Fake reviews! Look! EVERYONE who reviewed this except one person reviewed it on Jan 23rd.

You are telling me this thing got 11 out of 12 reviews all on Jan 23rd and they all were glowing! B-SHITE!

yea, thought so too, but upon further review looks like it was only launched on amazon yesterday and that the reviews came from people who had demo'd the item at CES a couple weeks back. not to mention, a few of the reviews are from verified purchases (aka not fluff)

I clicked on almost all the reviewers names to see what else they reviewed...check it out...this is the ONLY thing most have ever reviewed. It's a trap!

seems odd to say that. did research on the seller and they have over 1300 amazon reviews (clearly not a newbie), almost all 5-stars, they offer normal brand-name items (not chinese knock-off or garbage items) and seems to have no clear issues.

also - seller provides their info on amazon: "Warehouse #6 handles a large variety of overflow items. Every item listed has been marked-down in order to help move and liquidate the present inventory. Any/all questions can be directed to the warehouse administrator, M-F between 9a and 4p EST, at (331) 444-AMZ6."

no one like fraud, guitarded, me neither. but ive seen fraud (esp. on flea-bay: thinking chinese, 40% negative feedback, knock-offs, etc) and i just dont see the same signs here. i bought one - ill definitely be throwing in a review once i get to play with it

Here is a 7" model with very similar specs for $70 - http://www.lightinthebox.com/yeah...73973.html

I'm tempted to get one for my parents so that they don't have to boot up their laptop every time I call them to skype.

Damn it, I need a cheap android tablet to run XBMC and access my music collection

Since this is a repost, I'll repost my comment.

Great size.
Good screen. (Capacitive)
Great Wifi protocol.
Good Battery life.
Good CPU.
Ridiculous reviews.
Poor memory amount, which will equal sluggish speed.
Poor display resolution for this size device. I imagine it would be pretty unimpressive to view a screen that size with such low quality.

Close to a good deal, but the screen and speed will kill your enjoyment and you'll toss it out onto the freeway to take pleasure in watching an 18-wheeler run it over.

I hate to admit it, but I agree with Evo on this one. Had to happen sometime.

But, keep in mind that at least this comes from Amazon instead of direct from China. If it's defective (or just sucks, as these cheap tablets tend to) you can return it. (OK, you can return your chinatab to mcbub, spend hours convincing them that you know where the power button is, then spend half the cost of the tablet in the first place on shipping, and then *hope* they actually send you your money).

I returned an order to China on two different occasions.
Once with a tablet and once with a PC Stick.
Both times it was $14 using USPS Priority Int'l with tracking and delivery confirmation.

Not sure where people get the misinformed opinion that shipping to China should cost $50+......but it's nice to see that I can post something and people not jump on me about it.
Glad we agree and sometimes, even glad when we agree to disagree, as long as it's done respectfully.

Take care.
