Oral-B Replacement Brush Heads: Precision Clean/Floss Action/Sensitive Care/Dual Clean 3 Count - $3.00 at Target B&M

2 Attachment(s)
Just came from my local Target and saw that these brush heads were on sale for $3.00!! Pretty good deal considering the fact that they are usually about $5.00 per piece. I managed to snag the last Floss Action pack and 3 of the Precision Clean ones.

On the Target [target.com] website, it is still listed as $15, so I'm guessing this is YMMV.

On Amazon [amazon.com], they range from $14 - $15.

Hope some of you can get this great deal as well. I've attached the receipt. :D

Yep, it was listed as a "Temporary Price Cut" and I put it under the price checker just to be sure.

Daddyofthree 01-13-2013 01:02 PM

Wow where was this at? Definitely something wrong in the price.

pmarin 01-13-2013 01:03 PM

Crazy deal! Sounds like "Temporary Price Mistake" to me -- but a lucky find if you can get it. I am used to Target clearance being very good but YMMV, but according to your receipt, it's not clearance. Even for a 1-pack $3 would be good.

Yea, I thought so too. The precision clean ones came with a "Pro-White" brush head so it's technically a 4 pack. However, the REAL 4 pack was like $30:lmao:.

Deal does not appy at my Target in VA

fanatik 01-13-2013 01:59 PM

Thanks op worked at my target in austin. Picked up 7 packs.

thiennhu 01-13-2013 02:25 PM

Great once in a lifetime deal. Just went to Target and bought 10. There are different model for sales also. Bought bonus pack 3+1 and it's only $3.

Grab them from regular section and go scan them to see if the price show up as $3.

I don't think the OP wants to share that, which is why it's blacked out in the pic. Nice find OP. You even beat the hoarders(JK) from the Target thread to this deal.:)

cybertlc 01-13-2013 03:19 PM

Confirmed in the Rochester, MN location. Went to both Target's and got 9 in one and 10 in another. All $3 a piece. Just as the poster said, they're not on an endcap (in with the normal priced heads) and it says TEMPORARY PRICE CUT.

yvette726 01-13-2013 03:19 PM

Awesome deal. Just bought 8 packs of them which will last me about 6 to 8 years lol

Awesome deal, cleaned out the store shelves at my target, someone beat me to it but was nice enough to leave me with enough to buy and save $275 :D which the cashier definitely noticed and congratulated me for!

tranxendz 01-13-2013 03:38 PM

Bought a bunch in MA. Most of the stock sold out at the Target I visited.

joecmeyer 01-13-2013 03:59 PM

Just got back from Target in Round Rock, TX. Deal is live there and was relatively untouched before I got there. There are probably still 10-15 packs left after I took 8.

Subtotal $24.00
Tax 8.25% on $24.00 = 1.98
Total 25.98

TOTAL SAVINGS = $153.42

Thanks OP! Super slick.

he.pennypacker 01-13-2013 04:23 PM

WOW, bought a bunch at the two Targets near me. BOTH stores had the temporary price cut labels on them signifying the 3 dollar price. One lady at the second store stopped her cart right in front of them, and was squinting to see the price on the sign, slightly confused and dumbfounded. She moves her cart so I can move in--I grab 5 packs and she goes "are they REALLY only 3 dollars each?" to which I said "yes! stock up while you can!" :woot:

Good times. Thank you so much OP, I wish I could rep you a bunch of times for this deal. :bounce:

I was just at the St. John, Indiana store...which I think would still be considered Chicagoland. They had a ton. They are clearly labelled $3 right on the sign and did come up correctly with no hassle. Use your Target Red card to save another 5%.

erpman 01-13-2013 04:30 PM

Price good in Cherry Hill, NJ. Correction, My wife went to the Voorhees store, not cherry hill. Left a few behind for Karma's sake.

betagreg 01-13-2013 04:30 PM

Got 33 assorted packs... very slick deal.
Will now be looking for a slick deal on a backup OB electric toothbrush...would hate for them to change the design on the brush with all these in stock and then not be able to use them:)

Just got home from loading up my Target in Lewisville, TX. I bought 10 and they had at least 8 more when I left. I couldn't justify buying more than 10...

I bought extras to use to clean the grout (my whole house is tiles floors). Electric tooth brush is nicer than scrubbing by hand and holds up better too.

Thanks OP! What a steal!

There are a lot of better options than that.

