Gahhhhh, I just bought this keyboard for 27.99 during BF.

Would have loved to get a G9x for another 25.00

Great deal, the Keyboard is great for the price, the only grip i have is the macro keys are too close to the ESC button and the obnoxious MW3 logo, no big deal the backlite is good, and the keys are responsive. Its also very heavy and it doesnt feel cheap at all.

Alright, sorry about that. Still a newbie.

CRUC1AL 01-15-2013 11:44 PM

Amazon has the keyboard only for $31.68 [amazon.com]

And the Logitech G9X for $43.40 [amazon.com]

andy24 01-16-2013 01:34 AM

I have both the mouse and keyboard from Black Friday for about $70. The only issue for me was the macro keys were awkwardly placed on the left side of the keyboard, like someone stated earlier. You get used to it though.

As for the mouse I'd recommend it mostly for claw grip users, but it works for most users. It does come with 2 different grips. so it will fit smaller and larger hands.

TheMacAttack 01-16-2013 03:47 AM

Thanks OP! Repped

KarateB0b 01-16-2013 03:59 AM

Good price, Ordered mine a month ago from these guys @ $55.
I FINALLY got it last week (4 weeks for packaging+free smartpost shipping).
The mouse is quality. The KB is kinda cheap, but worth the $8-14 it costs :D
Good deal, but only if you don't need it within the next 3 weeks.

skeester 01-16-2013 04:10 AM

Nice..In for 1

TriCKyHitS 01-16-2013 05:47 AM

Ordered this bundle last time..took FOR EV ER to get here. Didnt arrive until after xmas, so was kinda a bummer. Great mouse tho!

eggyolk 01-16-2013 05:55 AM

Buyer beware. 1saleaday took 6 weeks to deliver this same combo. Items were listed "new" but had scratches on bottom surface.

Surprise people still post 1SaleaDay deals considering how shady this company is. TigerDirect gets a ton of crap from SDers but I rather deal with TD any day of the week over this company.

Chevyguy85 01-16-2013 06:03 AM

Bought just the mouse mid August for $44 so this seems like a decent deal. My only gripe with the mouse is it's quite small after coming from a logitech trackball. Considering I have small hands I find the fact that even after 5 months I still think the mouse is small a bit odd. It doesn't come with 2 different sized "shells" just different textures, one is smooth the other is rough. Hopefully the dumb COD crap will rub off soon.

BluddSimple 01-16-2013 06:27 AM

I paid $20 for that mouse so I didn't have to see that dumass cod logo on it... Well worth it! :p

You can try to use alcohol to rub it off...

This bundle is discontinued. The keyboard isn't mechanical either. Seems pretty good but I'm out of $$

groundzyy 01-16-2013 07:41 AM

They are pretty good for this price, and i bought mine in the Nov or early Dec deal.

The only problem is it usually take at least one month for 1saleaday to ship it!!!

ShiosX 01-16-2013 07:52 AM

this is perfect for my situation,

I just wanted a gaming mouse and my brother wanted a gaming keyboard (keyboard in general) so splitting it $26.50 each was perfect for both of us!

Thanks OP! :]

Thanks for the tip, I just go even more low tech and keep the lights off. Helps that I work nights so I try to keep the house dark by default.

Ah ha ha ha... Well said.

On topic, I have this kb and mouse (w/out the horrible graphics). I love the mouse. I do wish it had maybe 2 more buttons, but I won't switch to another because it is really that solid.

The kb serves its purpose quite well. Backlighting is nice, and of course, you can turn it off if you don't like it. Macro keys work, are decently placed. Logitech software works as expected to program macros and profiles.

All in all, this is an outstanding deal. I paid $35 for the kb last fall and $60 for the non-cod version of the mouse on sale. So, yea, it's a nice price if you can get past the logos.

Not sure about 1sad... never ordered from them.

Placed an order but really wondering, what are some other concerns about 1SAD besides the delayed shipping? Do they try to screw us up somehow?

winter12 01-16-2013 09:51 AM

Been waiting to get this KB and Mouse. This bundle made them easy to grab. Ordered from 1SAD before and shipping is spotty. Some item are quicker than others. Their based in Brooklyn, I think, and shipping was off after Sandy for a few weeks.

mdbrich 01-16-2013 09:54 AM

They just take forever. The UPS label was created DEC 14th. I emailed DEC28th and asked where my stuff was. They replied DEC31st saying it was shipping. Looking at the tracking number it finally got shipped. Just takes forever and seems they dont reply to emails until they have the answer your looking for.

