To Answer Common Questions:
1) TigerDirect operates on Eastern Standard Time... so it is okay to order now (no matter where in the US you are located). Your order invoice will show the correct date to qualify you for the $10 rebate (12/03/12).

2) The Rebate Instructions are Live Now. The Rebate Registration Form on 4MyRebate.com will not be live until around 5 AM EST on 12/03/12.

Until then, it will say "Offer Code Not Found".

3) The Rebate Limit is:
Limit Two (2) rebates per qualifying rebate offer, per person, billing address, company, or household

No, you can purchase 2 on one order and submit one rebate registration form.

Your total payout will be $20.00.

If you submit 2 separate orders, you will have to do 2 rebate registration forms and send them in separate envelopes, doubling postage.

Trust me, there won't be any confusion when the rebate registration form goes live at 5 AM EST.

It will say maximum of 2 claims per household (total payout $20.00).

Glad you scored some though! :)

Yeah, one rebate offer per envelope. However, you can make multiple claims on some offers, like this one.

If you purchased 2 on one invoice, you would only need to submit the following:
1 signed & dated rebate registration form, 2 UPC codes, and 1 copy of your invoice.

You could put everything in one envelope and only have to pay postage 1 time.

brainyasian 12-02-2012 09:24 PM

Got some last time. These work well enough for free but produce "popping noises" when the rubber pops around in the ear.

time to use my inner circle free shipping for the 2nd time!!! already paying for itself

these will make good stocking stuffers for parents... for me they will be part of my xmas toy donations to kids xmas gift giveaway programs... toys for tots and those kinds of programs...

I also just got the confirmation on them receiving my paperwork for the last rebate offer for these headphones...6 headphones on the same order and all in one envelope... 66 bucks coming back my way!

and I only sent a copy of the UPCs as per the rebate form

my only ? is are they going to add more colors in a few hours etc... so I can just put them all on one order and not waste TDs shipping boxes, etc....

if you notice he posts a lot of FAR & AR deals for other places as well.. This rebate allows for copies, so just send a copy. Easier to give as a gift with UPC in tact. Make sure the upc is clear if it is a copy, the rebate house scanning sucks and you may run into issues of denying the rebate if it isn't clear to them.

Where does it say one rebate?

Right on the product page, it says one rebate per household. Good call Vic. So, which is it?

Didn't say it was rocket science. Most of this forum's deals are stolen from other deal sites like urlhasbeenblockeds and obese wallet. It doesn't matter where it comes from but the guy's name indicates he works for TD.

I'm correct, TigerDirect's product page is wrong.

If you look at the rebate instruction form:
LINK [highspeedbackbone.net]

Look at Line 3 of the fine print.

Limit Two (2) rebates per qualifying rebate offer, per person, billing address, company, household and receipt/invoice/packing slip during the eligibility period.

There's a difference between "rebate offer" and the maximum # of claims. It's easy to get the two mixed up, and sometimes TigerDirect's automated rebate system messes it up on the product page. It did the same thing the last time I posted the Logitech UE100's, and it did it on the iBlink earbuds too.

You will be able to verify that you can submit a maximum of 2 claims per household on this rebate offer at 5 AM EST tomorrow when the rebate registration form is up on 4MyRebate.com.

KyleMittskus 12-02-2012 10:11 PM

Will these sell out or can I grab them in about 12 hours?

Thanks for clearing that up. I can confirm that the rebate form does state the rebate limit is 2 per household.

As of this point in time, my opinion is that the TigerDirect page listing 1 rebate per household is incorrect.

You can join the inner circle to get free shipping. Even with shipping, they are pretty good for $2 headphones, sound wise. The style leaves much to be desired, but that is personal preference.

I only did inner circle bc it was 29.99 the other day and figured that if I do 15 FAR items with TD it pays for itself... and if I sell 2 TD FAR bags on CL it easily pays for it (they have had 20 bags or so in the last year I think FAR and they are decent quality so 10-15 bucks easy IMO)

I came here to ask abt this.. after printing my tracking number page I saw it says * copy of UPC ... so want to be 100% sure..
:thanks: for the confirmation. :repped:

5% disc shop, don't forget:):)

mwxo3 12-03-2012 10:38 AM

Makes it worth it with 5% disc TD + 5% disc online shopping.

