Tempting, but I haven't played the first one yet. If only it was the Wii U version.

Thanks, Op! Wanted to share with my fellow SD'ers a solution to a problem that I had. It might help those with the same issue. I had $15 (3 x $5) in BB rewards. But BB would only let me use 2 of the rewards and not the third because my rewards was greater than subtotal ($15>$14.99). So I found this filler ...
a 99 cent wing nuts with FS [bestbuy.com] . Now subtotal over $15 and I could use the 3 BB rewards certificates. I didn't want to have a rewards certificate laying around that might expire if I forgot about it. So to not chance it, I got wing nuts. I hope this helps with this or any other BB deal. Best of luck.

Think Amazon will eventually PM?

Sweet! My son loves the 1st Epic Disney. I'll grab this and hold it until his birthday. These core Wii games rarely get discounted this deep until they are 'classics'.

Sounds like a nice sale, but the reviews on this game seem to vary a lot including quite bad. It is on all the platforms now so choosing the "wii version" is a disadvantage.

I noticed to the right of the page when you click the link that they are selling the first one for 7.99, FYI.

I see that too, but when you click the link, it comes up at $19.99, not the sale price. Not sure if it just hasn't been update or what.

Nice fine, but anything Bestbuy I avoid - just my personal preference. Thanks and repp'd.

foxnews 01-24-2013 08:40 AM

does this require wii remote plus or classic controller? I have wii U with pro controller and wii Remote plus

I used to think the same..........however, the video game gurus at Bestbuy have gotten generous in the past couple years. Also, in my zipcode, Bestbuy is sort of a last man standing in the electronics business. Where else can I overpay for apple accessories? :worship:

Had $15 rewards so grabbed it and a 1.99 stylus to make it past the $15 mark. The DS stylus is more useful than a wing nut for me. ;)

Damn! Shows as $39.99 now. Hate to have missed it!

joeman37 01-25-2013 06:49 AM

Amazon had this as a lightning deal before Christmas. I got it for PS3 then. I think it was $17? I play it with my 6 year old son and it is ok. I have not been super impressed and the camera angle issues sometimes make it feel like it is a first gen 3d game, (think Mario 64). Not worth full price but under $20 would probably be worth it.