Placing hundreds of dollars in unauthorized charges and selling fake warranties that you don't honor isn't the same thing as mislabing "new" when it should be "new or used(good condition)" and having slow shipping. TD is more dangerous than buying from unknown foreign websites.

dalostpinoy 01-16-2013 09:59 AM

if you're willing to wait 2-3 weeks for the items to arrive, this would be a killer deal for you! 1saleaday is slow as heck

ponyboy10 01-16-2013 10:09 AM

I didn't see it mentioned, but here's the link to the previous deal: http://slickdeals.net/permadeal/8...?#comments
If you check the last few pages, there a fair number of people saying they got used products. YMMV, I guess. I've gotten a few things from 1SAD and have been pleased. Everything seemed new that was supposed to be, but had some dented boxes, etc

Trakanonn 01-16-2013 10:14 AM

I bought the G105 for like $25 a few months back. The G105 won't program for me.. The default G keys, such as G1, act as F1 by default. And there is NO standalone volume button which is a major turnoff. You have to hold down FN while pressing F8 to turn the volume up. If I could go back in time, I probably would have bought something else.

keplenk 01-16-2013 10:34 AM

I have this mouse. Best mouse you can get ever. I remove the shell since I have small hands. Best starcraft II mouse. MarineKing, MVP I believe uses it.

dreezy 01-16-2013 10:56 AM

I bought this bundle last time and can confirm my mouse had scratches on the bottom of the device.

The company may be based in Brooklyn but they definitely have a warehouse in Miami as we see a ton of 1SAD boxes come through the Orlando UPS hub from down there.

^this. Exactly the same thing for me. As far as the keyboard, I ripped off the keys on the left-hand side because they screwed with my hand position. I'd like scratch my face during a game and put my hand down, realize it was on the G keys, then have to look back down to reset. Macro keys don't bother me because they're lower profile and I can feel the difference.

All that aside, it's very heavy and probably the only keyboard I've ever owned that I can smack someone with and not break it :P Not saying it's rage-proof, but it's probably pretty close. Have two Lycosa keyboards and a SteelSeries sitting in my closet. Using this because I don't play seriously anymore, and if I spill soda on it I'm not gonna freak.

Last thing I'll add is that the "Window lock" feature literally means the Windows key on your keyboard. I thought it prevented against alt-tabbing out (when using alt as your push-to-talk while checking your score, this happens a lot).

Fulgore243 01-16-2013 12:42 PM

I had a G9 mouse years ago which was great, but I just recently had to dispose of a 2012-era G9X because the right mouse button had a faulty sensor where it took a few clicks for the computer to register the button press, despite the fact the mouse was clean and blown out with compressed air. There may be a bad batch of G9X's floating out there.

BossFeras 01-16-2013 12:48 PM

Does anyone know if the modern warfare logos can be removed from the keyboard/mouse? Is it like a sticker or something? I am not really into CoD like that..

CrazyGoat 01-16-2013 01:07 PM

Ordered the same bundle from 1SaleADay on Black Friday

Ordered: 11/23/12
Tracking Number Received: 12/14/12
Order Delivered via UPS/USPS Smartpost: 12/24/12

Took exactly a month to receive the package. I love the keyboard and mouse. (Bought it for the mouse, really. I already have a G9X at home - but wanted one for work. The keyboard is pretty decent as well, no complaints for the price. Just be patient.

Not easily. It could be scraped off, but leave a mark. Might dissolve in acetone or mineral spirits. I just put electrical tape over it.

does it matter? it's not like you stare at the mouse all the time.

LizardSlayer 01-16-2013 01:34 PM

As for 1SAD, I have made about 3-4 purchases from them in the last several years and they all came within a couple weeks. This mouse usually runs this price by itself so I can wait a little while. If you are on the fence about these guys, don't be, with all these complaints you will notice that they all got what they ordered, it was just slow.

Same here -- I've bought a few things and everything has come, just will usually take a while, but I knew that going. My biggest concern is people in the previous thread reporting that they got obviously used keyboards & mice. I'd be in more for just the mouse, so I think I'll hold off.