The Product Link says "Ends 12/03/2012. See Terms. Restrictions Apply. NOTICE: Limit (1) ONE rebate per person, billing address, company, or household" but limit 2 per customer. Is that mean we can get 2 but only one is eligible for rebate?

Awesome! Repped!

newhunter 12-03-2012 11:17 AM

got similar deal last time on UE200, but this model suppose to be inferior version.
UE200 is fine product but it kinda in the border between good and not so good. So, I'm not expecting this one going to be nice set if you prefer sound quality.

Tigerdirect is selling on ebay with Free shipping.
Can one buy from ebay via TigerDirect (free shipping) and still be eligible for rebate?

Unfortunately not it seems. Rebate states:
Only valid on purchases made at: • CircuitCity.com • CompUSA.com Website • GlobalComputer.com • TigerDirect.com Website

1 order with 2 bought and paid for, when you register the rebate it will give an option to change the number to 2.. you will no see it will say rebate of 20... submit, print and send it in with a copy or the original UPCs... I did a copy of 6 all on one scan/print and sent it in for the last deal bc it said copies... got my confirm email just a few days ago......

Really need some earbuds but a bit suspicious about MIR's in general......

ricepicker06 12-03-2012 04:07 PM

Yeah, I think the biggest thing is that it takes 8 to 10 weeks usually to get any sort of money. And even then, its usually in the form of some prepaid card mailed to you rather than hard cash. On top of that, rebate forms get rejected every once inawhile. Sometimes nothing comes in the mail, which is the worst.

I definitely don't have the stomach or time to jump on every rebate deal, but it mostly works.

Never had that problem with 4MyRebate. In fact, the usual turn around time lately is about 4 weeks from the date you mail it in.

agshopper 12-03-2012 06:06 PM

it says 7.29 shipping and 1.25 sales tax.. is there a code i'm supposed to put in for the 1.99 shipping?

Econo Shipping is only available for residential addresses.

If your address has two lines (i.e. apartments, etc), try putting it all on one line.

The system automatically thinks that multi-line addresses are businesses, for whatever reason.

You know, I ended up getting two pairs since of how badly I needed some good earbuds. These will probably supplant a decent pair of IEMs, probably as a pair for the gym or something.

It's also heartening that we have a TD expert on this deal, so that's encouraging.

slcty 12-03-2012 08:39 PM

I bought a pair of these last time around and they arrived defective. I think I'll sit this one out.

S3420 12-03-2012 08:53 PM

i got my amex rebate card from the last ultimate ears FP today!

don't worry about the rebate on this one, just wish they were free shipping or i'd get another pair

silverkitsune27 12-03-2012 09:28 PM

If TigerDitect operates on eastern time but I'm on the west coast, will the rebate still work if I purchase now at 9:30pm Pacific Time?

arpitp 12-03-2012 10:19 PM

Got these last time. Came defective. (One earpiece didn't work. Other one had really poor sound quality)
Called TD. They sent another. Also defective (same problem).

Called Logitech. They're replacing with UE200s, which are decent entry IEMs (and about 100x better than the UE100s, which I would equate to dollar store earbuds).

azylstra 12-03-2012 10:19 PM

No, it will not work for you. With TD everything is based on their time (EST) no matter where you are.

cgigate 12-06-2012 09:32 PM

received today and filled the online rebate form, it requires the "copy of UPC", not original UPC cut off.
All original UPC cut off will be rejected as previous Logitech rebate

ricepicker06 12-08-2012 08:22 AM

my rebate wont recognize my tracking number???? what do i do?

dato77 12-09-2012 12:57 PM

do they need 2 identical copies of UPC for two items?

It's always better to send off 2 separate rebates, hence the 2 copies.

ok-speed 12-14-2012 03:56 PM

Ordered on 12/3, just arrived in the mail yesterday, and wouldn't you know it, the rebate is no longer there when you click the link on 4myrebate. Shady deal, should have passed.

Attera 01-09-2013 09:45 AM

My rebate got rejected and I'm trying to get through to them now to resolve it. Figures.

Cielo1 01-11-2013 01:55 PM

I just got a rejection email today too. It said I didn't include a copy of my invoice, but I had stapled a copy of my email receipt. Any idea what they wanted instead? The packing slip?

rlhh 01-16-2013 07:28 AM

Anyone receiving an error on the rebate?
- Original UPC Barcode Label (#097855074485) (Not the shipping label barcode) is missing

I even cut out the barcode on the box and attached it to the rebate form.
