The monday12 code isnt working on final items or regular priced items. "We're sorry, this coupon cannot be applied at this time." On the site it even states the code is valid till 11:59pm pst. Am I doing something wrong?

It is, but the quality is good, the fit is really good (at least on their t-shirts and hoodies if you like slim fit), and it's US-made (with non-sweatshop labor). Now that they seem to have cleaned up their sketchy management issue (Charney), it's worth it if you can get a good deal.

bought my 4th flex fleece hoodie(black again, as the one i got 2 years ago is faded as sh*t) and a tri-blend t-shirt. was an additional 9 dollars, but whatever. 34 dollars for one of their hoodies and shirts shipped is great in my book because the quality and durability of the items are great. plus yaknow..no sweatshops.

On google chrome, I had the monday12 promo activated a few hours ago and I just checked out now using the groupon and it worked. But now i just tried the promo on firefox "inprivate"browing and it didn't work.

Yes, the groupon is a $50 gift card. It will work just fine on not so perfect, as it worked just fine for me on a not so perfect grab bag.

how much is required for free shipping for online use? im guessing the code doesnt work anymore. anyone know often these codes come by?

I go 3 tri blend shirts for $6.25 after applying both codes.
which is about $10 for each shirt. that's the lowest I've ever scored!!!!

Placed an order for 10 jersey t shirts (not so perfect). Hope they fit well. I had a $25 credit from the kenneth cole debacle so my total OOP was only $5 for 10 shirts. Wish the 20% off worked though.....

From sexual harassment lawsuits to controversial hiring practices (hire based off full length photographs, also hiring illegal immigrants) to sleazy advertising sexualizing violence. People can also weigh the pros and cons and decide it's worth it to shop at American Apparel with a clear conscience. AA's business has fallen off drastically and it's thought they will have to expand to overseas production if they want to continue to grow (and maybe survive). Meanwhile all the bad publicity and lawsuits has forced them to clean up their act dramatically.

Given the poor treatment factory workers often receive overseas (and sexual harassment is known to be the least of it), it's reasonable to want to patronize American Apparel because of its positives and continue supporting US-clothing manufacturing, even knowing there have been management abuses rather than go with buying cheaper, lower quality goods from somewhere with less transparency.

Used the Groupon code a few minutes ago with my order. After submitting my information and completing the order I was strangely redirected to the homepage without receiving any order confirmation. I tried ordering again, but my promotion code didn't work.

3 out of the 4 items I ordered were shipped. One is backorder, will ship later. it should be OK as it was a regular priced item, so likely just oos at the moment

As I was reading through the Q&A on the deal, it now says the deal has expired. That was the Groupon in the lovely Inland Empire.

Guy on the phone said I could still use it on other items. It's as if I never used it. I'm considering trying to get Groupon to refund me for this though, I only bought it to get some multipacks of plane shirts.

I was able to use code, TY15ZU89NKAPL3 it is only 15% but better than nothing since the monday12 code isnt working.

I order this Groupon every time, and every time my order is super screwed up and I have to call multiple times to fix it. I love their stuff, but they have horrible customer service and horrible inventory and shipping practices. One time my package was sent back to them by UPS because it got damaged in transit (so said the tracking info), and I had to call multiple times to get them to re-order the items for me (they thought I had shipped it back myself, or didn't know about it), and wanted to charge me again for the items. It took 4 weeks to get it straightened out. Another time I ordered two pairs of winter leggings, and got a men's button down shirt instead of one of the pairs. I had to mail it back, couldn't take it to the store, and waited another 3 weeks for them to send me a replacement. In the mean time, that size/color sold out so I had to call AGAIN to pick out another one. I have had three other times (not all Groupon orders) where I order something and get something completely different in the package. I've gotten to the point where I'll just keep whatever I get (including some XL men's sweatpants even though I ordered a dog vest).

Great items, HORRIBLE inventory/shipping/customer service. It's a trade off to get 1/2 off items.