The Mouse and Keyboard I got were both in perfect condition, even the boxes looked mint. The oversized 2'x1'x1' they shipped it in was beat up, but the products were great. YMMV of course.

Also, the LED backlighting is a really cool neon green:D

borden5 01-16-2013 02:10 PM

ordered , now pray that i don't get the used combo, thanks OP.

Pairate 01-16-2013 02:31 PM

My products were fine, the boxes were really beat up which is probably why they're so cheap. But took about 37 days after ordering for it to arrive with terrible customer service.

kennyminot 01-16-2013 02:53 PM

1SAD is currently my favorite deal site. All my orders have arrived in a reasonable time frame (1-2 weeks) and in great condition. I even bought a refurbished tablet PC, and we haven't had a single problem with it.

Milkwasabadchoice 01-16-2013 03:13 PM

LOL @ all you guys thinking anyone actually cares what logo is on your mouse. Let's just say that the logo on your mouse isn't what is keeping you from going on dates...

Anyway, can anyone confirm that this combo includes the mouse pad that comes with the mouse alone? I bought this mouse a couple months ago and the packaging included a MW3 mouse pad that isn't mentioned anywhere. It isn't a great mouse pad, but is serviceable as a crappy mouse pad around the house. Some people may be interested in knowing it is included or not (except of course those who care about their mouse logos).

From what I understand, this was never actually packed as a "combo". If the pieces come in the factory boxes, it should come with the mouse pad.

I ordered one while sitting in traffic on my way to work this morning. I almost ordered just the mouse for $40 the other day. This should go nicely with my new rig.

As for 1SAD, I'm pretty sure it's a small operation. I've always gotten my orders within 2 weeks, but I would assume it's due to fulfilling orders between them and their other affiliate sites.

But if you're scouring deal a day sites for something you NEED IMMEDIATELY, you've already messed up.

It indeed came with a MW3 mousepad...

...which has a permanent crease in the middle that no amount of heat/ironing/crushing can remove. :vomit:

I've been using a Logitech S520 and the mouse is mess up so I'm basically using a Microsoft Mobile Mouse 3000. I haven't used a wired keyboard and mouse in a while. Before I used a Seitek Cyborg and hated the keyboard due to the quietness of it, maybe it just me but I love the sound when I smash my keyboard I guess its a habit. Is the MW3 keyboard quiet?

it types like a basic keyboard.

Microshock 01-16-2013 07:29 PM

The keyboard isn't mechanical (which doesn't matter to a lot of people but does to me), and the mouse uses one of the shitty Avago sensors with built in hardware acceleration. The mouse is not accurate.

Ha, that thing was CRAZY wasn't it? It took a solid week of putting books on it in different places to finally get it to lay flat enough to use. It's not so bad now.

Like I said, it is a cheap pad, but can be used when you are just browsing and there are no hot ladies around to be embarrassed about your mouse logo. I use mine with my portable table when I'm just watching TV etc...

Even though 1saleaday takes a long time, they usually provide a tracking number/label relatively quickly. This seems exceptionally long wait.

Estimated delivery Feb. 5th.

Now, back to the previous complaints about clearly used mouses. What if, what if I also receive a mouse with "scratched back and a smudge stain" as those guys complained about and decide to return this bundle?
Is 1salesaday gonna agree to take it back?
Update:

Just got the bundle today. Typing on the COD kb right now.
Regarding 1SAD's products:The package of the mouse is seriously beaten up. Quite a few visible scratches on the back of the mouse. Keyboard package not so much beaten up but obviously not off-the-shelf new.
Not complaints about the Logitech bundles.

Received mine today. Both look brand new. No scuffs on the bottom of the mouse, no visible wear on the keyboard. Using the mouse now, it's considerably better than the G5 it replaced, but the G5 was pretty old. :) Happy camper here.

Surprise people still post 1SaleaDay deals considering how shady this company is. TigerDirect gets a ton of crap from SDers but I rather deal with TD any day of the week over this company.

You should come to expect this from mindless bot postings.

Got mine two days ago, took about ~4 weeks to get here from the time I ordered it. I knew ahead of time it may take a while but the price was good so I decided to order it. The actual shipping time was pretty fast, from the time they provided a tracking number it only took about 4 days.

The items I received were brand new, still wrapped in original packaging. Mouse and keyboard are pretty awesome, no complaints here. Thanks OP!
