Can I buy a 250 $ BB Gift card, pick it up in store and buy 250 Amazon gift cards using BB gift cards? In nut shell, can I use BB gift cards to pay for Kindle gift cards?

Too late! I already bought the iPad 2 for $339 from them. But then again it went back up to $399.

Best thing to do is buy a $250 item (Asus TF300T 16GB). Receive the $25 after 7 days and then return the item. Use the $25 to buy something else that you really wanted just tell them that you are returning the item because you prefer to get the Nexus 7 which they don't sell.

Walmart has it for $1.99 cheaper than Best Buy but sold out ONLINE. Maybe you should check it out in a store.

Hmm I like this idea. Has anyone tried this before? I would hate to do it and not be able to redeem the $25 credit.

keep in mind, returning stuff to best buy now requires your driver's license, which is swiped and then stored in a national database that is shared by multiple stores to track consumer returns. hit a threshold of returns and all participating stores in the database will deny all future returns for you.

that said, combine this w/ $20 amex = $45 total return on $250 giftcard purchase -- end up with $275 in "kindle" giftcards (redeem BB giftcard / $25 offer) for $235 out of pocket (plus rewards on the credit card and a $5 reward zone) -- not too bad.

ends up with an effective discount of 15% at amazon not counting the reward zone / credit card points.

I have tried it before when they were giving away $10 if you buy something worth $100 online and order for pickup at store. I bought the Transfromer Pad and also the keyboard Dock. I forgot that it's only 1 GC per account. I could have bought the kb dock separately using my friend's account to get another $10 and have him pick that one up. My intention was just to test the TF Pad with the dock. I liked it but I wanted something else. I received my $10 which I used right away to buy Amazon GC. Not as slick now because Amazon charges tax in CA.

What was funny was that they almost gave me 2 Transformer Pads. The cashier asked why I bought them separately (thinking I'll get two $10 GC), so I told her I wasn't so sure if I wanted the dock but decided to buy it anyway after I've already made the tablet purchase. Then she realized that she was holding two boxes that both has tablets in it and said someone made a mistake. OOPS! I was almost an owner of two Transformer Pads!

And don't worry about returns. If you bought other stuff from them that you have not returned you should be ok. Also it seems that if you return too many stuff in a year, that will cause a red flag. I have returned stuff bought from the Ultimate Rewards deal too so I can buy Amazon gift cards instead.

Looks like all the individual store clearance sections are down. Perhaps they don't want us stacking this deal with a clearance item?
