Has very good reviews. I need a bag for my Nikon D5100. I'm assuming this would hold the D5100 as well?

Would it look weird carrying my Nikon camera in a bag that says canon on it?

Yeah, id be like replacing your kia rio badges with a porsche 911 badge. Total poser. :bounce:

But yes your gear would fit as well. The equipment is all very very similar in size.

Excellent! Thank you!

I'm going to buy it to replace my Sony bag (starting to fall apart) I'm currently using which used to hold my A330 :lmao:

TheWilliam 01-31-2013 11:09 AM

is this site trustworthy?

on another note, it holds 3 lenses and 2 bodies. I only have 2 lenses and 1 body. probably way too big for me anyway

Yes they are.

Actually don't cross it out for those reasons. Remember you still will have other gear that will fill the other areas like filters, blowers, hoods, flashes etc. You will be buying more gear in the future, and this bag will grow with you.

BeLiEvE0101 01-31-2013 11:13 AM

Man, I keep buying Lowepro and Crumpler bags, but they've never large enough to hold all my gear in one go. Maybe I'll just use this for storage at home. Thanks!

I have this bag and I think I paid $10 to $15 more for it this past holiday season.

This is a very good quality bag and the dividers are removeable and adjustable. There are latches on the bottom so you can use it to carry your tripod too.

Parachute07 01-31-2013 11:26 AM

You can often get this bag somewhere around this price point because plenty of people get it bundled with cameras and they may not need it

One note - if you travel a lot internationally, you may want to look at getting something like an Amazon basics bag that doesn't shout,"I have an expensive camera and equipment in this bag" the way a bag with a camera company logo does.

SkyyPunk 01-31-2013 11:27 AM

Add it to cart and price goes up to $27 :(

Yeah that was pretty lame, I was ready to buy but I don't really like the bait and switch tactic.

sticker56 01-31-2013 11:31 AM

Very good bag - holds camera body with a lens, a spare lens, and external flash easily in the main compartment. Plenty of extra room in the side pockets for other miscellaneous.

100% agreed. I took the megabus to travel once and I carried my camera gear in my Amazon Basics bag... I felt safe knowing that people did not know what was in it :D

Nikon users shouldn't put their equipment in Canon bags. It makes you look like an amateur photographer.

I wouldn't sweat it.... but if you purchase the bag, you can certainly look to see if the canon 'badge' can be removed. I have debadged all my equipment bags just so folks don't think "gee, that would be nice to steal" when they see it sitting on the ground.

any comments on using this bag for a canon t2i with a battery grip attached? far to many of these cases can handle long lenses, but don't have any additional space for an attached battery grip.

Works on online only items. You have to go in store and order at a kiosk though.

SkyyPunk 02-01-2013 10:10 AM

got $3 refund from buydig (ordered when $27). Just expected a 'no' but they gave me the runaround. They asked for a link to the product (linked them to their own page, not sure why they needed that), then they said they would get back to me in a day. Today they said they don't see the price listed there. I didn't really care, figured if it was easy to get it back no problem, otherwise still a decent price. So I just told them it was listed at $24 when I originally sent the request in assuming that was it and they would say nope. Just got confirmation of $3 refund!

slicksder 02-19-2013 10:59 AM

After I bought a lowepro fastpack and a sling bag, I won't go back to these shoulder bags.

gregpl90 02-19-2013 01:59 PM

In 4 1, replacing my canon 100eg.. hopefully wont be too big in person.

The Champ 02-19-2013 04:34 PM

I own this bag and it is great. I don't take it when I travel (I prefer something smaller), but use it as a place to store my camera and three lenses.

stayhumble 02-19-2013 05:37 PM

hey, im a professional photographer in Southern California and am selling the Canon 200DG bag for $35 shipped via USPS Priority and Paypal. It's a much better bag than the one there on sale

Got 2 left.

Not trying to threadcrap, but...

