Nice, in for a set at $22 with FB promo! Sure beat Phineas and Ferb that the kids always watch. I loved these books as I thought they were a fun educational series.

Yes, I've watched it and now my kids watch them. But that doesn't mean $26 is a good price, let alone frontpage slick deal . May be $10.

It's an "8-DVD set containing all 52 episodes." So that's less than $3.38 per dvd...

I remember watching this when I was a kid. I'm just wondering if the science they teach here is up to date.

Just a few things out of date but for the most part like the Pluto episode, most of the stuff are still relevant.

Also, how's the quality of the cartoon? Has it been remastered to HD 720/1080p level or still the 360/480p?

I watched on my 39" 1080p TV and the quality is very good. I don't see pixelations, if that helps. I would think it's at least 720p.

Nope. I think it's a dwarf star now or something. It was a planet until they redefine what was a planet.

This is NOT pron. There're distributor fee, copyright fee, so on so forth. And just like pron, you get what you paid for. For $10, you will most likely get fat and old babes. Don't expect the top quality cream of crop!

I ordered one set from Target when the price was at $30. The quality is the same as those very old shows I taped on VHS.

Maybe my TV is too big, a Pana 55". But the quality is definitely the early 1990's kinda quality.

I stand corrected then. Though, I would argue that taking into its style of animation, the requirements for good quality is pretty low in terms of resolution.
