I can tell you in a few days :)

the Amazon reviews are 4.5+ stars with 700+

Under the reviews there is also a customer unboxing it and testing it. I guess that doesn't help you with sound quality, but you get a good look at the product.

There is also this blue tooth headset that qualifies for the free speaker:

http://www.amazon.com/Kinivo-BTH3..._sim_cps_4

jayman350 11-28-2012 08:13 AM

I have one of these speakers, works well, decent sound, great battery life. It is a small portable speaker so set your expectations accordingly. You can also chain multiple speakers together to enhance the sound.

Been eyeing those headphones for a bit now, just need to convince myself that I don't need another set until my MotoRokr S305s die on me... or I can get them all at this deal and decide if i'm going to gift them away or keep them.

usdesikid 11-28-2012 08:32 AM

Sweet! I just bought the combo. Thanks :-)

bargainartist 11-28-2012 09:17 AM

Just a heads up on the BTD-400 USB Adapter: "Compatible with Windows 8 / Windows 7 / Vista / XP. Not compatible with Mac OS." Otherwise, great deal!!

I'm pretty sure they are the same exact speakers, I bought a pair from Monoprice....these seem to just have different branding/logos.....

peppermint 11-28-2012 09:32 AM

The mini speakers are not BT, are they?

bardwso 11-28-2012 09:40 AM

Any reviews from someone who got these the last time they were bundled?

No, the mini-speaker isn't Bluetooth. Jeez that would be even sweeter. But I'm in for a set all the same, thanks OP. I just happened to want both a dongle and BT headphones for some stuff!

ElvisR2630 11-28-2012 09:48 AM

my total is coming out to 47.07 anyone get it down to $37?

It says its "Not compatible with Mac OS", but the pictures on Amazon show it plugged into the side of a Macbook Pro. :lmao:

I guess that would be a Mac booted into Windows.

Isnt that NE deal for the headphones for $20 a better deal then?

I got the headphone from newegg for $20. The extra $18 for a non-bluetooth speaker and a usb dongle which you can get for cheap or FAR around SD doesnt seem worth the extra cost.
Personal preference though. Good deal if you need the extras

sagitta 11-28-2012 11:14 AM

I got this based on the thread about the DailySale deal on the Kinivo headset... Didn't think to point this out. Nice post ;p

salgutierrez 11-28-2012 11:25 AM

wasnt this headset 20$ with free speaker like a couple days back?

jsullivanj 11-28-2012 11:25 AM

Getting em, just because, I'm rick james beatch

ck128 11-28-2012 11:28 AM

Headphone only is still $20, is speaker worth extra $17?

just got this seems like a good deal expicially with xmas coming up ill gift the speaker and usb dongle stocking stuffers. nice deal!!

Blade2000 11-28-2012 11:54 AM

Don't think I would use that speaker much so the headphones from DailySteals is still a better deal IMO.

AyeTheTienSe 11-28-2012 11:54 AM

just got the BT headphones in the mail today from the newegg deal a couple days back. just plugged it in to charge it. i'll let you guys know later on tonight how it is

fastpakr 11-28-2012 12:01 PM

Mine were well charged out of the box. Used them for an hour or two before throwing them on the charger (and I don't actually know they needed it then).

pinoyingarland 11-28-2012 12:12 PM

thanks op. I was going to get the headset (late from the original deal for $20) but was not in time. I bought 2 - the wife had to buy a set under her profile because it wouldn't let me stack the promo on 2 items.

Emjay 11-28-2012 12:23 PM

Anyone know where the mic is on the Stereo Headphones?

It appears to be on the right side headphone, directly below the track advance button on the outside edge of the glossy plastic.

You don't have to get the bluetooth adapter. I used a $2.99 ethernet patch cable to get the price above $30, so it was $33.

For $13, I'll take the nice little speaker and not have to deal with Daily Steals. I'm sure I'll get this faster from BlueRigger/Amazon and I'm much more confident ordering from them.

dealboy12 11-28-2012 12:38 PM

Great deal if you don't have a BT dongle already. Headphones at $20 and dongle at $15 leave the speaker only costing a few bucks. If I didn already get mine for $20 I'd be all over this.

I tested them out today and they are awesome!

Chahsewbow 11-28-2012 12:42 PM

So the Kinivo BTH220 headphones uses Bluetooth 2.1 and the USB dongle is equipped for Bluetooth 4.0. Does that mean the bandwidth will reduced to BT 2.1 when paired? I'm new to the BT headphone technology but I assume the greater the bandwidth, the better the audio sound?

Just curious but any input would be greatly appreciated!

jleonard711 11-28-2012 12:44 PM

Damn, I'm trying to order this with the BTH360S instead of the BTH220, but when I do that I am losing the 50% discount on the bluetooth dongle. Anyone else having that problem? It says to get the 50% discount on the dongle you just need to buy one or more items from BlueRigger, and both of those headsets are, so why would the $7.50 discount on the dongle be disappearing?

silliness 11-28-2012 01:00 PM

Grabbed it for my brother. He has been wanting wireless headphones for awhile. Thanks, OP.

Giatros89 11-28-2012 01:04 PM

If you already have bluetooth on your laptop is there a good alternative to a Bluetooth headphone with a deal?

$37.44 for me as well. I already ordered them for $20 last week and need a BT adapter, so I figured I'd order this combo, get the speaker almost free, and give the headphones to a friend for xmas or keep them as a second pair.

Sweet deal! :)

Clear your cart and try again, you should see an additional discount. Its odd because I saw the difference as a "Promotional Credit" when I was at the credit card selection stage so that is what dropped the total down.

