Great Experience
Pros: friendly staff able to adapt quickly great
Cons: too short
"I obviously haven’t taken this package, but I went to the Winter Olympics in Vancouver, BC with sportevents.com and had a wonderful time. It was a great experience with no regrets other then I wish it was longer! The staff was amazing and accommodating. It was first rate all the way! I can recommend them without hesitation."

:bounce: 49ers!

Parachute07 01-22-2013 03:54 PM

Title is wrong.....it's actually from $2,699 for a single ticket. The middle package is $12,499. The $14,999 is for the most expensive package. Those tickets would be a great buy for a fundraiser raffle. I bet you could charge $50 a piece for raffle tickets just for the pair of Superbowl tickets and easily raise 10 grand on top of the cost of the tickets.

gibsonbass 01-22-2013 03:56 PM

Price mistake?

Parachute07 01-22-2013 04:01 PM

Btw, where do all these jokers reselling tickets on Ebay and Stubhub get them from in the first place? I assumed these were basically impossible to actually buy.....figured these were all given out to corporations basically.....

722 01-22-2013 04:04 PM

Yes. Ticketmaster gets a share from tickets sold by resellers like Ebay and StubHub.

Can't believe people spend so much to go see a football game. I guess people have money to burn..

I'd gladly go if I had that much disposable income sitting around. It seems like a cool experience, and one that money CAN actually buy.

Considering that the 2-person package costs more than my car and motorcycle put together, it's not something I'll be doing any time soon.

instead of wasting $4,0000 for the ticket and air travel and lodging... I would rather buy a 60" or so TV for $2000 and a sound system for $1000 and a lazyboy for $500 and spend the last $500 throwing a party!

phillylex 01-22-2013 04:51 PM

Why go to the SB when you can watch Beyonce lip sync for free at home?

Season ticket holders for the home team [Saints, in this case] typically get a chance to buy tickets.

Each team in the Super Bowl gets an allotment of tickets. Those are usually given away to season ticketholders via a random draw. I'm a season ticket holder for the Cardinals and was able to purchase Super Bowl tickets at face value a few years ago when they went. It was still pretty expensive (like $900 a ticket for upper deck seats).

When I think of Super Bowl football my next thought is always Beyonce and/or Destiny's Child.

Between these lame halftime acts and Faith Hill doing Sunday Night Football they are metrosexualizing football.

I remember the good ol' days when Bud Light sold beer with frogs. Hey Coors Light, you know who I want to see rappelling down a mountain with the coldest beer ever?

TWINS!

They book these acts to appease female viewers who don't normally watch or like football.

The two ticket package is $7100 more than buying two single tickets, which basically means you're paying $7100 for a 4 night stay at Holiday Inn and 2 tickets to "Taste of the NFL".

This guy is correct, Ticketmaster has their own ticket exchange so they are a direct competitor to Ebay/Stubhub. Ticketmaster also doesn't have Super Bowl tickets in the first place.

I was reading that attendance is actually down at football games now. Since you can watch it on large HDTVs at the comfort of your own home.

Exactly. Why sit in the cold away from the game when you can sit in a toasty room with chips and drinks on a big screen?

iflabs 01-22-2013 09:22 PM

Do you even realize what you can do with all of that money with a trip to Amsterdam? Much better than a NFL Super Bowl experience, that's for sure.

Yea, and even though corporations are people my friend, a corporation can't actually go to the game, so they give the tickets to senior employees who then sell them.
