Good deal. Anyone know what models Costco carries in store and how much they are?

Thanks OP>

I just bought it and used facebook promotion to bring it down to $65...not sure if this is the BEST deal or not...

I got a Panasonic KX-TG7623B with Bluetooth Link-to-cell for $49 at Fry's B&M yesterday. It's not as nice as the one listed, but it has 3 handsets.

Really nice phone. I got them on Black Friday.

Can multiple handsets be used at the same time?

My parents have a 5 handset cordless phone system, but if one handset is in use, you cannot use one of the others to join the conversation. I find this to be very strange, but maybe this is normal for these DECT phones?

In case multiple handsets, only one call can be made/received at a time. You can transfer calls within handsets etc.

I have this phone. Multiple handsets can be picked up to join and participate in a single call. You can disable this by turning the Call Sharing setting off (I bet your parents' phone has a similar setting).

They only want one call! I Asked if they can use two handsets at once on the same call. You know back in the day when we all had phones with cords and Grandpa called and everyone in the family picked up a different phone in a different room so we could all talk to Grandpa in Florida at the same time like we were in the same room.

Thanks for the tip, I will try that the next time I'm in town. I don't know if I can talk them through that over the phone. Repped.

Can I run google voice or some free calling app and use it to call for free within US?

I have a spare Galaxy s2 and HP Touchpad in my home.

Amazon sold out at $69.99. The new price is 3rd party.

peppermint 12-05-2012 09:44 PM

thanks

I have this. It's not that great. I ended up going back to an older version without the BT link.
interface just got worse and the dialing is very slow.

for the price, its decent enough.

I own the one from Costco, KX-TG7731, decent execution (better than the two previous versions I tried and had to return). Won't improve your cell phone reception overall and works best with phone close by for good bluetooth connection, otherwise makes it convenient to switch between regular phone line and cell from same handset

netghoster 12-05-2012 11:30 PM

it's $99 now
