not a big fan of patriot sd cards... i bought 2 and they gave me error messages after a couple of months. good thing i had bought other sd cards for my honeymoon lol

I have had to return 2 Patriot memory cards (granted, under warranty). Perhaps Polaroid (RIP) chips are better, and at this price, I'd bite if needed.

I'm not 100% but I remember reading about how class 4-6 are best for tablets / nooks / etc especially if they're going to hold the OS or boot. I think it has something to do with fastest/safest read write times versus benchmarks. You want something that can do a lot of read/writing without any issues or corruptions. Please someone correct me on this if I'm wrong (I have a nook simple touch reader but my class 10 16gb microSD is only for holding my books. Yes, I know it's a lot but I plan to get all of the gutenberg library on it ~8gb + other fun stuff).

Sorry, it isn't intuitive, but class 2 or 4 is preferred for booting an Nook off of.

Just got mine today. It says Polaroid by PNY. Speed tests have it reading and writing at 18 MB/sec. Not bad at all!
