Awesome, thank you! Remember to bookmark and check this website often. It lists all the codes and usually is scanned once a day for new codes.

Thanks for the link, that's a big help.

TU & THANKS I normally check the twitter, so I miss these other ones like FB ones or w/e. I wish they'd give out another long-lasting 5-keys pack so all my friends I recruited on a recent 30$ amazon sale could get hella sweet loot.

Thanks for the heads up

Every time this thread pops up I'm reminded how Borderlands 2 sucks. Yes, people. The more you want these keys the more you acknowledge that the game's drop rate is a joke. It's really sad and insidious. Gearbox did it to help promote the game via the social media, but in order for it to work they had to destroy the game's core mechanic in the process. It's much more satisfying to earn the loot rather than be given it by the benevolent game makers. Why even bother playing the game when you can get the best stuff with no effort (other than following Gearbox)? In the long term this makes players want to get handouts rather than go out and earn their stuff, turning them into moochers.

So sad.

Troll post, move along.

If you think this is a substitute for going out at level 50 and killing the big raid bosses for THEIR gear, you're delusional. I use my keys when I hit 37-38 on my alts, and have even used them sooner than that.

Sadly, it seems you haven't played enough to learn about the orange legendary items. Those are actually the best items you can get. The purple items you get from these keys are a class below the legendary item and often lack the special effects that accompany lengendary items.

Yeah, just dismiss my observations and label me a troll (telling others to ignore me). Typical tactics for stiffling debate. I must have defeated Terra 100 times and he only droppped an orange sniper that shoots 3 rows of bullets, using up 6 or more ammo per shot. Considering how little sniper ammo you can carry the gun's completely worthless. I have more than a dozen legendaries, and most of them are just a novelty. Then you have maybe a 1% drop rate on the legendaries, and forget about purchasing any or winning one from the slot machine (making money worthless).

In a typical game you'll get a handful of purples and they usually suck. The only gun type worth having is a Vladof, and their best gun is Anarchist (freakin full-auto pistol surpassing all "Assault Rifles" in every way). No Atlas, only 1 or 2 good manufacturers, joke drop rate, tons of worthless loot, useless money are all result of the "gold box". But go ahead and be grateful to gearbox for their generosity (only towards those that follow them on social media).

chenga91, go easy on the assumptions. I platinumed both B1 and B2.

edited to add:

Farming RAID bosses is only possible at level 50, and the legendaries you get from them are unusable for characters used during normal gameplay. This way it's very rare to get useful legendaries for characters going through the story. In other words, RAID legendaries only help fighting RAID bosses.

I have to admit the "golden box" thing is not nearly as cool as I would have hoped. Over all even if you have unlimited keys what you get out of the box isn't that cool. I much preferred BL1 sure I farmed endless hours of boxes but something about it just seemed more genuine and there were more interesting items. Things like the Bee Shield being nerfed have drained my will to push on and their add-ons push to buy a season pass has turned me off. I got one free (the mechromancer) so that means buying the set would be a waste (but save me 10 dollars someday) and the actual details of the expansions haven't sounded nearly as cool as zombies for instance.
