Wow, thank you for sharing!

Listerine mouthwash (1L) is 3.99, there s $2 coupon, plus $1 ups, .99 for a 1 L one is not too bad

Irish Spring body wash has a $1 MQ insert, should Mae it very cheap.

gswood 02-02-2013 09:02 AM

Vaseline s 2.99 get back $2 ups, there may have a $1 MQ too

Stayfree doesn't show a dollar sign,

warcraft82 02-02-2013 09:40 AM

Halls Cough Drops 30ct $0.99 -> $1/2 coupon from the 2/3 SS

MoneyMags 02-02-2013 11:18 AM

Still plenty of Natural Instincts & Nice n Easy hair color at 75% off ($2.24 - $2.74ish each). Should be a nice MM if the clearance ones trigger the $2+Up ... use the $5/2 Natural Instincts or the $2/1 any Clairol hair color coupons from the latest P&G.

FYI - Clairol hair color isn't part of anniversary rewards according to the list.

Kris7828 02-03-2013 06:15 PM

charliegirl 02-03-2013 06:36 PM

Irish spring expires 2/9 unless a new one is out.

11.99 x 3 = 36 - 5vv - 5vv - 5vv -1q -1q -1q = 18 - 5up - 5up = 8
$36 counting on RA50 is $7.20up worth.
L'oreal rebate requires $30 on one receipt; this will qualify.

I only have 2 VV but it looks like more expensive items are $5 off retail

This is not good. I've been refraining myself from going to RA this week because I don't want to be stuck with the $20 anniversary +UP (am only $1.34 away from it) but I really need to do some more shopping by Saturday. Unfortunately that still won't carry me into the week of March 3rd.:(

Since my store is always out of stock, I get a lot of rain checks. When I'm stuck, I go to my stash.

I always try to use the big UPS first ($10 and $20) even if they have later expiration dates. They can be very hard to move.

And every time I get panicky, a RA deal always seems to pop up.

Thank you, but like you said when we wait till saturday, everything will be out of stock. I didn't know you can get a rain check, but will you still be able to use your coupons on the rain check even if the coupon expires ? Thx

Sorry I meant to say buying it on Saturday WON'T carry me into the following week. Unless I did my calculations wrong, a +up earned on Saturday, Feb 16th will have a valid date of Sunday, Feb 17th - Saturday, March 2nd.

All Loreal Cosmetics B1G150% $10 UP wyb $30 Limit 2

This deal catches my attention the most. The cheapest Loreal cosmetic item at my store are the eyeshadow reg price $4.89. Next cheapest Loreal cosmetic item are the reg price $5.89 eyeshadow.

Buy 1 Loreal eyeshadow @ $5.89 = $5.89
Buy 7 Loreal eyeshadow @ $4.89 = $24.43
*Will ring up $2.44 + $4.89 + $2.44 + $4.89 + $2.44 + $4.89 + $2.44 = $24.43

Use 8 $3/1 Loreal Paris cosmetic face product excludes Magic Perfecting Base 0.17 FL OZ mini size (3/2/2013) RP#2 (1/6/2013)

OOP: $6.32. Get $10 UP. $3.68 MM. Also counts towards 50th Anniversary Promo. Although there is no blue dollar sign in the ad, it is listed as a participating product.

Just a heads up but you might want to price check the Loreal cosmetics before buying them because many of the Loreal cosmetics at my store are tagged clearance 50% off including the cheap eyeshadows. Took a few pics of the clearance Loreal.

I plan on buying 1 eyeshadow that is reg price $5.89 so $2.94 (50% clearance) and using $3 Q to see if it tracks for the UP deal. If it tracks, Im going to buy 20 more. So it would be $2.94 x 21 = $61.74. Use 21 $3 Q = $63. OOP: $1.26 overage so coupons will need to be adjusted down. Get back 2 $10 UP and $61.74 towards 50th Anniversary Promo which is equivalent to about $12. Possible $32 MM.

In regards to the "face product" Q, I have seen this debated both ways. Most couponers will interpret the face product Q as anything on the face which includes eyes and lips. Most cashiers will accept the Q after they verified that you have purchased a cosmetic item that applies to the face like an eyeshadow. I have already asked my manager at Rite Aid and CVS if I can use the $3 Q on the eyeshadow and they couldnt think of a reason as to why I couldnt use it. Ultimately, it is up to your store whether to accept the coupon or not.

