Surprised this isnt getting more traffic, given the past record of this price being slick.

I picked up the 55 inch version of this tv for $799 from Walmart ....still in the box for now.

Actually I have the 4700 and not the 4600.

yoshimra 12-19-2012 09:02 PM

what? no blue ray player? pffft.

chuckd 12-19-2012 10:26 PM

This doesn't seem 'hot' anymore, it's this price or less every other week or so. The glasses are worth about $4. Waiting for this set to come with a player or something else I can give away next week.

Very pleased with this tv. Got this through fry's a couple of weeks ago. Beautiful picture.

IMPORTANT: Though it says 120hz, this is the "fake" 120hz. It does not have the soap opera effect that people are looking for (or trying to avoid). The panel they use is a 60hz panel. Still I think this tv is beautiful. No ghosting or bleeding.

Haven't done any gaming on it yet, but have hooked up a PC to it. No problems through HDMI. Also, the 2D to 3D conversion that it does is kind of cool. Works much better than you would think. Still not as good as the actual 3D, but works well for just regular TV watching.
