Just when I thought I could not get any more lazier :-)
Got one to try it out.
Thanks op.

Folks that use S&S be aware that they don't ship until your monthly shipping date now. The product may or may not be in stock on the monthly shipping day so even if you use the coupon and order now with S&S you may not receive the product and you can not use the coupon again.

Dwang 01-27-2013 07:52 AM

It will only let me use the coupon once? Anyway to be able to use the coupon with each purchase?

Thanks. Didn't want to waste time trying to build up to $25 on Amazon since they were coming up as add-on items. Got the 28 Stain Release for $6.68 shipped to NY! :)

absolute42 01-27-2013 10:25 PM

nvm the drugstore thing doesnt work. says $7 once you checkout

someone28624 01-27-2013 11:18 PM

Can anyone explain the point of these to me? I use the Tide Pods and they supposedly have a stain booster built in.

You add these with your detergent. These are not detergent. Just a useless addon to get you to spend more money.

Funny, I thought these were pods at first glance. Repped for making me laugh.

yrv 01-28-2013 02:55 AM

why do you need these? detergent works w/o them. no odor, no stains. how often do you get those "tough stains" anyway?

hardin71 01-28-2013 03:00 AM

Good price. Fiance really loves them!

dealmuppet 01-28-2013 03:12 AM

i stocked up, although this is the price you see often if you're patient

That's what I thought.

Tide: Buy these new boosters! We promise our regular detergent will suck less when you buy these!

If I put four of them in my wash will my clothes be four times cleaner?

Maybe they are for laundromat use/sale?

mitchflorida 01-28-2013 04:53 AM

First of all, the subscribe and save feature no longer works on these.

I have used these before, not much better than adding bleach to the washing machine. They also have a very strong odor, so be prepared to use an extra cold water rinse cycle. .

z32tt 01-28-2013 04:54 AM

Seriously, what a waste of money.

karrun 01-28-2013 05:06 AM

These any good? WHat do these do that bleach doesn't? Not sure if all these laundry add-ons are just hype or actually work. The one Amazon review was pretty ambiguous.

28 count is now $8.99. I guess I'm not finding out.

Cancelled my order. Thanks for saving me $5.50

mitchflorida 01-28-2013 07:04 AM

Actually if you have very heavily stained clothes, they are a good deal. Like if you play softball on the weekends.

D_Nyholm 01-28-2013 07:48 AM

These remind me of the washing machine cleaner pods. Isn't a washing machines job to clean things? You shouldn't have to clean them too. Makes me realize I will never get a front load washer!

Me too! I added them to my cart thinking they were just a new type of pods until I read more closely.

Just get prime, people sell one year memberships on eBay for like $20 bucks. They add you to their account. I know many people that do this. You don't get access to the free movies but you get free 2 day shipping.

Lisa123 01-28-2013 10:37 AM

Personally I would not at all say these are useless or a waste of money. I use one of these every time I do laundry. I have 10mo twins, so their clothes are covered with all sorts of stuff. The clothes definitely come out cleaner with one of these in the machine -- I notice when I forget to put one in. Just my two cents.

krazyshopper 01-28-2013 04:22 PM

Thank you OP.

rwatford 01-28-2013 07:05 PM

Just a thought folks but this is crap. Borax is a detergent booster and its normally super cheap, like 4 dollars for a big box, in the laundry detergent isle. The package is normally in a cardboard box and its a pretty cheap decal. Use that instead if you need a boost and it does work really well. Baking soda usually works pretty well too.

61hawk 01-29-2013 08:13 AM

All this fuss when it's as simple as adding a scoop of powdered dishwasher detergent to your load of whites... try it, it works.

28-count Tide Boost Vivid White + Bright HE In-Wash Booster is back in stock but it's $9.99 - $2 coupon = $7.99 - S&S = $6.49

So the $3 coupon is now only $2 :( Would have been slick combined with the 2-Pack of 50-oz Tide Boost Vivid White + Bright HE Bleach Alternative Laundry detergent for $9.88 but that one is OOS