I never tried with expired coupons, but if you do get rain checks, make sure they write it reflecting the UPS you should have received.

I am wondering if these are beepers for the eyeshadow. Difficult to push through 8 $3 coupons unless they are beepless. TIA

Yep. I learned early on in my couponing career that eye makeup is not face makeup (as a guy, I had never bought either before). You may be able to get them pushed through, but they're not really for those products.

nuffsaid 02-15-2013 09:47 AM

The classic eye vs face debate has been rehashed many times

Please do not revisit this.
yes... eyes are on the face
was it the MQ intent for usage???... probably not

SD does not try to interpret the intention of the q..
everyone will have a YMMV according to the mgr/cashier/ wind blowing and if you are wearing purple pants while trying to use the q

please take the deal if you want it, and leave it if you do not feel it is correct

thank you

This coupon has been out before. It will beep on the eyeshadow unless they have changed the programming. Last time my store pushed them thru (I remember cashier commenting that the ONLY exclusion was magic serum...or whatever it is) so he was OK with it.

The monthly Natrol/Laci LaBeau vitamin and diet supplement deal may be how I am going to have to roll some. Although I can wait until the next sales week to see if I will have to do this. I didn't do it yet because I really didn't want any of the products.

And I have been putting off buying Sharpies, Art Skills, and the Banana Boat. And I am really hoping all the White Hot Ducks I ordered will come in but they are on back order so I am not counting on them.

exactly
but I am going to use an anniversary UP to make this truly free (otherwise I am paying tax for this roll, and a hefty $40 worth of tax potentially too)
and I am going to burn $70 on the Smart TV Adapter (against my better judgement b/c I don't buy Craig, but I have nothing better to do with my $ now that SCRs are gone)
Craig counts towards anniversary too

I have been using my Anniversary UPs wisely to reduce tax and if I were going to do the Natrol it would be with the RA48 UPs.

I don't know about the smart tv adapter but my Craig TV I got at RA hasn't had any trouble. If I had enough UPs to blow, I would consider that adapter. I like paying zero dollars for stuff like that.

My Natrol was NOT taxable in my highly taxed state of NY. Make sure its taxable before you waste the RA 48.

Good point. Vitamins get taxed here but the herbal teas aren't taxed as they are considered food.

Well, sort of. I bought the Craig 32" TV the first week of the new promotion. Apparently the TV is not included. We went round and round on this and they eventually credited me the cost. They said it (the TV) was among the Craig items not included. I would assume the Adapter would work...but be advised, some Craig items are not included.

$19.99 .. bought about 8 of them the past couple weeks ... they were a great deal with the January $3 VV and $4/1 MFC (with no size restriction)... stil a great deal without the VV

19.99 * 2 * gold level = 31.98
15 UP, 2 $4/1 MFCs = 8.98 and 6.39 counting for Anniv Promo

MM with the CG eyeshadow deal if you have 3 different wellness cards in your household:

Buy 20 eyeshadows, 10 at $3.39, 10 at $1.69 = $50.80
-10 $3/2 1/27 PG
-5 $3 up limit 2 per card
-$15 MIR
=$9.20 MM

Of course this would be broken up with 8 eyeshadows with the first wellness card, 8 eyeshadows with the 2nd wellness card, and 4 eyeshadows with the third wellness card.

It's even better than that ...

So $50 (total) on three cards => $10up worth

Yes. The CG is what I need to get to the RA50 $20 up. I bought some CG eyeshadow last week and have the receipts dated after the 13th. I'm going to have enough eyeshadow to last me the rest of my life.

PG rebates in the past have allowed multiple receipts.

im wondering if this is still the same promo as last month. i bought 4 of these for the last anniversary promo, and got them. i dont have a limit on the bottom of my receipt anymore, but i hate to waste UPs to test that fact, but i cant find anywhere if its the same promo or not.

if you "need" to rack up $60 (14.99 x 4) for RA50, you can test it paying for 1 with cash/credit and if it gives you and Up, use ups for the other 3. if the 1st one doesn't give you an Up, you can return it easily.
(i didn't see the start date on the tag; i hadn't done it in the past.)

