Code: MOVERL for $5 off of $25 if you purchase 2 and use the rebate for 1. Total comes to $5 and change per tire pump. This is especially applicable for those of us with, "2 vehicle" families / wife / significant other to place in their car. Good luck! Rebate not valid in Puerto Rico, RI, or CT. Rebate limit is one per name, address, household. Quote:
NO UPC requested, HOWEVER they ask you submit your ORIGINAL TrueValue store receipt. MOVERL $5 off $25 |
I have essentially the same model, mine has a flashlight on it as well. This thing is SLOW. Not bad for bikes or motorcycles, probably OK for sedans, would not recomend it for big SUV or truck tires unless you have some time to sit there. With that said, it is pretty decent and if you don't mind rebates toss it in your car and forget about it until you need it.

LOL, when you are stranded on side of road with flat, you seem to have hours to wait for a service truck to come get you |
These things are fantastic to keep in the car. Not the fastest in the world, but just a great, no-nonsense pump and gauge the gets the job done, works anywhere, and is reliable (just topped up all four tires on my sedan with this over the weekend). I'll have to pick up a second to keep around.
|
Think about it this way, you can buy a plug kit for under $5 at walmart orunder $3 if you have a harbor freight near you. combine that with this for $0.90 and you have your roadside assistance package.
|
This would be pretty safe for a bike tire (not that i even know how much is supposed to go into a bike tire :-/ )?
|
Can't go wrong for FAR item.
|
cant go wrong with FAR in for one
|
what rebate?please please.
sorry i juste wake up. |
thanks, my harbor freight one just melted at the plug
|
Thanks.
|
If you can find something for another $15, you can you their 5 off 30 coupon. Any other FAR items?

Rep+ TU for OP! LOL just realized that this is 12V ONLY. Oh well free is free! |
Great freebie! Got one.
Thank you OP! Repped! |
Just something to keep in mind, but as someone who has worked in the tire industry at one point in his life, these things are terrible. From customers that came in, it was about a 50% chance it will fail in the first mile, and that's perhaps giving it a bit more credit than it's due. It is also an extreme PITA to clean out when you do get that tire to the repair shop, and we always charged the customer extra (company policy) if they used this type of junk. It coats the inside of the tire in a plasma type material and makes it extremely difficult to get off from the inside when you have to use an actual tire patch and blue glue.
Anyway, just a heads up. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone, even free. Just check your spare tire once a year and make sure it's filled and you should be fine. |
my slime inflator (without the gauge) gets VERY hot after a few minutes of use.
i'm scared to let it go for 2-3 minutes in fear of it melting. |
In for one shipped to the store just down the street! Will be great to have when we take the Kawasaki Mule hunting up north. Always seem to get a little low after a week of heavy use.
|
I don't live near a store. Any free shipping available?
|
"Offer not valid in RI" Weird..lol
|
I have the same model from amazon. it works well for regular sedans and bikes. it's slow, takes few minutes to get one tire. But it gets the job done. Since there isn't much free air in most gas station, its good to have one in the trunk.
|
I like this if you can find a store near you.
|
Quote:
Umm this does not inject the tire with that nasty tire slime. It is just a SLIME brand inflator. But good advice in general on using that stuff. |

In for one as well. Odd that the rebate form doesn't require a UPC cutout. I guess I'll include it anyway just to be safe.
|
Just a heads up for some: "Offer not valid in CT, RI or Puerto Rico."

in for 1. There is only one free air machine in my area. Hate paying for air. Will work well with my sub-compact car Prizm. Thanks and repped!
|
Got one!! Like said earlier, buy a tire plug kit and a needle nose pliers and you have your own tire plug service anywhere you travel. Its very easy to plug a tire :)
|
I had different brand of similiar product. Good for emergency if you cant find gas station nearby. Yeah it will pump the air slowly but not like an hour. Probably 5-10 minutes depending of how much air you need to inflat the tire.
|
use discover for 5% category bonus. 75 cents will make up for yesterday's 53 cents cable that may end up being 6 inches, for those who know what I am referring to.
Edit: Taxes! OK nvm |

If anyone wants a good tire pump check out the Viair. It's $44 but it's top-shelf - remember you get what you pay for.

