I picked it up, but wouldn't pay much more. I've had this before, and if you're a juicer it's probably a better read, but take the articles and training logs with a grain of salt if you're not. Muscle & Fitness is probably a tad more realistic, but even if you get just a few recipes or exercise ideas it's worth the sub price.

Great mag at an unreal price, Got it awhile back at 3.99. I think its good thru 2015 or Id jump on this deal.

I agree, I've been involved in the periphery of bodybuilding (powerlifting) since 1971 and during my last subscription I just quit reading it. That being said I resubscribed and will read just to keep up on the competitions and a few articles, then I'll pass the mags onto my grandson (with some judicious counseling). I never juiced myself, but in powerlifting their were (and are) those who hit it hard, I never held it against them as I wasn't and Elite lifter so I was competing for my own satisfaction.

Yep, I think everyone has to wait until March/April (might be the cycle of billing/sending magazines - no clue). When I bought about 4 subscriptions back in December, it said I had to wait until February in which 1 of them have came in the mail already.

I hit up the 3.99 promo as well doing two years of both this n muscle fitness. I wish there was a way to better contact these companies so I can somehow maybe extend the subscription opposed to over writing the current subscription or I may end up getting 2 or 3 of the same magazine each month lol

Exactly. Its a Musslethech ad with one of two articles. I used to be an avid reader of FLEX, and I think I still get them from the last deal they posted. Basically all it is now is a SPAM mail for the mentioned supplements/ed pills.

My biceps have doubled in size since receiving this magazine. I think it's from picking up the piles of worthless crap and throwing in the recycling bin! :lol:

The February issue does have a nice article on "Earth Angels." I think it's the first time in 2 years that I've seen women in the mag that aren't roided up.

I found a local entertainment exchange place that gives $1/issue in store credit for same month magazines, much better than recycling. Get credit towards something I want and they get to sell a practically new magazine for about half of the cover price. :D

That's pretty slick. Is that like a used book store? Do you cut out the address label? I'm a sucker for $5 and under magazine subscriptions....have stacks of Car and Driver, Automobile, Shape, Self, Better Homes, Muscle & Fitness, Motor Trend, Guns & Ammo, and a few others.

Flex is about the only one that I've found that is absolutely worthless. Easily 70% advertisements for "legal steriods." Best use I found for it so far is the advertisements. I customized an old bat for my kid - spray painted and then glued on stuff from the ads "Beast" "Bring it!" "Crush it!" "More Power!" and stuff like that. Then a couple of layers of clear coat. Didn't turn out as cool as I imagined, but he liked it. My wife is creeped out by veins, so sometimes I'll rip out a pic and hide it for her to find. ;)

Good deal. Been getting this magazine since the 1980s. The best part is all the guys in the magazine are "all natural". Just eat all those supplements they advertise on every other page and you can look like them in a few years. :rolleyes:

In for another 3 years. I think I have about 2 years already on my current subscription but for $7.50 I will keep it going I guess. I get a better workout lifting the mag each month and stacking it in my "never read" pile then I do at the gym. One day I will actually get around to reading all these back issues!

My wife bought me a juicer for Christmas and Ive been using it 3 to 4 times a week. I thought this one would cater more to the pro body builder crowd. Maybe I'll even start doing some push ups or jumping jacks.

I got a 2.99 subcription a while back... I won't renew... MuscleMag is the only bodybuilding magazine I would recommend... Wish I could get a MuscleMag subscription at such a low price but it's nearly impossible..