In the past, whenever PG has MIRs in which they want a "receipt" instead of "receipts" it is stipulated very clearly. Here is a concurrent PG MIR- for example - this one requires purchases at certain grocery stores and emphasizes that all products must be on one receipt.

Just call PG CS and ask, they most likely will say multiples are OK, get a reference number, and post what they say here....'nuffsaid ...then move on.

This was being discussed in the CVS thread, although I haven't been able to get the form to download in any browser, it was mentioned that the actual upc's are needed from products that it will not desroy and/or graphics/scans of products that cannot have the upc removed. :dontknow: Leave it to P&G to put in some twists and turns. Maybe they want one receipt like L'Oreal to do a study on how many people are following their redemption rules and/or stores. You just never know. Perhaps they just had a monkey write the fine print. :lmao: :dontknow:

I also posted in the insert thread that there's a nice P&G pull-out in the current March issue of Ebony. Well nice in today's standards--I typed out the list in the 2/17 insert thread, for lack of a better place. Here's a link to the post;

Nature made vit D worked great. Bought 10 at $5.49 bogo 50, used 10 $2 q, paid $20, got 2 $5 ups,
Plus $40 toward anniv and $40 toward diabetes.

I'm $4 short of diab up, any ideas?

Shellbellster 02-17-2013 11:54 AM

Has anyone checked the Ace and Futuro items to see if it is a DD this week? I know it has a monthly deal of spend $25 get $10 and this week's ad doesn't say it is a monthly deal. It is probably the same deal but, one could hope.

Field Report

1) My Mitchum coupons expired on 2/10! What gives?! Is there on that isn't expired? (edit * duh - guess I grabbed the wrong ones, I see there are some in SS2/10)
2) Anyone else notice that the M&M VV expired on 2/14....grrrrr. (edit* must have grabbed the wrong one - is there another one that isn't for valentine's?)
3) Vaseline bonus size tagged and works for UPs - tried all flavors.
4) Loreal clearance darn near wiped out at my main store - scenario as posted worked like a charm and as expected - $3MQ beeped (no problem on the push thru)
5) In-Ad RAQ for softsoap beeped on each kind I got. 11 digits didn't work either (unless they were input wrong)
6) All other UPs printed as expected.
7) Valentine's M&Ms at 50% off do NOT work for the UPs.... had to try! ;)

For L'Oreal Advanced haircare, you can use the $2/1 VVQ instead. And, although they are on sale for $3.99 this week, making them free after VVQ and MQ (1/27 RP2), they are regularly priced $4.99... So they've been and will continue to be $3.99/free after Qs if you have gold discount. ;)

If you're not doing the Osteo Bi-Flex deal simply to roll +ups and truly want the best deal on this product, you might want to wait until next week as it will be BOGO. (Note that 1/06RP Qs expire 2/20, but the 2/10RP Qs won't be expired.)

I'm mentioning alternatives because, perhaps, there are others like me who are often frustrated with the problem of low/no stock on most, if not all, of the weekly deal items. I find it helps to know when there are other options. ;)

Thanks

It's a new monthly for anyone wondering started 1/27 I think
It does not include the DVD's this time:(

Natrol worked like a charm, manage to get my total to just over $40 and got back 2 $20 ups! :woot:

Forgot to mention I found another medium good deal if you have to roll this week.

One of the monthly Sanford items UP is $5 when you buy sharpie 8 packs regular retail 9.99 (7.99 gold), I found a couple bonus packs that basically had 16 sharpies total.
So $3.00 for 16 sharpies

Yes, you're right, the VVQ states "treatment." Why they have images of shampoo all over the video and accompanying graphic has me confused. :confuse3:

I did this deal with Jan VVQs, but I don't remember what those said and I have yet to use the Feb ones.

Does the BOGO sale come with UPs too? If not, I think this week is better...see below. ;)

By the way...modified my own scenario in store today...turns out a bit better OOP but ends up same price/pill.
$29.99 x 2 (80ct)
$21.99 (40ct)
$65.58 (gold)
- 2 x $5 MQ (70+ct)
- 1 x $3 MQ
OOP: $52.58 get back $30 UPs
$22.58 for 200 tablets

If you buy 3 x 80ct your final OOP is ~$27 for 240 tablets (my original scenario)

Next week: $29.99 BOGO
- $5 MQ wyb 2
= $24.99 OOP for 160 Tablets(2 x 80ct bottles)

This week is better. Even if your store lets you use another $5 MQ on the free one (mine would) You still end up paying $20 for 160 tablets.

