Why are you breathing air? It causes cancer.

Do you drink water? Uh oh, cancer.

Holy crap, you are on the computer!!! Brain tumor imminent.

Sun...noooo you would never go into the sun am I right? Oh snap, lack of sunlight causes other conditions that lead to cancer...

Well damn.

Guess your options are to:

1. Be sane and make personal choices about what you decide to eat.

2. Kill yourself and beat cancer to the punch

See how neither of those involve spouting nonsense at other people and criticizing their choices?

The only thing that will conclusively beyond a shadow of a doubt give you cancer is exposure to certain types and strengths of radiation.

Everything else is negligible or negotiable. Run along chicken little.

If you are going to be stupid you should be entertaining. You have mastered half of the mission. You need to step it up in the entertaining arena.

Apparently, Kellogg's only stuffs us (the US) with their GM mixtures--GM ingredients are not used for their products in the EU (same with the Australian market).

Ross1987 02-02-2013 10:28 AM

OOS (and link doesn't work right anymore)

job48 02-02-2013 12:13 PM

I was able to place an order, minimum $25 for FSSS, that will ship when they get back in stock. It is a decent price, worth waiting for. Thanks OP, TU & Repped.

Some humorous reading along the way too. ONLY AT SLICKDEALS.

KingVizio 02-02-2013 12:15 PM

My local Kroger has them for $1.49 last week and this week

flahavin 02-02-2013 12:27 PM

Good Deal!

The Two Box pack at Sams Club is usually 5-6 bucks. Beyond all the GMO and the evil corporation comments, this is a good deal, even without the S&S discount. Just hopefully the order doesn't get cancelled.

I have a list of orders that haven't been fulfilled yet...but atleast they haven't been cancelled yet.

Ingredients [cheerios.com]:
Whole grain oats (includes the oat bran), modified corn starch, sugar, salt, tripotassium phosphate, wheat starch, vitamin E (mixed tocopherols) added to preserve freshness.

Looks like GMOs are banned in Europe [divinecaroline.com]. Sadly the U.S. loves to boast about its amazing technological advances, but when it comes to the food system, they are way behind. For example, Denmark was the first country to ban trans fat (back in 2003), yet trans fat is still prevalent in the U.S.

Both sides of this issue can get extreme. The food system has changed so much over the last 100 years and so has our health, so I don't blame anyone who wants to avoid controversial stuff like GMOs. I am one of those people who eats mainly natural, whole foods, and I don't think that makes me "better than the average Joe." We live in a country where education and wealth are closely correlated to health status, which means the food system has failed. Wholesome food should be available to everyone.

Sure there are other risks in life like driving a car and cell phones, but there is nothing quite so intimately related to your health than what you eat.

Awesome comebacks! I logged in just to rep you guys for turning around what was becoming a very annoying thread. Now it kicks butt - or butts, if you had too many Cheerios and grew a second.
