Looks like Amazon is getting ready for the New Year Fitness Rush! Both Games are at the lowest Amazon price ever according to CamelCamelCamel!

Your Shape Fitness

Nike + Kinect Training

http://www.amazon.com/Nike-Kinect...ike+kinect

(Technically Best Buy is cheaper at $39.99 http://www.bestbuy.com/site/NIKE%...8690801380 but for me if you add in the local sales tax at BB the amazon price is about $1.50 cheaper)

Also Best Buy is offering $50 off the Nike Sport Watch if you buy the Nike Kinect Game from them too (http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspa...e=category) maybe if the watch price drops on amazon there will be a chance to price match and get the $50 off too but for now both sites have the watches at about $150

Now get to sweatin'! :)

I would consider Best Buy's price to be cheaper than Amazon's by a bit in California after taxes.

JPR 12-30-2012 07:13 AM

I've been waiting for the price to drop to $20 for Your Shape 2012 for a couple weeks, but I'm still hoping it'll drop in time for New Year's on Xbox.com so that I can get the downloadable version and not deal with the disc. It's $30 now, but it would make sense to be the last of the countdown to new year's deals for new year's resolutions.

Figure in the cost of gas to drive to/from store and your time standing in line, etc. probably then leaning towards Amazon :)

luxmn 12-30-2012 07:32 AM

Got the fitness in time for new year :D. Now waiting for zumba core to drop to 20 so can buy for the wifey. Thanks OP.

SirLinux 12-30-2012 07:51 AM

Thanks. My wife really liked the Your Shape fitness program when I got it earlier in the year. Unfortunately one of the kids left her disk out on the floor and the dog had at it Been waiting for it to go back to this price.

Who said you have to buy in store? You get it from bestbuy.com as well.

Gah I wish I bought Your Shape from Microsoft's online store for $10 on black friday! At the time, I didn't want another game to just sit around and not get played with like all my other kinect games

MollyMcButter 12-30-2012 12:13 PM

I'm kicking myself for not buying more games on BF for $10 too! Just picked this one up at $20, and can't wait to get it. I've eaten way too many Christmas cookies!

Hansee 12-30-2012 12:29 PM

A great game !!

I grabbed it for $10 on BF and also really regret not grabbing other stuff like Zumba and the Pixar game. At the time I had no idea how great of a deal the MS store sale was, since it is my first xbox. I really hope they have another $10 sale before BF2013, but if not then I guess next year I'll buy everything and think later.

Its a great workout exercise game....(The Your Shape), but if you're kinda vain about your body....be in for the surprise that it shows you throughout the workouts

I've never been a fan of being recorded

BUT....after the screen telling me I was doing stuff wrong for the 5th time....you start to notice that you probably should look at yourself while working out to make sure you're efficiently doing it

....Still not a fan of some of the kinect stuff that records you acting like a damn fool though

sam007 12-30-2012 01:57 PM

Just bought the Your Shape game yesterday from Best Buy for 29.99. Now on the call with them for 20+ minutes trying to price match it. Driving down to BB and returning it might had been faster :-)

Finally after 39 minutes, got the credit.

YSFE records your stats but no video of you. Not to mention your image is turned into a barely recognizable slightly blobby monochrome version of yourself.

Abbas82 12-30-2012 04:51 PM

I unfortunately picked up Your Shape Fitness from Newegg for $27.99 about a week ago :(...It was ~$43 on Amazon at the time

slr904 12-30-2012 05:42 PM

how does this compare to your shape that launched with kinect?

reicaden 12-30-2012 05:45 PM

i need a deal on the bundle though, damn :(

JPR 12-30-2012 06:36 PM

I think for $10 more the downloadable xbox.com version is worth it instead of swapping discs out. Especially if you and other people will be using it every day.

Can you explain this better? Are you not able to save the game to the console like with other games? Is there more than one disc or is this game linked to one account? Thanks!

Even if you save the game to the console (legally), you still need to put the disc in to use it. But I would never justify the convenience of not having to put the disc in as worth more than having the physical disc you own and not lose the rights to somehow down the line, and can sell it. That's the first I've heard someone say that. And saying you're too lazy to even put in the disc to use a fitness game, that's a bad start already.

JPR 12-30-2012 09:30 PM

If you buy the disc you can install it, but the Xbox always needs the disc to verify you own it each time you want to use it. If you buy it on xbox.com you can just choose the downloaded software and leave any other disc in you happen to have. So say you're playing Black Ops II, and then you want to do some exercise. Normally you have to take out Black Ops II, then put it in Fitness Evolved. When you're done you have to swap them again. While if you bought the Fitness download you can just choose Fitness Evolved on the game menu, and go back to Black Ops II later without touching a disc. Fitness programs are in a special category of where it is likely that you alternate use alongside games during a year or until you find a better workout program, and one the wife is likely to use as well, so double the use. While a game is something you are more likely to stop using after a while, so the benefit of having the download version isn't so important. Another concern I have is that I had a game I put temporarily on the tv stand and it picked up some kind of dust that scratched a ring around it after putting the disc in, perhaps a metal shard. Now it's unreadable. Each time you swap the discs you risk it getting scratched. The main problem here is that the download version costs more than the disc, and is non-transferable. So, it's only worth it if you don't plan to sell it.

This is still available at this price from Amazon in the "more buying choices" section but shipping is supposed to take 1 to 3 weeks now.

colosports 12-31-2012 04:03 AM

Got one. Click on "More Buying Choices" You will find the $19.99 price sold from Amazon. Usually ships within 1 - 3 weeks.

colosports 12-31-2012 04:15 AM

If you are interested in trying the Nike + Kinect Training for free.
There is a demo version available at:
http://marketplace.xbox.com/en-US...024d538a65

It will required 1.55 GB of space on your Xbox hard drive.

But just think of the extra 3 calories you will burn walking to the xbox to switch out the discs, lol!

Happy New Year everyone!

can't resist, in for 1, hopefully wifey will apprv :)

SebastienB 01-04-2013 12:34 PM

Just Dance 4 was giving me a good workout so I can only imagine what this will do. I just ordered one. Arrives Tuesday 8th!

Aslander 01-05-2013 05:50 AM

There is a seller listing this for cheaper - $6.99 + 4.95 shipping, so $11.94 total.
If you click on the sellers selling this, under 'New' there is a seller called Hour Discounts.

They must have multiples, because I just bought it and it is still listed as an option.

quaff 01-05-2013 06:15 AM

I suggest trying the demo of YSFE before buying - I found it to be too boring to keep me interested, versus like the dance games - I guess I just prefer more gamey type exercise environments.

rmc702 01-06-2013 12:56 PM

purchased the nike fitness game through amazon on dec 30, and it has yet to ship. I wonder whats going on? I see its no long available through amazon but third party sellers?

JPR 01-07-2013 10:41 PM

Fitness Evolved 2012 is still $20+tax at Amazon but you have to make sure you choose Amazon as the seller. Just thought I'd share that on xbox.com if you choose the buy with Microsoft points option it is 2400 points. If you buy the points at CrazyGameTime.net which is cited in another thread you can buy the points for $25.99 tax free. The points code price was lower with coupon before 12/31, but still cheaper than paying $29.99 + tax directly with a credit card on Xbox.com. I just bought it, so to me <$6 to not have to swap discs and have instant access to Fitness Evolved 2012 is worth it.