If the $2 L'Oreal RAQ beeps ( it has on some of mine and other times it hasn't)
they just have to put in the 11 digits and it goes through fine.

Many of the Seen on TV items are clearanced at 50% off. Those needing to roll UPs might think of some as gift items.

In particular the AHH bra is 9.99 and DOES count for the anniversary promotion. Reviews are not great but I think it is worth 9.99

I just got it to work. make sure you copy everything in your personal url AFTER the = then paste it into the link provided. I highlighted the link, scrolled over to the end which is the = and copied/pasted my e-mail and all the numbers after , and it worked. Good luck, hope this helped!

I had trouble as well. For my emailed coupons, I noticed that I had at least two different identifying numbers.

Only one set of identifying numbers worked.

Open two different sets of emailed coupons and try each of the numbers.

I only have 1 email from RA and it is a glam camp email coupon. Maybe that is why I can't get it to work?

Anyone know if RUSK is a DD this week? My store had tags on an end cap for $10 UP for the $19.99 bottle of RUSK shampoo then in the regular shampoo aisle, there is a spend $20 get $10 UP. If no one has tried it, I will go back today and see. Never mind, my store had the wrong item tagged for the Monthly UP

Also, found some clearance Banana Boat deep tanning dry oil spf 4 for $5.24 (did not ring up at clearance price, had to be adjusted) anyway, I received the $5UP on it. UPC 79656 04663

stitchshopgirl 02-18-2013 11:54 AM

Is there a monthly on the RUSK?

I'm interested in the Ace/Futuro, but haven't had time to test it. Mom needs a couple of the CT braces and they are pricey.

Apparently there is no monthly on the RUSK. :sadwalk: My store had the item marked for a $10 Monthly, but it did not print :( Wasn't a total loss for me though, I did get my $10 Anniversary UP plus a $10 GC for the UP that I should have received and $15.99 towards the spend $20 get $10

I was too chicken to try the Ace/Futuro on Sunday but I'm gonna try it either tonight or tomorrow night. I'm so close to my next anniversary up reward that I will still come out making money if it doesn't DD.

Even if your store lets you use another $5 MQ on the free one (mine would) You still end up paying $20 for 160 tablets.

No, there won't be +ups involved with the Osteo Bi-flex next week, and I did figure using an MQ on both items as I forgot the policy regarding 2 qs on a bogo sale since my stores allow it.

What I DIDN'T figure in was gold pricing! I did the comparisons in my mind forgetting that gold would get 20% without a sale! :facepalm:And I have 3 gold cards no less!

So yes, you are correct this week is better, UNLESS you don't have gold pricing AND you are able to use 2 MQs on a BOGO sale... which makes my original post almost... entirely... irrelevent...

Not the OP, but wanted to let you know the $3 qs did beep for me. The cashier thought it was because there was no place on the eyeshodow that 'Paris' was written and the coupon said on Loreal Paris product. He took the product and coupon to the store manager and asked if it was okay usage - friendly manager said 'yes, all Loreal products are Loreal Paris'. Way To Go friendly manager!

check out your profile on riteaid.com - sign in to wellness + and then check your programs link to see if emails are selected.

this may or may not fix the problem though, because I can't seem to get emails on a card that I've had ever since I started couponing. but when I got a new card and selected this it worked.

I called to ask (877-821-2357). I was told that it had to be all on one receipt. I asked again and said that multiple receipts were allowed on previous rebates. He repeated just one receipt. Please feel free to tell me I am wrong.

One receipt deal:

$3.39 +1.69 = 5.08 x 10 (20 eye shadows) = $50.80 - $30 (10 x 3/2mq) - 6 (2 x 3 UPs wyb $20 L2) - 10 ($10 wyb $50) - 15 rebate = $4.20 MM + 20 free eye shadows

I am assuming this is done on a card that has already received the $20/100, but you could use it to get halfway to $20/50.

i had the same issue too with 2 of 3 transactions i did last week, whereas the 2nd LOreal RAQ (expired 2/22/13) was rejected (saying i need to buy 1 cent more)... upon further look of my 3 purchases, the one that both RAQs went thru is one where i bought 2 shampoos... and the 2 that got 1 of 2 RAQs rejected were when i bought one of each (shampoo/conditioner)... i will try again later and see if okay with buying just 2 shampoos and report back...