Anyway, got 5. Thanks op.
FYI, the price cut tag said valid: 1\13-1\19. Always bought the pro-white before. This seems to be a new type of packing (they used to come in a plastic package), so maybe this is actually from Oral-B and may be at other stores

nemodealer 01-13-2013 05:05 PM

Well, it IS a Sunday you know...a day which most people with real jobs have off. ;) I was at home browsing slickdeals as I usually do, and I literally ran out of the apartment when this thread only had 4 posts in it--bought half the supply at the store that I went to, and left some for the others. :look: (these are not going on ebay, I love my oral-b pro toothbrush)

But I do agree with you, I hate finding B&M deals here while I am at work. And I HATE ebay hoarders.

This deal isn't ruined, run over to your local target and snag a few packages while you still can.

I bought 4 at one store. Went to another, found 4 left for some reason on a shelve with $3 tag, but the $3 tag was not on the ones I grabbed. Brought to cashier, and was told there were two kind, the 'narrower' package. They all look the same to me. So I left.

Tsudanosh 01-13-2013 05:14 PM

dragonday 01-13-2013 05:24 PM

Must be a price error. Should be a temporary cut of $3.00 instead of final price of $3.00.

ItsTheFatKid 01-13-2013 05:26 PM

Perfect timing as I just opened up my last dual action brush clean a couple nights ago. I managed to get the last two packs of dual clean and three packs of precision clean brush heads for $15. There was no sign up for the brush heads in my Target but I checked with their price scanner and they were $3. Thanks for the sweet deal :)

Also, maybe I am just not familiar enough with Target but these brush heads were not with the toothbrushes. I originally left the store and tried to use the stock checker to find another store with the brush heads, but found that the store I was at supposedly had them. Then I noticed that there was a section number (G35) and when I went back in to the store I managed to find them. Thanks again op!

*edit*
The Pittsburgh Target I went to still has a ton of the other brush heads left btw. They are only out of the dual action, but I would say they probably have another 30+ packs of the other three types. PM me if you're in the Pittsburgh area and want to know which one I went to.

Yea I guess I'm just not used to Target's layout. I originally went to the aisle that contained manual toothbrushes, toothpaste, and some other electric toothbrushes and couldn't find them. I figured all that type of stuff would be together. I eventually found them in an aisle near the grocery section that had Oral B and Sonicare electric toothbrushes.

Fantastic deal! In for 11, total savings $221.89.

I don't have to worry about brushing for a long long time.

One location was sold out, and I bought the rest from another.

Hah, touché!

Regardless, I almost resorted to buying the brush heads from Sams Club because barring this deal, they had the lowest price for Oral-B replacement heads. I am glad I stumbled upon this deal today.

chance3349 01-13-2013 05:46 PM

I saw them in the target store and did a price check. Too bad it was not $3. So, came back home :(

Foladar 01-13-2013 05:46 PM

Anybody know if the Dual Clean is included? It's not mentioned in OP.

Bonustreats 01-13-2013 05:47 PM

Left about 10-15 on the shelf about 10 mins ago in East Hanover, NJ - someone scoop 'em up! Thanks a lot, OP!

juanh 01-13-2013 05:47 PM

I cleaned out the 3 stores near me in Fremont, CA. Bought about 30 mixed varieties. Not sure about the dual action ones, as I haven't tried them out yet, but I think that I would probably like the single head ones, as those are the ones that I'm using, and with them being smaller, then can probably get to the back teeth and clean behind the teeth better, but that's just my speculation. Anyone had good experience with the dual action heads?

Dolemite 01-13-2013 05:47 PM

Its all 3 pk heads. Someone grabbed all the floss ones but I got everything else.

uberdeal2 01-13-2013 05:48 PM

There were about 5 packages of the floss action left at the Woodridg, IL Target. They are placed on the wrong rack next to the ones on sale. Good Luck! Rep me if you get em!

TwistedRyders 01-13-2013 05:48 PM

They are all gone at the Target near my house.

Yes. One store was on sale, another not. Check with price scanner before wasting time in line at cashier. Read my earlier post in this thread for more inform.

they had a couple dual cleans at my store, snagged those for $3

I should have taken a pic of the sign...but it said

"temporary price cut

$3

From 1/13 - 1/19"

I think it's a huge mistake but w/e. The girl wouldn't stop saying "OMG YOU SAVED $100"!!!!

i thought about buying more but i'd just be wasting $$. I doubt the actual toothbrush will last that long.

And reselling? No thanks. I'd have to sell a LOT to net something worth all the effort.

I think that was a mistake. The cashier asked me "how many" and I said "7 of these and 4 of these."

