.380ACP FMJ Ammo, 20.7 cents per round shipped

1 Attachment(s)
Target Sports USA [targetsportsusa.com] has Russian/Wolf .380ACP (aka 9mm short, 9mm Kurz, 9x17mm, 9mm Browning) for $348.50/shipped fro a case of 1680 rounds.

You can buy it by the box, for $7.26/35 rounds, but then have to pay shipping.

Now, this is not a thread to debate calibers, this is a thread for people who might wish to purchase .380ACP rounds at a very good price.

Reputable seller?

DieselJunkie 02-01-2013 05:04 PM

Have bought from them on 6 occasions in the past 30 months. Never a problem. Haven't bought since panic set in, just ordered the .380 ammo yesterday, but I figure just like the other 6 times the ammo will show up shortly after it ships with no problems.

m00ky 02-01-2013 05:06 PM

20.7 cents per round is a good price? This is a great price!

For .380ACP, yes it is (I should have said great....but that's a strong word! lol). I challenge anyone to find it cheaper and in stock. Wolf is usually around 27-29 cents per round at regular price.

.380ACP is usually about 30% more than 9mm Luger.

spydersdeals69 02-01-2013 05:33 PM

In for 16,800,000 rounds...just enough to keep me protected for the next month! :woot:

Thanks op, GREAT PRICE,

different brand was 39.5cents at the big box discount store per 100 box just before the real recent crunch hit, haven't seen it since. got 3 boxes then, case now, will be plinking away.

repped, as near half price, on something this hard to come by is pretty slick indeed.

Jr3d 02-01-2013 05:50 PM

My local indoor range barks about russian made stuff. Bullet consistency damages the backstop, so they say. This is by far the best price I've seen, nice find.

pizzaslut 02-01-2013 06:00 PM

Dang, wish this was slightly less in quantity. Fantastic price but I don't want to drop $300+ right now.

So buy by the box instead of by the case? :dontknow:

Same here. Great price but I would never shoot 1600 rounds of 380.

Spock1234 02-01-2013 06:59 PM

Bond ...... James Bond

Finally, some good ammo for my trusty Walther PPK.

And, at this price I'll have a few Quid left over for a Martini.

jimx200 02-01-2013 07:02 PM

Love the .380cal! Have a Bersa Thunder and it's a rock solid, well made, well priced pistol that has never had a FTF..spits out every brand I have tried.
Thank OP..solid deal!

Ferrous1 02-01-2013 07:06 PM

This is a KILLER deal on these bullets.

jfreak623 02-01-2013 07:18 PM

may be a silly question but if this is so great, why does it say regular price 7.90, on sale for 7.26?

I explored that option but shipping was something ridiculous like $22 which degrades the slickness of this deal.

Plus, my local WalMart had five boxes of Tula .380 for $14 last time I was there so it seems supply is beginning to filter back in.

I dont particularly care for wolf ammunition, but at this time in our political culture this price is downright awesome. I'm loving this deal.

This I can understand. .380 is good for C&C but if I am target shooting or at a range, I want 9mm or greater. Still, I am not complaining about these prices at all. Always good to have some extra ammo laying around, even if it's dirty russian ammo.

Same here on the Bersa. Great PPK clone. But I really am concerned about feeding her steel cased ammo.

Because right now, finding some at regular price is a great deal. Cheaper than regular price is super slick.

Ok, I'll me "That Guy".

Bond shot a .32 cal.

:)

Kant 02-01-2013 08:16 PM

Great deal, here [bersachat.com]is a pretty detailed conversation about the downsides to shooting steel casings through the Bersa.

SpankN 02-01-2013 08:17 PM

Been needing some practice ammo. I've never used this stuff but hoping it works out in my Sig P238.

Sadly adding on any boxes of extra ammo adds on shipping.

DoctorD0S 02-01-2013 08:20 PM

Great price but I can't stomach that many rounds. If it was free shipping on about 1/2 the quantity I would be all over it.

milzinga 02-01-2013 09:24 PM

Ugh, I need 9mm!!

alexpapa17 02-01-2013 10:36 PM

you could kill a lot of bad guys with that

drksde69 02-01-2013 11:08 PM

order 4 box....thanks repped

You don't have to shoot it all in one range sitting. It isn't like it is going to go bad anytime soon, and a case of ammo takes up very little space. Store it.

Or, if you know of some folks that could use the ammo, find a friend or two and split the shipment.

captweedwacker 02-02-2013 08:19 AM

This really isn't Wolf ammo. It's manufactured by LVE which makes arguably the best Russian pistol ammo. I love shooting LVE in my Makarovs and CZ82s. This will be great ammo for your 380. It should be a pretty hot load if it's similar to the 9x18. If I didn't already have a bunch of 380 stashed away, I'd be all over this. I wouldn't worry about the bimetallic casing. I shoot a lot of Combloc ammo and have never had any extractor issues in my Glock, Berreta, Sig, or Springfield.

humblepie 02-02-2013 12:03 PM

Bought a few cases. Although it looks like it will be a few months before the ammo comes in. Luckily I still have a few thousand rounds to use in the mean time.

fivelstang4 02-02-2013 01:13 PM

In for a case. Can't beat 5 cents a round.

kbenson 02-02-2013 01:24 PM

Nice find op repped!

btw seems wolf ammo is leading the charge with availability. Smart of them (wolf) to add more to the supply chain.

crrusher 02-03-2013 11:11 AM

Sold Out :-(

Acutley, the 1st Bond issued sidearm was a Browning .25 ACP, replaced after he was almost killed due to a hang up with his pants.

There where numerous others he used from time to time as well, but most known for the 7.65 Walter.

Bond carried a P99 not a PK that I am aware of.