You're correct!

I have a balance by them but purchasing this item for my school and didnt want to use my credit balance, so selected the CC option. Looked at my credit balance and saw that $18+ promo added! Thanks!

Woot !! Great deal ... spent my amazon $ from Bing searches and credit card points. I don't need that speaker but I think I know where to sell it.

slickgrapes 11-28-2012 02:44 PM

Original poster here....i bought this combo set a couple months back. There was a similar deal but the bonus item was a clip-on laptop speaker.

A friend uses these on her runs/jogs and says they work great. Very light weight and comfortable (shes runs for about an hour or two every couple days). She says they have never cut-out and they don't show any signs of wear yet, although it has only been 2 months.

I ended up selling the blue tooth adapter and laptop speaker about a month ago and after fees I ended up only paying about 3 dollars for the headphones for her. You could do something similar here if you wanted, although this deal was about 6 dollar more total.

davemoosehead 11-28-2012 04:40 PM

I did this deal (thanks to the poster in the other thread), but got an HDMI cord instead of the bluetooth adapter since I have no use for it.

Great deal.

ryguy5034 11-28-2012 06:47 PM

I just tried to order this, but when I entered the promo code it said "this code cannot be applied to your order". I tried in both Chrome and IE. Did any else have this problem? I'd really like to get this but it won't work for me.

netringer 11-29-2012 11:28 AM

I bought them all, even though I won't need the dongle. I cna laways use the headphones and the speaker.

I also bought the 2 HDMI cables for $4.99!

Good deal! Thanks, OP!

tzweelz 11-29-2012 12:25 PM

Finally pulled the trigger on these 3 items together. I have been watching them all week; based on the numerous positive reviews I don't think I will find better quality at a better bundled price (especially with Amazon service).

To add, I am parting them out, so now I have 3 stocking stuffer gifts for 3 different people = easy for me :)

Thanks OP

dealboy12 11-29-2012 12:38 PM

Been using the headphones with my iphone all day on business, these things are AWESOME! I've asked a few people how I sounded, and they all said great. If a person is on speaker phone or their bluetooth in the car they said it sounds like I too am on speakerphone, but if the person is on their phone they can't even tell i'm on a head set.

I tested these things leaving my phone at my desk and walking around the house, and then outside to get the mail and they only started to drop when I was outside and I didn't expect them to go half that far. These head phones are sweet!

Diambo 11-29-2012 12:48 PM

I bought the bundle, wireless headphones, free wired buds and the bluetooth dongle for like $2. The wired headphones were uncomfortable and had horrible sound quality. The wireless headphones were completely useless to me. They are shaped oddly so if you don't have a watermelon sized head it probably won't fit you correctly. The frame/bar is think and never positions correctly behind your years or on your neck. The sound is subpar and the battery life was non-existant. I ended up giving them away and gave the wired headphones to my 4 year old son to tear up. The only thing I found of use was the bluetooth dongle. The drivers they sent with it were outdated so I just plugged the dongle in and let Microsoft Update find the correct drivers and software and it works perfectly. It also works with linux (Ubuntu, LinuxMint) so that was a bonus.

So in closing I would say skip this deal and go with the LG HBS-700 which is what I bought 2 days after I got the Kinivo crap.

bighonker 11-30-2012 09:46 AM

I bought this headphone and adapter on a different deal. Kinivo recommends fully charging and discharging it 3 times. I'm on the third cycle, but the battery has lasted nearly 24 hours before it runs down, playing all the time.
The headset just fits me (6'4" 220lbs) and is very comfortable. Very light and sounds good. I have paired it to my cell phone and to my Dish receiver, works fine. I don't know what Lusion is talking about, I highly recommend this headphone.

briancr 11-30-2012 10:22 AM

I purchased their products from a previous bundle, I use the headset and BT adapter all the time (right this moment). My bundle came with laptop speaker instead of the portable speaker and was promptly grabbed by my daughter - works better than the internal speakers on her laptop.

I also have the LG BT HBS700 headphones and I like the Kinivo better.

Just pulled the trigger on another - probably will be a gift for my wife.

Newmy 11-30-2012 05:15 PM

I have a Panasonic plasma television and Pioneer receiver, neither of which have bluetooth capability (although the television is connect to my wireless network). Is there any way to hook up this USB adapter to either device so I can listen to the television via these headphones? I know Pioneer sells an expensive Bluetooth adapter (that is not USB-based), but I'd prefer to not drop $75 on that device if I can make these components work. Rep to anyone who can help!

You can pay $25 and up for a transmitter. This one at Amazon [amazon.com] has pretty good reviews.

Emjay 12-01-2012 03:10 PM

I can not find the driver for the dongle. Anyone have a link for the BT dongle driver?

bardwso 12-02-2012 05:44 PM

As of Sunday-12/2/12 offer is still up on Amazon. I added and returned to the main product page to get the bundle. Code was applied automatically without entering.

Hope this helps

davemoosehead 12-04-2012 05:54 PM

Just got my order today, and I can't say I like these headphones. They don't fit me right. Pinches my big ears, and is too loose on my head.

How do returns work on package deals like these? Do I have to return my whole order?

Bomber18 12-04-2012 07:34 PM

My headphones are defective and don't hold a charge at all and I confirmed I was able to refund them for the full price of $29.95. Not sure if it's any different if you're just unhappy with the product though.

twix1tup 12-10-2012 09:12 PM

FYI, this deal is still good as of this post.