The packages looked similar enough that I didn't even notice until you pointed it out!.

liighettoromeo 01-13-2013 05:56 PM

slammediam 01-13-2013 05:59 PM

Thanks OP. scored a bunch for personal use.

P.S. My store did give me a rain check for more.

nemodealer 01-13-2013 06:01 PM

Those who missed, there was nothing great. You can buy generic ones. They are as good as these ones. From personal experience 2 years back.

j0shua 01-13-2013 06:02 PM

Was surprised to see a shelf tag advertising the price cut for these. Grabbed a bunch, thanks OP!

pgub 01-13-2013 06:02 PM

My store has a couple precision bonus packs and dual actions left. Great deal!

dersimden 01-13-2013 06:04 PM

All 3-packs were gone in Somerville, MA. Scanned whatever Oral Bs left in the shelf and found one that rang $3.00 (SKU # 049110266) and picked up all six hanging there. They were all bonus packs with 3x precision clean + 1x prowhite. Really slick deal for $.80 a brush.

ee_engineer 01-13-2013 06:06 PM

hmm, people buying 10+, are they buying for whole families or just themselves, because if it is just for them, doing the math 10*4*3 = 120months = 10 YEARS (assuming precision clean + 1 bonus) , they will most likely throw the toothbrush away before they get though all them by which time, they will need different heads

Yeah. Bunch of resellers.

vnw98 01-13-2013 06:10 PM

Thanks op just loaded up. Got 10 boxes will hold me and the wife for a while. we replace these every 4 to 5 months but now can afford to replace them every 3 months. There was only 1 cross action pack left, and plenty of the other two kinds. Thanks OP

Edit: Now time to find a deal on replacement toothbrushes incase my current ones goes dead, before they change the design.

These are quite popular brushes and my house has 3, so 8 boxes would last 2 years. These toothbrushes seem to make FP often for $20-$50 so it wouldn't be that hard to stock up in case one of them breaks.

But I do agree with you, I hate finding B&M deals here while I am at work. And I HATE ebay hoarders.

This deal isn't ruined, run over to your local target and snag a few packages while you still can.

I ran out as soon As I saw it and got 8 packs. I was just saying the ones who buy 50 and leave none.

I bought 11. I don't plan on changing brushes for the rest of my life except for maybe the rechargeable battery inside.

This $1 for 1 brush head is a pretty much a once in a lifetime deal for me, so I'll be happy about not having to worry about brush heads for the next 10 years.

One incident made me hate resellers like hell: I listed few stuff to sell for free and wrote that get it from me only if you need it. Not for reselling. People got stuff from me and listed in craiglist for money. I wanted to help some people who actually needed stuff. Not these scumbag resellers.

I just went to the Target in Highland Park, IL. There were no signs indicating a price cut, just it's original price. But I went to the price checker and everything showed up as $3. I left a couple and did some shopping and when I went back there were none left. BUT, there were rain checks hanging on one of the racks.

Saved $563.22 and probably more in dentist fees.
Thanks!!!!

I've never resold slickdeals I've purchased, and I'm not a fan of those who do but still, it's their choice.

As far as listing things for free...people will get free stuff who don't need it, just like we'll sign up for free things that make the front page even though I don't need it... (i.e. free usb cable from Meritline or whatever). Everyone just thinks "it's free, why not!". I think you have to be pretty naive to believe that if you give it away for free, someone wouldn't sell it for cash...especially on Craigslist. It certainly isn't worth getting "mad as hell" over.

the store in Fridley, MN, would only let me get 4.
There was 13 left when I left.

4 wouldn't even last 1 year, considering I'm buying for 5 people.

chi 01-13-2013 07:00 PM

Wow, wow, wow... I got 25 of them. That's like a 10 year supply since I'm cheap and wait till they're all frazzy. Left a bunch on the racks, may go back and get them all for a lifetime supply. ;)

asuchemist 01-13-2013 07:04 PM

Picked up 11. They also had sensitive teeth ones at my store. Good find. My wife asked me why I bought so many, I said slick deal. 11 for $33 (5% target card) not bad. Beats 8 for $35 Costco sells them for.

silvaclipz 01-13-2013 07:04 PM

25 packs is a lot more than a 10 year supply.

They recommend changing it every 3 months. 25 packs of 3 is 75. Divide that by 4 and you have almost 20 years worth of brushes.

I was planning to do that, but the security guard (the guy that told me I could only buy 4), was keeping an eye out for me, and walked towards me when I entered the store again. I entered just to check their policy to see if they were able to limit purchases (they did).
Really strange place, and I was quite pissed by his attitude.