If you have an SLR, you need to buy a 'real' gear bag, like the Lowepro FlipSide 300. Yes it costs more (~$60-90), but didn't you spend $1000++ on your gear? Solid structure, substantial padding, waterproofing, and portability are crucial for a gear bag, and the buydig bag (chinese canon knockoff?) would not fit the bill for me.

$24 is a good deal if you JUST need a bag to keep your stuff in one place.

lnatividad 02-19-2013 08:19 PM

In for one, great price at 24 OP!

I got that Lowpro bag, awesome bag! I just bought this bag because if I do ever sell my camera, which I will, I can tell them I got an offical Canon bag! :bounce:

neotribal 02-20-2013 08:15 AM

I have a comfy Domke bag that lives on my shoulder, but this roomy Canon bag makes a perfect padded storage container at home. I keep all my extra gear in it that I don't normally carry daily (flashgun, specialized lenses, filters, adapters, etc). This makes it very easy to pick up and go if you need to carry all your gear somewhere to shoot. It's already stored in a bag with a strap ^_^

I like it. A lil bigger than what i was expecting.
but what bugs me is that it says "REBEL" in bright bold lettering. So i'm often afraid its gonna get stolen.

thumper300zx 02-28-2013 08:49 AM

I got one of these as part of a Canon bundle -- while it's fine, I strongly recommend Amazon's DSLR basics backpack instead (at this price, which it does occasionally go on sale for).

mindzipper 02-28-2013 08:57 AM

I second this. I got this bag with my Canon and hated it. The Amazon Basics back is large, but much better.

I agree with your point. But for people like me it's a secondary bag.

I have a very nice Tamrac 697-01 LP7 which is a rolling bag (and god awful expensive) but it drives me nuts I don't have a small pack and go bag. I think that's primarily what this is made for.

Black Sharpie will fix that, but if someone is out to steal a camera bag he/she will know what will a camera bag will look like no matter if there is a brand on it or not.

rustum 02-28-2013 09:16 AM

I got similar bag made by Zeikos which looks terrible compared to this. Just a silly question? Do you guys keep camera with lens pointing downwards. Isn't keeping camera backside facing downwards good idea with tilt screen.

Thanks OP!!! Repped and TU!!

Will go nicely with the T4i Bundle I bought on Sunday (eBay Daily Deal w/ Buydig.com)!!
The bundle comes with this:
"Zeikos - Compact Deluxe Gadget Bag for Photo/Video"

But it didn't look all that great (will get my hands on it tomorrow) from the pics and this is "Name Brand" to match !!! Almost make look like a professional, now if I can just get pics to match ....LOL:)

Damn SD been makin' me spend a LOT of money lately!!! I hate the SD bug ...must get hands out of pockets!!

In this case, it'd be like switching badges between Mercedes and Porsche, since they're kind of equal in price (a la Nikon and Canon). Btw, "poseur" is the correct term; "poser" is a person who poses (for a picture, etc.). :D

WannabeTechie2 03-01-2013 03:29 AM

Thanks OP, in for one as I am always trying to fit 10lbs of stuff in a 5lbs bag. This will give me plenty of room to grow my lense collection too. Repped!

bean373 03-01-2013 06:34 AM

I was able to add item to cart today. Tried numerous times yesterday but wasn't able to. Thanks OP.

The Dolica bag I got from Amazon was poorly constructed and has torn in a lot of places. I needed something bigger anyway.

mindzipper 03-01-2013 09:15 AM

took a day, but got this finally.

Tried numerous VM isntalls, different PCs in the house etc, it wouldn't let me add it to the cart. Even thought maybe it was location dependent and tried using my VPN and still couldn't add it.

Came back today just to check (found this on amazon for 7 bucks more) and it worked. yay!

Got one for me yesterday (at the amazon price) and 3 today for 2 friends and one family member. All picture taker fiends.

thanks for listing this!
