good general mouse, I've had it for 2 years. Not sure if its just mine, but when the mouse is run along a straight edge, the cursor doesn't follow a straight path. It waves around.

HeathAU25 01-06-2013 01:14 PM

Good mouse. Ive been using it for over a year now and still haven't changed the batteries. Would highly recommend. Also regarding the previous post, ive never had straight edge problems.

?

This item doesn't show one of those "Hurry, only XX left" warnings. What is the basis of your low stock warning?

AgentNull 01-06-2013 03:41 PM

Good deal on a good mouse. Highly recommend it to those that can't stand small mice.

DJsDA 01-06-2013 03:44 PM

This mouse is excellent on lower resolutions/smaller screens (think netbooks or laptops). As a desktop gaming mouse, on a modern system with a larger display using 1920x1080 resolution, i'd go with something else.

When I ordered mine, it indicated only eight left in stock. Guess they upped their inventory since then so I will edit my post.

Did you read the warnings on the label? Do not use if under influence of alcohol or medication.

But no sales tax for me.

mea88f 01-06-2013 04:09 PM

I bought this item at Staples when it was on sale for around 16.99 + 15% off coupon, so I got it for roughly $13-14.
I returned the mouse after 4 days. It kept having either a lagging issue or the mouse wouldn't go where I wanted it to every once in awhile, which was pretty annoying.
Some of the amazon reviews talked about this. I went back to a wired mouse.
I love a lot of logitech products, but this one didn't sit right with me.
Just my experience with the item.

has more to do with the surface you're working on

No worries, I didn't know if there was some back door way to find out their stock on hand.

Requies 01-06-2013 05:03 PM

This isn't really that good of a deal.

I just got this mouse at Staples for $15 - 15% discount = $13.

Also, it was just $18 on Amazon yesterday. And it was previously $18 at Best Buy before the new year.

In other words, it's gone UP in price.

Yea, it's your surface. The problem with the low end logitech mouse is their cheap laser sensors. This one is no different. The MX performance for example works on any surface, even glass. So you do get what you pay for :D

Looks like Amazon isn't selling it right now (usually means they sold out) since only 3rd parties are listed.

mtgredline 01-06-2013 06:32 PM

Ordered from Best Buy. Thanks!

mike69k 01-06-2013 06:33 PM

This is a great mouse, I have had one for a couple years. It fits very nicely in my hand, and has never let me down. I am in for 2. Thank you.

P.S. I could only order blue from best buy. The black ones were sold out. When I went to finalize it was removed from my cart.

I'm using a dell XPS pad. It wasn't for laptop use.

What is the brand of your battery? How long does they run out?

Unreal89 01-06-2013 10:57 PM

I ran duracell's for the first 2 years with moderate usage. Replaced with the same...

Caeruleas 01-06-2013 11:05 PM

e: Oops, was thinking about another Logitech mouse and not the one in the OP.

wazlo21 01-07-2013 07:47 AM

I have one of these from a wireless keyboard/mouse combo and it is a good size and has performed very well. I have had a problem with the 'back' button recently where it has taken 2 presses to get it to go back though.

I'll probably contact Logitech support and let them know. They've been great in the past. 2 1/2 years into the 3 year warranty on my previous keyboard/mouse combo it gave up the ghost. Within 2 days I had a new combo that was a step up from the previous combo since it was no longer available.

jamesred21 01-07-2013 12:12 PM

Just got this mouse. It's jumpy, has some lag, and inaccurate. Much worse than my Logical MX Revolution which has a charging issue. I think it may be the new unified receiver or i need a new mouse pad. Will try to replace the mouse pad and report back.

Is your mouse pad white? This mouse has been known to act finicky on white surfaces.
