Experience with GetPeyd.com?
Has anyone had experience with GetPeyd.com? A friend recommended it for selling credit card points, but I'm curious if anyone else has had experience, or even heard about them. Thanks.

Looks like it was designed by a 7 year old - legit

looks legit to me. I always do business with websites that have misspellings in the name.

Well, I went for it. I got a check today, about a week after I sold the miles. They paid $1,375 for 110k United miles (that's 1.25 cents per mile.) It actually went well, they were easy to work with, and they paid decently and quickly.

Description We are a company founded by four lifelong friends from the Jewish community in New York. Our company name is ‘Get PEYD’ and our PEYD logo represents the first name of each of the partners, Pinny Ackerman, Eli Schreiber, Yaakov Portnoy, and Dudi Akerman. Our mantra is to help our customers navigate the credit card industry by advising them on all credit card related matters and providing our customers value through the redemption of rewards points associated with the various reward programs. |
how do they transfer the miles? Rewards2cash basically makes you buy airline tickets and according to the site takes months for full payment (although they are very reputable).
|
I sold my entire account, they asked me for the pertinent information, and then bought tickets with the miles. I had to forward the confirmation emails, but that's about it.

I bough miles from Get Peyd. It was a smooth and efficient transaction and the guys were really pleasant to deal with.

Update: They apologized. Said that they recently changed their policies and that it was not reflected in the initial communication. |
This site sounds more laughable than that con artist Bruce. Getpeyd? Owner must have taken spelling classes with Lil Wayne.

My guess is that you buy points also and are just looking to know all the other people/places that do also. |
i dont know i just asked bruce flighthunter person about american express points and he tried ripping me off with an offer of 1.3. Not sure how everyone else works but trying to rip people off by starting with a low ball offer. Why dont they have the price they pay at the time? I know prices fluctuate all the time, but you have to have a set price you pay?? was not very happy.
Sorry |
david = getpeyd?

This whole thread screams scam. All the "positive" reviews are accounts with low post counts.
|
I always get paid for my points before I release them. No potential for getting scammed.

For the record, I used getpeyd and got the check within a week. I got 1.4 cents per Amex point.