On the back of the John Frieda $3/2 peelie for Sheer Blonde Everlasting Blonde shampoo or conditioner is an offer for $5/2 if you tell then what you think: The survey has 28 questions and takes about 5 minutes to complete.

Is John Frieda shampoo/conditioner tracking for anniversary promo properly for everyone? I bought Brilliant Brunnette conditioner on Saturday but it didn't add to my total. I called and after looking into it for a while they said they submitted the request to manually add it to my account but it's Tuesday already and it still hasn't been added.

If the $2 L'Oreal RAQ beeps ( it has on some of mine and other times it hasn't)
they just have to put in the 11 digits and it goes through fine.

I did the nz meter today and the cashier saying need 1 cent to use the $10 off coupon, I then added 22 cents chocolate, still not working, then called manager and told me they can't adjust MQ so I didn't buy it.

I am wondering if I can try to use coupon tomorrow before I scan my wellness card?

I can't find any loreal shampoo MQ ? Wondering if it is regional? Thanks

I had trouble as well. For my emailed coupons, I noticed that I had at least two different identifying numbers.

Only one set of identifying numbers worked.

Open two different sets of emailed coupons and try each of the numbers.

For all the Natrol deal talk, I thought I'd mention a DD idea I posted in the monthly thread here. I love MMs and not just the chocolate kind!

Technically, not a DD ... just advance use of next week's RAQ ... the deal remains the same: Natrol $20 +up wyb $20 deal (L2) ... use 1 or 2 $2 off 1 RAQ.

I used the term "DD" loosely there. But, no matter how you define DD, this is still an MM!

Same thing happened with me. They ended up having to modify the meter to $10 for the coupon to work.

shom33 02-19-2013 09:10 PM

I had the same problem. Went to 4 stores in my area and none had the meter. Finally the 5th store had it and the coupon wouldn't scan because of the $0.01 difference. The cashier and manager refused to price modify the item of adjust the coupon down. I took my coupon and left.

I had a bad trip to rite aid after work tonight. I went in for a quick stop to pick up two bags of m&ms and use my. $1.00 vv coupon and my $1.50 mq... The $1.00 vv coupon went through fine but the $1.50 manufacture coupon beeped... The cashier was rude and said that those coupons arent registering for the holiday m&ms.. I told her they worked fine for the valentines m&ms and then she pushed the coupon through... This cashier loves trying to prove me wrong... Ugh annoying! Oh and when i walked in the door she told me i had 20 minutes until closing...

Cheapkate 02-20-2013 04:38 AM

Whats weird is since the $1.50/2 M&M coupon beeped I figured the L2C would work, nope!

Haven't tried using it yet, but I notice the m&m coupon I have states on 9.9 oz or larger. Just wondering, what the size is on the holiday m&m's. Could it be too small to officially qualify?

Cheapkate 02-20-2013 05:01 AM

I bought 9,9 pretzel and 12.6 peanut.

Process in this order:

Ring up item - $19.99
Give coupon - ($10)
Give RiteAid card - ($10)
Net - (.01)

I would suspect that the L2C is still coded for the same set of M&Ms that don't include the Easter ones.

With the RA coupons that beep "requires .01 more" this doesn't work (or at least doesn't always). Usually if you do it this way the coupon will scan fine at first, but once your wellness card is scanned the coupon will get kicked out and you will end up paying for the product if you don't notice.

In general what you described works to allow overage in the sense that the cashier would not notice you are getting overage, but when the coupon is actually programmed to not allow overage it will get kicked out.

Good to know! I double-checked my receipt and the coupon did not get kicked out, but that may have been the exception. Thanks for the education.

Was anyone able to confirm that the RAQ doesn't beep if you buy just 2 shampoos?

I contacted RA through Email about this situation and got a call from the store manager that they can price modify the item and that I can come back today to get the item. She apologized (did not seem to mean it though and will probably glare at me if I go to her store since they seem like the gossiping type) but this store is farther away and I am not sure if it is worth the hassle.

Awhile ago, only certain colors of the Natural Instincts produced the ups. Has anyone done the deal this week on different colors and recieved the ups?
