NY-area SDers, JetBlue is running a promo for 80% off NYC flights to select destinations which change daily, and short travel windows.

This is a Must-Be-Ready-To-Go type deal, and not for planning in advance. So you have to be in the NYC area, and either lucky you were already planning a trip, or are capable of spontaneously saying Let's Go! I can't take advantage of this deal, but maybe some fellow SDers can!

How to book:
Promo codes can only be redeemed online at jetblue.com/promo.
Search an eligible roundtrip flight.
Enter code in promo code field exactly as it appears. (Promo codes are case sensitive.)

Hm this is pretty tricky. If you can't depart either Tues (tomorrow) or Wed, then you can depart no earlier than Sunday or Monday, and have to return no later than Thursday or Friday, which makes it a pretty short vacation.

Although, since this 80% off makes the return flight cheaper than the usual one way fare, this could be more useful than I initially believed.

Yeah, they're pretty short windows so getting in is a longshot, but if the dates/destinations work it's a killer deal!

Did anyone see the actual prices? LGA>RSW must have been sold out when I checked because it's $200+ o/w.

I just checked and am seeing sub-$100 prices for LGA to RSW.

Are you going to www.jetblue.com/promo and making sure that you are typing in the promo code in all caps? It seems like it's case-sensitive.

Prices to St. Maarten and Costa Rica are in the $180s. Great deal if you can go.

JFK to St Martin 2/4 to 2/7 after discount $170.90. I also picked the quicker routes/ less duration time.

You can't look at the rates listed under each day. Have to look to the bottom right after selecting both flights and it will show the discount.

It really depends. I travel that route quite a bit and it can be from around low 300's to usually low 500's. Last few months have been expensive and on US Air, which sucks.

No JetBlue flights have WiFi, but they'll be adding WiFi soon. Their WiFi will be free, unlike everyone else's.

Cheapest roundtrip fare for LGA to RSW I came up with is $83.40. Absolutely amazing deal. The beaches on that side of Florida is top-rated and the weather today is very warm (I'm wearing shorts and a shirt... my neighbor has his A/C on...).

I was able to price out flights to Grand Cayman in the $150 range and to Bermuda and Portland in the $130s.
