Basement Systems Waterguard Drain Tile

http://www.basementsystems.com/ba...guard.html

Can someone help me find a way to acquire about 150ft of this stuff? I am looking to waterproof my basement and have decided that the product in the link above would be the best for my situation and I really want to get it.

The problem is, there is only one company (a franchise) in town who sells it and they only sell it installed - which is QUITE PRICEY.

Anyone know of an alternative way to get this stuff? Or know of another product that is very similar?

Helped my brother fix his water problem. Used basic 4" drainage pipe (with holes down, theory being as the water level raises it will enter the pipe and drain to the sump pump). We covered the pipe with a white filter sock to keep it clean. Also put some 3/8 vinyl tubing into drilled holes in the bottom of his cinder/concrete block wall at 16-18" intervals. Other end of tubing went into drainage pipe. Pitched the pipe towards to sump tank. Filled the trench with 3/4 crushed (clean) stone/gravel and covered with newspaper before putting a 3" thick concrete on top. After doing this my brother had no more water issues. He also found since providing for drainage, he would not get water to the sump until the second day of rain.

You won't find that pipe available. Probably patented or copyrighted in some way to protect their design. And prevent competition from using their idea.
