Ipad 2 16GB black + FS + $10 promo = $353 or less on Joinem.com

This is a new kind of deal, so go easy on dealsterino please ;)

Joinem is a social commerce site where the price goes lower as more people join the deal. After we join, stores submit their lowest offers.

Got in on an iPad Mini deal on joinem beta website last week. It was as low as $282 with free shipping. I also got and extra $10 off promo.. Received a tracking number within 48 hours. So far so good.

Here is the how it works page for joinem.

And the ipad 2 deal:

You MIGHT get a deal...

Ridiculous and misleading post

Hence YMMV in the title. My experience was a good one so I am sharing knowledge so others can benefit. Some people might appreciate hearing about new ways to score deals. That's what the web is all about :shake:

Then stop posting with misleading info

Your post implies you can go to this site and get it at this price......nd you dont even bother to explain how this works

Hence you are getting flamed

Oh ...and by YMMV....YOU have to have got some mileage in the first place or at least own a frickin car....

YOU did not get this deal....

I modified the title and added how joinem works. Also listed the price I got the ipad mini for (my mileage with joinem).

I would love to pick up the ipad 2 for my wife, so hope everyone who wants a new ipad for $286 will jump on this deal with me. I just want a great deal, not argue.

Lol you can't even see this "deal" without entering your email address so they can spam the hell out of you. From what I can see thru the fog of scam is a $380 best price.

Sorry op, but there's no deal here.

I beg to differ Baddogdaddy...56 people including myself got an iPad Mini on Join'em for $272 with free shipping.

Worst case scenario would have been $309, also cheaper than anywhere else. I am posting my receipt in hopes the community will benefit from this new deal site.

There have been hot deals DAILY on the site. Today there is an Apple TV that is $29 best case, $69 worst case (after the $10 new user promo + free shipping. Both better than anything else I have seen. I have joined this deal and hope others who want an Apple TV at a great price will do the same so we can drive the price down.

As per your attachment, they are charging tax..Once the deal is ended,it seems they are not revealing merchant's name and still in the receipt also they are not revealing. Some sites like Amazon,eBay are not charging sales tax, whereas walmart does.
How would they collect sales tax without revealing the merchant name?.I know it would be still the lower price, even after charging sales tax,but the winning merchant should be displayed at least to the consumers who bought the deal..

Somewhere on their site I read they charge tax in NY and TX. I'm in TX so lucky me :D

Nice deal on Apple Airport today at $47-$56. Thanks for making me look