You guys just brought our site down. Please stop. We only have two serves and are not set up for all of this traffic. This is exactly why we would not let you post our Black Friday ad!
|
BTW - make sure your car can handle a 15 AMP draw from the cigarette lighter jack. This pump will not work if you car cant do 15 amps. Also, there is no wall plug. You have to plug it into your car's lighter jack. Dont forget to rep for saving you time and money!

Darn, was just about to finish setting up account when I lost net access for a minute. Got it back, and now can't load the page. Urg!

Most people don't experience catastrophic blowouts. A slow leak can strand your car in a parking lot. It happened to me at a hotel, at work, and at school. And at home, too, fwiw. You can reinflate a tire with a slow leak and drive it to get repaired, or fix it yourself with a five dollar patch kit. 7-11 and gas stations even carry a kit. |
Got one. Thanks!
|
Ended up with 12 in the cart after a long delay.... then found out no stores in the area.
|
I bought one of these a couple months ago from Kmart for $12. It came with a tube of Slime. The compressor works but its very slow. I ended up giving it away and buying one of these Husky compressors
http://www.homedepot.com/h_d1/N-2...LYvyE2PWtI . Its 3 times as fast, quieter, and more reliable imo. Well worth it when needed. |
Got 1. Thanks!!!

was in for 2 (i have rental properties).
they are in my cart, i went to checkout then the site crashed again. COME ON.... |
Finally got through. Just kept refreshing. .90 tax but figured hubby would like for .90 cents lol if not can always gift it.
|
Anybody else have to pay sales tax? I had to pay a whole $1.25 for this thing!
|
Got one just now. I have one already and I have been pleased with it. It's great for filling up bike tires and for keeping my car's tires properly inflated if they are a bit low. Paying for air is bull.
This one will be a nice, practical Christmas gift. |
This thing is a POS... I bought one last month, and the stupid thing is leaking air somehow after a week!! I only used it 2 times total before it developed a random leak, returned it... i guess its fine if its free lol
|
Got one!
Thanks, OP |
those of you on near dial up speed connections are bogging down their basement computer.
|
Got it :)
but anyone got good filler suggestion for 5 off 25? |
Had to refresh for about 4 to 5 minutes but finally got in and then had no problem. In for one. Bought another item to get over $30 to use their $5 coupon too. Couple of smaller Christmas gifts checked off now...

We had one of these but my kids have lost all the needles. We use them often to refill footballs, basketballs, etc. Even if I never inflate a tire we can use this :) $1.20 in tax here. |

Amazon review:
http://www.amazon.com/review/R2TR...hisHelpful This tire inflator was made 15 yrs ago..... |
I live in VA, but I am from CT originally. I am heading back to CT for the holidays and have a store that i can ship to there right next to where ill be. I understand this offer is void in CT. If I pick it up from a CT store does that make it void if I supply a VA address on the rebate form?
Also I will be back in CT and can pick it up on Dec 21st. Is that too late for the rebate and will they hold it for me until then? The nearest truvalue is in the city for me and I don't want to pay for parking just to pick up the tire inflator. |
A dingo ate the site.

So... you could get the rebate and sell it as brand new? Or even return it? Edit: just saw someone above me noticed this too. Doesn't mean we would, just pointing out something unusual and a potentially expensive oversight for the company. |
I'm buying air pump plus $11 surge protector - $5 code MOVERL. comes to 22.85 with tax with $15 rebate. SLICK!

Nobody who has commented so far must own one of these things.
As it says, it may take 8 minutes to inflate a tire. What it doesn't say is that after it runs for 8 minutes and gets so hot you could fry an egg on it, it automatically shuts off for the next 15 minutes. I had a Coleman pump that ran forever - enough time to fill all four tires - that was noisy, vibrated, and got warm but that worked for almost 20 years. It just died so I replaced it with this. First problem, it blew the fuse on the car lighter (10 amps) immediately. Then I discovered the other problems on the truck lighter (20 amps). This thing is not worth having - even free. |
People who are thinking of going to the store to get one. I dont think they would be available. I went to the store now, was able to pick the last piece(kept aside by the associate for himself) in the store.
So you better order online. |
