From the site (Found Here):

Free of Hidden Fees or auto-Renewals

As a store policy, we do not automatically renew your subscriptions once they expire.
Once it is close to your renewal date, we will send you a renewal reminder giving you the option to renew the subscription yourself.
Furthermore, the price you see in your shopping cart is the price you'll see on your bill.
We don't charge any shipping or handling fees.

Allyfornia 01-25-2013 04:02 AM

Perfect thank you!

New_World 01-25-2013 04:57 AM

in for one.
sweet deal for flex!

TheHamPimp 01-25-2013 05:34 AM

I picked it up, but wouldn't pay much more. I've had this before, and if you're a juicer it's probably a better read, but take the articles and training logs with a grain of salt if you're not. Muscle & Fitness is probably a tad more realistic, but even if you get just a few recipes or exercise ideas it's worth the sub price.

TBLightning 01-25-2013 06:33 AM

Great mag at an unreal price, Got it awhile back at 3.99. I think its good thru 2015 or Id jump on this deal.

VirtualShoplift 01-25-2013 06:36 AM

Good mag for the articles.
70% of this mag are ADs. 50% for nutrition and get-ripped quick pills
10% for sexual enhancement pills and 8% fake steroid sources 2% real roid sources

I agree, I've been involved in the periphery of bodybuilding (powerlifting) since 1971 and during my last subscription I just quit reading it. That being said I resubscribed and will read just to keep up on the competitions and a few articles, then I'll pass the mags onto my grandson (with some judicious counseling). I never juiced myself, but in powerlifting their were (and are) those who hit it hard, I never held it against them as I wasn't and Elite lifter so I was competing for my own satisfaction.

+1

For $2.50 you can't go wrong, but M&F is better. There was a good deal on M&F like this in the past few months too.

I'm sure you can just use one of the cards inside that says changing address or contact them directly.

I don't exercise at all, but totally worth 2.50 to to leave on my coffee table for the ladies to see .

Yep!

After you create your account with DiscountMags/login, you'll be able to view all your subscriptions to magazines that you have through them. Go to "My Magazines" and wherever you see your address listed, hit the "Change Address button.

Then save & you're good to go!

ko300zx 01-25-2013 08:03 AM

I see enough advertisements for crap that doesn't work for free. Why would I pay 2.50 for the same thing?

Thank you, I have ordered one! However, for some reason, I have to wait till end of march/april to receive my first issue... what about February!!

Yep, I think everyone has to wait until March/April (might be the cycle of billing/sending magazines - no clue). When I bought about 4 subscriptions back in December, it said I had to wait until February in which 1 of them have came in the mail already.

jimbo24 01-25-2013 08:13 AM

I hit up the 3.99 promo as well doing two years of both this n muscle fitness. I wish there was a way to better contact these companies so I can somehow maybe extend the subscription opposed to over writing the current subscription or I may end up getting 2 or 3 of the same magazine each month lol

McRofles 01-25-2013 08:13 AM

what the hell, in for 3 years. Less then 10 bucks, can't really go wrong. Need some new workouts anyway.

Exactly. Its a Musslethech ad with one of two articles. I used to be an avid reader of FLEX, and I think I still get them from the last deal they posted. Basically all it is now is a SPAM mail for the mentioned supplements/ed pills.

jimbo24 01-25-2013 08:16 AM

My biceps have doubled in size since receiving this magazine. I think it's from picking up the piles of worthless crap and throwing in the recycling bin!

The February issue does have a nice article on "Earth Angels." I think it's the first time in 2 years that I've seen women in the mag that aren't roided up.

I found a local entertainment exchange place that gives $1/issue in store credit for same month magazines, much better than recycling. Get credit towards something I want and they get to sell a practically new magazine for about half of the cover price. :D

That's pretty slick. Is that like a used book store? Do you cut out the address label? I'm a sucker for $5 and under magazine subscriptions....have stacks of Car and Driver, Automobile, Shape, Self, Better Homes, Muscle & Fitness, Motor Trend, Guns & Ammo, and a few others.

Flex is about the only one that I've found that is absolutely worthless. Easily 70% advertisements for "legal steriods." Best use I found for it so far is the advertisements. I customized an old bat for my kid - spray painted and then glued on stuff from the ads "Beast" "Bring it!" "Crush it!" "More Power!" and stuff like that. Then a couple of layers of clear coat. Didn't turn out as cool as I imagined, but he liked it. My wife is creeped out by veins, so sometimes I'll rip out a pic and hide it for her to find. ;)

In 2-3 weeks, logon with your current account here:
https://w1.buysub.com/pubs/SR/FLX...6217&vid=1

and then send an email to tell them you may have 2 accounts and want them merged.

Or call Flex 800-340-8959. You need to wait 2-3 weeks before the new subscription is created at the publisher site.

SD has a stickied thread for 1-800 numbers - http://slickdeals.net/f/3403898-List-of-800-numbers-for-Magazines-Customer-Service

and a customer service website thread - http://slickdeals.net/f/285434-Checking-Editing-Converting-your-subscriptions-online (although Flex isn't in this)

Good deal. Been getting this magazine since the 1980s. The best part is all the guys in the magazine are "all natural". Just eat all those supplements they advertise on every other page and you can look like them in a few years.

Scobad 01-25-2013 12:12 PM

Can this be delivered on my ipad?

Blade2000 01-25-2013 12:28 PM

In for another 3 years. I think I have about 2 years already on my current subscription but for $7.50 I will keep it going I guess. I get a better workout lifting the mag each month and stacking it in my "never read" pile then I do at the gym. One day I will actually get around to reading all these back issues!

Thanks for your post. I never would have bought this magazine, otherwise. I've been looking for some more juicing recipes.

My wife bought me a juicer for Christmas and Ive been using it 3 to 4 times a week. I thought this one would cater more to the pro body builder crowd. Maybe I'll even start doing some push ups or jumping jacks.

I ordered 3 years!

Too bad, more than 50% of magazine is just ADS... It used to be such a great magazine back in the 90s when I started reading it... I wish I would have saved some of those mags..

I got a 2.99 subcription a while back... I won't renew... MuscleMag is the only bodybuilding magazine I would recommend... Wish I could get a MuscleMag subscription at such a low price but it's nearly impossible..

If you ordered from DiscountMags, you need to contact DiscountMags (not the individual magazines) and try to cancel your order. Give them a day or two to get back to you. I've been ordering from DiscountMags for years and years and I've always gotten a response to questions. Try to be patient, they will reply. Unfortunately, as indicated on the DiscountMags website, you may not be able to cancel your order.

What is your policy on order cancellations?
If you're not completely satisfied with your subscription, we are always willing to work with you. In most cases, we will refund you for any undelivered magazines and cancel your subscription. In some instances this is not possible, however, and we will work closely with you to ensure you are completely satisfied.

You can use this form on their website:

or you can try emailing them:
