Anyone know if Tide Boost will be part of the P&G deal?

armywifeandtwo 02-04-2013 04:27 PM

Over $9 in new coupons on Coupon Network for Nature Made. I know we have insert coupons, but these are higher in value.

$2/1 Nature Made Vitamin D --- the Vitamin D 90 ct is $4.49, and this week B1G1, so $.49 for 2.

$2.25/1 VitaMelts -- 50-60 ct are $8.99 B1G1, so $2.25 ea. wyb 2.

Several more, those are the best though that I see. I use alot of Vitamin D since I dont get in the Sun much.. if you're so white you could be mistaken for Casper (like me) it's a great deal.

armywifeandtwo 02-06-2013 09:23 AM

Has anyone seen the schick hydro disposables at their stores, I see the $4 coupon and $4 ecb, just wondering what the price was, none of my stores have them, I did see them at Riteaid in a stand up display but no price, CVS is higher most of the time anyway!

lydiainflorida 02-08-2013 12:27 PM

Saturday night scenario:

If I buy 2 x L'Oreal Youth Code at $19.99 (this week's sale price), will I get the $10 ECB?

I would think so since Youth Code is not on sale next week so it shouldn't override this week's sale, right?

EDENO 02-08-2013 12:47 PM

P&G limit

any way to know if P & G is really limit 1? Or do I just need to buy some and see what receipt says? I SO wish it was a cashcard deal instead of ecb!

I am a long time Rite Aid couponer, but still learning about CVS...thx!

We'll have to wait for reports.

FWIW, P&G deals are usually listed accurately in the ad. I wouldn't get my hopes up. It could still happen, but probably not.

If it's not on sale starting 2/10, then yes, the 2/3 deal should continue to work through closing (or midnight) on Saturday.

Or you can just go to a 24-hour store, because they never change the weekly deals until after midnight on Saturday. BTW, the $10 ECB wyb $30 L'Oreal deal is being repeated the week of Feb. 17-23 in case you miss out on it this week - and the expensive YC and Revitalift are on sale for $19.99 again.

Are you saying that your 24 hour stores don't activate the new ad until 12:01 AM Sunday? That would not be an accurate description of my stores. Activation goes with the managers/dm's of the stores, not the hours they operate.

My 2 closest stores activate at different times, one reg store activates at 4pm, the 24hour store doesn't activate until 9pm.

I have four 24 hour stores in my area and none of them activate before midnight. In fact, I've never been to a 24 hour store out of my area that activates early, so I'm surprised there are some that do. Kind of defeats the purpose of a 24 hour store, doesn't it?

Cheapkate 02-09-2013 02:47 PM

Just got back, I usually don't go early unless there's a good reason, I went because the $1 Irish spring coupons expire today. Of course since there aren't any good coupons, irish spring is like limit 6, my receipt says Softsoap buy 3 get $3 Quantity towards reward 3 Quantity need 15. Only other thing I did was colgate mouthwash, those are limit 2 as stated.

anyone testing the waters on the clearanced Gillette cartridges? I have $5EBs, so I can't really afford to test the waters on this one.

jbee! 02-09-2013 04:32 PM

I bought 2 Gillette Fusion 4 ct. refills $14.99 each and they did not track for the P&G. Did get a manual print
since the ad was turned on.

hil0629 02-09-2013 04:33 PM

If anyone has large ecb to roll this week, I would love to see your scenario. I have a $36 ecb exp 2/19, $40 ecb exp 2/25.
This week looked better than next week for rolling some of the ecb so I think I am better off using the $36 one this week.

Here were my thoughts - any others welcome as well.

Huggies raincheck 3 @ 9.49 get $10 ecb
Nexxus about $22
Conair $8-10 (I dont know the prices - but can really use new hairbrushes)

Use 3 $4/20 Q, 20% off (about 4.80), 4 $2 huggies, total about $37.xx - use $36 ecb and get $24 ecb back

Then later in the week when Q arrive
either 3 double airwick refills $21.xx or 4 single refills 19.98
use $4/20, 20% off, 3-4 $3 reckitt Q (depending on which I buy) pay $0-2 and get back $10 ecb

so not really losing too many and getting stuff we use.

bentodd 02-09-2013 04:39 PM

Limit report:

Coke limit more than 1
P&G limit 1
Colgate limit 2
Maybelline limit 1

I'm a total noob, so could someone check over this scenario for me?

Buy two $2.79 (my store's price) Crest = $5.58
Use two $0.75/1 Crest coupons from PG 01/27
Use $2/2 CRT printed week of 02/03
Pay: $2.08 and receive two $2 ECB

I bought a Skintimate SkinTherapy moisturizing shave gel tonight (shea butter and triple moisturizing complex, 7 oz, in a yellow can); rang up $3.49 regular price and printed a $4 EB! Went and got another one, limit reached at 2. I can only assume it's counting toward the Schick Hydro disposable deal, although I didn't try any other varieties of shave gel.

P-Funk 02-09-2013 07:13 PM

Crest Travel Friendly 2.7oz is tagged with $2 ECB. Limit 2, $2.57-$2.87 in most stores.

Were you trying to have it count for last week's deal?
If so, you really lucked out by waiting til tonight!

Yep, I hadn't done 2/3's Skintimate deal yet and was expecting a $2 EB. Should be a terrific MM with the Skintimate BOGO IP then. I am only assuming it'll still work tomorrow, since I assumed the $4 EB was from 2/10's deal - don't know for sure of course.

Also, Coke limit is 2, anything over $15 carries over fine.

I'm sure the cans won't last all week, so I would do this one quick if you are interested!
Should we take bets on how long it takes?

Kalanchoe 02-09-2013 08:00 PM

Yep, the cans I got were from the cardboard display with Schick Hydro disposables. My store had a grand total of 2, and I got both of them. ;) Again though, I don't know if any other varieties might work too (like the men's version that's in the same display)...I didn't try anything else. The yellow Skintimate is the only one that I know works for sure.

Does that mean we can do $30 in one transaction and get $10 without breaking up?

Also do you have the UPC for the Schick... not sure I have seen the yellow one at my store.

I believe so on the Coke...I bought $15.67 in one transaction, and it all tracked, so I don't see why $30 wouldn't.

I edited my previous post to add the Skintimate UPC, sorry about that! Here it is again: 8 41058 00633 6

As SomewhereElse mentioned though, the Skintimates in the cardboard display do come with $1.50 peelies as well.

Pods work different than kcups - maybe Maxwell House will have kcups on sale too? Otherwise, you wouldn't want to buy the pods for a Keurig. Posting from experience! ;)

Which $10 Q did you use? CVS sent out card specific ones via email; if you use it again, yes, it will beep.
There is a generic on their website that can be used over and over. Once per transaction, as many times as you like :D

Maxwell house says they work in keurig machines: http://www.kraftrecipes.com/produ..._cups.aspx

Maybe "pod" is the name that CVS came up with because it doesn't actually seem to be on the packaging.

This week the "$2 off any Charmin purchase of $7 or more. As seen on TV!" printed every day. Does this Charmin refer to the paper towel in the P&G deal? Just a little confused over the second part "as seen on TV". If not, what does this Charmin refer to? Thanks!

Can also confirm the Schick Hydro Sensitive Shave Gel, 8.4oz,
UPC 8 41058 01600 7 is also printing the $4 ECB. Seems it is comes under the Schick disposable razors deal.

I purchased (1) Skintimate (as mentioned in Kalanchoe's post), and (1) Schick Hydro Sensitive in 1 transaction, and received an $8 ECB. Limit Reached 2

On another card I purchased (2) x of the Schick Hydro Sensitive gel, received $ 8 ECB, Limit Reached 2

awshucks 02-10-2013 05:00 AM

The $2.50 Colgate CRT printing from the machine today is coded as a $/$$ but I don't know what the $$ is. It was beepless in a $29 transaction after a $4/$20, but it beeped in a $20 transaction after a $4/$20.

Also, my ad did not show us getting the Spoiled nail polish CRT and it did NOT print from the machine.

Oh, and in case anyone was worried the Schick shave gel deal was only valid before midnight, it is still working. Bought two in the same transaction and received a $8 ECB, limit reached.

Good luck finding 10 of them though!

relics4U 02-10-2013 09:17 AM

Found more of the clearanced Fusion gift sets and blades. Used the $10 mfq as total was $10.24! The blades counted towards the P&G deal

Schick MOISTURIZING 8.4 oz shave gel does NOT work for ECB.

Thanks for this. My store didn't have a spot for the skintimate and no peelie coupons but I was at least able to grab 2 of these at $4.19 a can for a nice filler.

Can confirm the limit is 2.

Purchased in 1 transaction, the Conair Extreme rollers on clearance @ $10.99 , got a $5 ecb.

In another transaction, purchased the curling iron @ $2.49 each, got back $ 10 ecb, Limit Reached 2.

Would one be able to just purchase the $2.49 curling iron and get back $10 ECB?

No store has a spot for them. They are on a special display. Look on end caps or on top shelves.

I gave the BOGO coupon first and then tried using a .55/1 and it beeped. So the BOGO must be attaching to 2 items.

I found a display with 2 of the skintimate cans and 2 of the shick hydro cans but someone had already peeled the coupons off:mad: Lucky for me though that they left the cans!

My local store peeled off the coupons on the 2 cans and pushed them through even though I used the BOGO. I wasn't going to complain!

Searched and did not see this mentioned. Sorry if it has been.

Bought Colgate Max Fresh with Germ Fighting Strips this morning. They rang up at .99 although they were not tagged.

Was able to use the $2.50/1 CVS coupon and .50/1 MQ coupon with no problems. Had no idea it rang up at that price until my friend did her transaction and cashier said she needed to buy more stuff in order for the coupon to be used. Apparently I had bought enough to cover the overage

The Lysol Healthy Touch Hand Soap starter kit rang up for $1.99 at my store. They were not marked as clearance so just a heads up if you are planning on doing that $10 wyb $30 deal.

Thank you both for testing these out and reporting back. I think it may be safe to conclude that it's likely the only shave gels printing the $4 EBs are the ones that are included in the cardboard Schick Hydro disposable display, which are the yellow Skintimate (seems to be found only in the display, no regular shelf spot) and the Schick Hydro Sensitive (does have a regular shelf spot).

I believe CVS had a similar thing last year where only the display shave gels were counting toward a razor deal. Too bad this time it's not limit 100 again. :coverlaf:

Went to a different CVS, found the Schick Hydro Sensitive bought two, paid $4.19 each and got back 8.00ecbs around 11:15est

I bought the Shea Butter (yellow can) mentioned as well as the Baby Soft (blue container) gels and only got a $4 ECB - so my guess is the blue one did not count. I used a BOGO free mq so both free but wish they'd had two of the yellow cans! There was no display at my store.

Much thanks (and repped) for the Conair pics you posted. There are several different versions of the curling iron and I was having trouble identifying the one on clearance before I saw your pic. I went to 5 stores and was able to find only 1 store that still had the clearanced ones in stock. It did ring up as $2.49, though, and I got my $5 ECB. :)

I also only found 1 store with the magic Skintimates (not the same one that had the Conair). It was in a very small cardboard display that had space for only 2 Skintimates and 2 Schick Hydros in the display. All 4 cans had the $1.50 peelies still on them. I bought 2 of the Skintimates, priced at $3.49 each, and used the nla BOGO IP and one of the $1.50 peelies to make the total $2.48 for the pair (the BOGO is only good for a max of $3.00). They scanned the BOGO MQ first and then the $1.50 peelie MQ and it went through beepless.

Thanks everyone for report on Conair and Schick!!! Got curling and schick, no peelies to be found and no new skintimate at 3 stores.
If you have Minis Q, you could do,

2 NM Mini comple----$14.99

Conair curling iron----$2.49

Crest scoop -----------$2.69
-------------
Total ---------------------$20.17
-------------
Use $4/$20, $10 CVS Mini, (2) $3 Mini MFQ = pay $0.17 OOP and get back $5 for Conair and $2 for Crest, Rinse and repeat one more time!

Today I went to my local CVS and I guess they decided they want to be coupon Nazi's now and they wouldn't let me use both of the mini MFQ because they didn't like the idea of having overage. Is there anyone that's emailed corporate about the specific policy regarding overage?

Easy. Cashier adjusts down.

If anyone tells you that something was a moneymaker at CVS, it's clearly only a moneymaker from the standpoint that they paid less for the item than they got back in ECBs.

As far as using coupons on items over the value, they don't do overage. Those that "do" get it, are merely just getting lucky - it's not something all of us are fortunate to get.

They haven't changed the policy or system for years now. What reponders are telling you is that official corporate policy is that they don't accept overage using coupons, so it's useless for you, or anybody else, to complain to corporate when your local stores deny you using coupons to get overage. Not only is it corporate policy, but the registers are programmed to beep if any MFQ, or combination of MFQs, try to deduct more than the price of the item, or items, being bought. The only way to get overage at CVS when using only MFQs is for the cashier to override the beeping and put in the MFQ as a generic Q, or by scanning your ECB card after all your MFQs have been scanned. EDIT: As several posters have noted, it's also possible to get the registers not to beep on MFQ overage by messing around on the timing of when you have your ECB card scanned in.

Now, you can get overage at CVS without the cash register beeping if you combine MFQs and CVS coupons, where the CVS coupon is what is causing the overage (as is the case with the Nature Made deal), but that depends on the cashier not noticing, or not caring, that you're using coupons that total more than the cost of the item(s). If the cashier denies the overage then you really have no grounds for complaint.

this is how things went for me today...
first store had the schick shave gel.. $4.39 - $1.50 sticky = $2.89+.40tax. got back $4ecb.

second store. schick $4.29 + 10.49 super b complex minis (+0 super b complex minis) - $10 cvs minis - 2 * $2 nature made MQ - $1ecb = $-0.22 (i think the first time i actually got this to work since i wasn't paying attention) + $1.24 tax = $1.02 and got back another $4 ecb on the schick. (and yes, shame limit is not 100) we'd be able to build a fort of vitamin b if that was the case. :)

Register will only allow negative subtotal and eat into sales tax (without beeping) if you have BOGO items in your transaction and you did.

hey, i'm new to couponing and want to get the coke. it's $2.98 at my cvs, no limit according to ad, and $5 EB for spending $15.

i also have MCR coke coupons and read that "it autos $4.99".

can i get 6 for ~$18, then give three coupons, and still get the $5 EB? also, won't the cashier do something about it taking off $4.99? should i obscure this with other items in the same transaction?

TheLoop 02-10-2013 04:11 PM

Pretty funny - - my CVS in Marlboro had the Nature's Made Mini's - B1G1 at $11.49. Gave the cashier the $10 off CVS Coupon, then the 2 $3 off manufacturer's coupons, and she panicked with a negative balance being left, so I said no biggie, picked up 10 packs of gum that were B1G1 . . . paid $0.38 cents . . . . NICE!

It is YMMV on these kind of deals with auto coupons. Cashier may let the 3 coupons go in at $4.99 each, which would be less than you owe, or the coupons could be adjusted to the actual price of each pack. You would get your 5 ECBs.

As stated by others, it varies by who your cashier is. I've used the Coke coupons several times (auto'd at $4.99), and my cashier never blinked an eye. Yes, I would have other stuff in my order when doing this and have them ring the 12 packs first.

Actually, there are other ways to go negative and eat tax. If your card is scanned after a sale item is scanned, EBs will eat into tax up to the amount of savings on sale items. If you have a store that scans cards first, and you figure out your transactions ahead of time, you can give enough EBs and MQs to cover the total and tax as long as you hand over your MQ's last.

Not only is it corporate policy, but the registers are programmed to beep if any MFQ, or combination of MFQs, try to deduct more than the price of the item, or items, being bought. The only way to get overage at CVS when using only MFQs is for the cashier to override the beeping and put in the MFQ as a generic Q, or by scanning your ECB card after all your MFQs have been scanned. snip

Your Extracare card doesn't have to be scanned after MQs, it just has to be scanned after your items are rung up, and the regular retail has to exceed the value of the coupons.

Has anyone bought the regular Schick Hydro shave gel, not the sensitive? What, if any, ECB did you get? TIA!

The Sensitive and the Moisture ones were tagged with 2ECB back limit 1 for this week in my store. I didnt try the Moisture one though. The Sensitive did give back the 4ECB as reported earlier.

Does anyone have the event code for the skintimate? I purchased 2 and no extra bucks.

Thanks

One store had a small car board like stand/display that went on shelves along with new cosmetic items where the perfumes/fragrances used to be. The other had the schick shave gel that gives ECB along with reg shave gels, but not new skintimate. The third store didn't have display and didn't have new Schick or Skintimate shave gel at all.

Just ask the employees if they have any new displays for the new Schick disposable razors in the ad this week, and they will know if they put out any or not! HTH

To my understanding the event code would be under the Schick disposable razor deal in this week ad which is now working on Shave gel as well. Event code- 10760175.

Experts, feel free to correct me if I'm wrong!;)

Answering my own Q: My reg store didn't get them, one other had k-cups and limit reached @ 1!

Did you buy the new Skintimate in the yellow cans?

armywifeandtwo 02-10-2013 07:45 PM

Got Sensitive Hydro + the Shea = got $8 ECB.
Did not have any other types at my store. Cardboard display in a random aisle on the bottom shelf. All had $1.50/1 peelies.

Did anyone try buying the Eucerin that is around $5, and if so, did it could toward the ECB deal? (This one: http://www.cvs.com/shop/product-d...uId=880782). All of the Eucerin at my store was tagged except that one, so I wasn't sure whether it would work.

Yes, the $4.99 one worked today. With the $2.00 coupon in todays RP and the 4/20 it's a great deal!

Did this item track for the deal? It has been on clearance and I didn't think it would track.

can anyone confirm if the dove deal spend 15 get 5 is tracking where you can buy ie: $30 and get $10 ecb printed? Or is it tracking $15 at a time like last week?
Seems like the limit is 10!

You can do 2 in the same transaction. I did $12 worth Saturday night, then $21 worth yesterday and got a $10 ECB.

Yes it does track, I purchased 3 and got $5.97 in tracking. It threw my totals off so I had to go grab 2 more refills to reach the $30.

My clearanced Conair hair rollers came with at added bonus.........HAIR wrapped around every roller that I picked up:vomit:
Thanks but no thanks, no deal is that good, they will be going back!

I bought a Softsoap Coconut & Warm Ginger Hand Soap 7.5 oz on clearance for .74 and it didn't count towards the Softsoap deal :(

lunarrainbow 02-11-2013 06:43 AM

There is a new FAR hangtag/peelie for Dickinson's Witch Hazel ($4.69 for bottle, $5.79 for towlettes). I couldn't find any Qs but in the past I have seen them at Walgreens. Makes a good filler/cash back option. You have a few years to find them (PM by 11/15/15).

On a side note, there was a great deal this summer in the Target thread that never went viral and it was referred to as "fishing" for fish (Van de Kamps) and birds (Birds Eye). I am hoping the "yellow can" deal and the "conan" deal don't go viral and infect the blogs

ISO: Any Wholly Salsa/Guac Qs (IPs okay), Pfizer MIR, Any MCR Codes. Have: Two Enfamil checks for $5 each exp 4/30/13, Baby & Dog Coupons, Witch Hazel FAR MIR Hangtag & Peelie, Quaker Real Medleys MIR

Check last week's deal thread. That's where the OP spelled out the deal in complete specifics. If memory serves, it was pretty early on in the thread.
