Yes, 2 "Bundles" (4 mags) will be $20, 3 Bundles (6 mags) will be $30, etc..

Mandamus 02-01-2013 01:25 PM

Rats. These are not the kinds of magazines I was looking for.

Looks like if you want to order more than 2 magazines, they will only be $3.99 each. Not a bad deal!

Mandamus 02-01-2013 01:33 PM

How is this seller. I have seen it before. Is it reliable?

NoDealNoBuy 02-01-2013 01:37 PM

Waste of money. Won't support liberal magazines.

How is a magazine like Car & Driver liberal... is it because they only drive cars with steering wheels on the LEFT side?

C00LAS1CE 02-01-2013 03:24 PM

What happens if you already subscribe to the mag - will it just extend your subscription? And is this site reputable? There aren't many ratings on the reseller ratings site:

It's hit or miss. If they say 6-8 weeks make sure you add a reminder to your calendar 8 weeks out to check on the subscription/renewal and follow-up with customer service if needed. I've had one go through without a problem and one that was never processed and required my intervention.

jezzdogg 02-01-2013 07:37 PM

Order some from them with no problems
Order Marie Caire from amazon and had nothing but problems. finally amazon was nice enough to cancel and get my $$ back (marie claire co,pany wrote me a letter that basically said my mailman was taking it)

Viral_Dog 02-01-2013 09:13 PM

Are these set to auto-renew if I use Paypal to pay?

Once the sub is up do they automatically charge your account or do you have to re-sub?

DiscountMags does not auto-renew - doesn't matter what payment method you use.

No, DiscountMags does not auto-renew. When the sub expires, that's it. If you want to continue to receive the magazine you need to order it again (not necessarily from DiscountMags).

Yes, it will extend your current sub. Use the exact same name/addy that is on the mailing label of your magazine. If you don't know - check your account at the magazine website.

If you end up with duplicates for some reason - contact the magazine directly and ask them to merge the two accounts.

I've been ordering from DiscountMags for years, I haven't found them to be 'hit or miss' at all. The few times I've had to contact customer service and they've always resolved whatever my issue was.

JumpJumpGang 02-02-2013 05:34 AM

Thanks, FYI can't combine this deal with coupons or cashback portals. I ordered 3 mags. Note that you get the same price if you subscribe for 2 years instead of 1.

sacflies 02-02-2013 09:27 AM

So if I already have a subscription to a magazine, can I select this same magazine as 3 of my selections on the special offer and have this add 3 years to my subscription to this magazine? I assume it will work like that, if I click "Renewal" for each selection? Wanting to add to 3 more years of Sound & Vision at the discounted prices.

Order all my magazines from them. Have for several years. No problems. First issue may take 2-3 months, though.

When I find a good deal, I just choose renew, and it tacks on another year to my sub. In other words, you can renew anytime from my experience.

However, question for the OP...I just got the email from them today...did you get yours yesterday or did you find the deal another way? I have missed these brief deals from them due to late emails in the past. Any ideas?

Haha...tell us if it works! But you can choose up to 3 years renewal of course in the drop down.

This is great. Never seen Dwell on sale before, usually $20/yr. Worth it for that alone, so got 2 years for $20 (basicially considering 2nd mag, GQ, as a freebie).

ghostofdavid 02-02-2013 08:46 PM

I'll take one for a Sig 226 and an M&P Pro.

kelly72 02-02-2013 11:22 PM

subscribe to it for the iPad access. Very convenient.

Thanks OP, just got me 3 years for GQ and Maxim for only $30
