Which tilting tv mount do you recommend?

if cost was not an issue, what TV mount would you recommend? It has to tilt since it's going above my fireplace. Would you just get one of the ones on meritline or is there something better out there? Thanks!

I have the cheap cheetah one mounted above my fireplace and it works fine. I don't have it tilted much though.

I really like the cheetah mounts, installed 3 recently. I too don't tilt them much. The downside I have is that it was hard to get a screwdriver under the tv to secure it unless you have a long PH1 (phillips) screwdriver. I will highly recommend it though - looking for one right now.

I used a cheetah and although installing it was a pain, it works well. The thing with mine is it is flush against the wall, so any wires behind the TV (mine has the red/white/yellow wire input) would seem to be smushed. Luckily my HDMI inputs are on the side so it's a non issue.

Would a right angle RCA adapter help you? I had to purchase the HDMI version of this for my TV.

I bought a very sturdy el cheapo off of Ebay. Under $20 and better stronger looking overall.

If cost is no issue the below is the ONLY mount you should consider. It swings down up to 30" for viewing. It is the only product of its type on the market.

Methinks the only time you have to be concerned with the quality of a mount is if it a fully articulated one. I'm thinking that you only need to tilt it once, correct?
I needed articulation and had to pop for the one at Costco... maybe $80? (I don't really recall.)
If all I needed was a flat or tilting mount, I'd look toward Meritline steals.
