4myrebate.com/Claim/FindaRebate and can't get to it.
Either the site is getting slammed or it's just not up yet.

Yeah, having a hard time filling out the rebate as well. Sometimes it either doesn't let me go to the next page or it will give me an error.

Finally got the rebate to print this morning. I guess they fixed it or there isn't as many people trying.

My order status finally updated saying:

"All Backordered - These items are currently on backorder, and will ship as soon as we receive stock on them."

What's going to happen about the rebate. It says the rebate is only valid 30 days after the purchase. Does the day I put in my order count as the purchase date? Or the day it was shipped..? What if it doesn't come until 30 days after I ordered it >_>

Could anyone post some advice or instructions on setting up the picture right? Mine arrived today - the box it was in was pretty torn up. I guess for $199 AR it is alright, but I want to make sure I get the best picture settings possible.

Well that sucked..... UPS completely damaged the screen. Called TigerDirect and was on hold for 3.5 hours and they ended up closing without answering my phone call.... Tried emailing and online chat and have no response...

Time to dispute the credit card charges...
