Thanks!! Just picked one up for $59 at the HomeDepot nearest to 45140 (Cincinnati - Fields Ertel/Mason Montgomery Rd area). Also picked up a DA250b-p 15ga finish nailer for a PENNY!!! (looks like it was a BF special buy and they clearanced them out for $47... though it rang up as $.01). Amazon claims they are $230ish and they get great reviews. 4reps for you and two huge thumbs up!!!
PS they had 6 left when I was there at 11am today. |

Got one. Thanks OP.
I couldn't find the nailer either. The sku wasn't even in their system. |
that nailer is ancient and the rest of its kind were probably clearanced years ago. looks like they found some stashed away and you got lucky
Got the last one. Thanks
Use the web link, then check store inventory. In and around Chicago, there's quite a few. Be creative if the closest one is not that close. Also, don't rely on inventory to be perfect (that works both directions!) Went to Northlake, IL (close to work). They showed 1 in stock; they had at least two.
Endcap for Northlake, and about 2 aisles over. I had almost given up. THANKS AGAIN OP! TU and repped! Decent compressor for a little one. |
Found one in the Glen Burnie, MD store even though inventory checker showed none in stock. Went in to buy something else and found the apparent last one amongst the other compressors. Thanks for the heads up OP.

$49 at my local HD

Their web site showed one left at my local HD. I went to the store and found an end cap with three Porter Cable compressor models displayed. They had one of the 3.5 gallon units left. It showed $49, and that is what it rang up for.
Home depot website now even shows it for $59
Just got one for $49 in Columbia, SC. (Sandhills HD) It showed for $49 on line. There are 8 left.
$49 dollars online now, shipped. Also there are a number in stores in the Twin Cities, MN
Yep, I just ordered one online for $49 w/ free shipping to the house. +1 for letting me be lazy and not have to drive to the store. Thanks OP
Thanks OP. Ordered one for $49 for instore pickup
Thanks I was looking for a compressor. Not expecting too much, but if it lasts me a few years, it was worth it. Two left in Woodbridge, VA. Look up.
Can I build a fence with this or will it not have enough power?

Bought this online for 49 bucks and then got a call back from HD that it was not in stock :(
Does anyone have a screen shot for the $49 price. I would like to get a price adjustment.
Got one in store pickup for 49.99. Great deal! Of course it was the only one in my area. Good luck!
Got one at HD in Mission Viejo, CA for $49 Thanks OP

did you have it shipped, or in store pick up? |
FYI I got a cheapo 1/3 hp harbor freight compact compressor and will run my brad nailer without issue. Just installed crown molding in my bedroom. I would rather have something like this or stronger though because it would refill quicker and also be stronger for pumping up tires/ect but if you don't have one of these, these are great!

Here you go, I saved the screen shot to make sure they honor the price adjustment when they told me to order it online and check out at regular price because their site was glitchy. |

Denver area now has it for $39. Only store that has it though is 1526, the Glendale one off s Colorado. Should be 8 left as of this post
Grabbed the last $59 Porter- Cable compressor at the Frederick, MD (Rt. 40 store)...
Liking the Frederick, Md Home Depot's this month...extension cords, compressor...What's next? |
Thanks, OP. This is exactly what I was looking for. Did a search for compressors and you deal popped up. Bought three for $39 in the Cleburne, TX store (about 30-40 mins away from me). They had about eight in stock after I left. Might be the only store in the DFW area that still has them in stock. Funny, I saw them in the store for $79 and I debated getting it. Now, I got two for that price!
Just scored last one Danville,Va $39.00, so they're still out there. O btw it didn't show up on inventory check or store search :bounce:
Scored in Central Islip, NY today. $39 each, got the last 2. Stock search said they only had 1.
I just got home with mine. Picked one up for $39.00 in Gilroy CA, there were 5 left in over head rack, none on floor. I asked about the nail gun using the SKU, I was told it's not a valid SKU.
thanks OP...Hurry 2 to 3 left at Santa Clara store :woot: p/u 2 for $ 69 w/ apply HF 20% off :D
Man I wish I could have hit this deal! This is light enough to fill and carry and unlike my current portable compressor it has enough power to actually consider doing work with it.
So in 10 days, will this drop to $19.00?

Scored the last one at Lake Mary FL store. It was on the end cap behind a bunch of the $169 6 gallon units. The tag on it said $99 but I had the guy scan it with the pricing gun and sure enough it came up at 39. I already have a Goodyear rubber hose in my inventory so I just need the get a finish mailer gun. Any suggestions? I need to shoot brads through 3/8 oak boards.

Used the compressor to power my brad nailer to build a cat tree. Its my MIL's cat: both are living with me now. The compressor worked great. It maintained good pressure without a lot of cycling. I have a full size compressor but it is a beast and hard to move. This thing is going to come in handy.
BTW, it appears to be the same motor diving this compressor as the PC 6 gal compressor. The only difference is the tank size and air outlets (the 6 gal has two vs one for the 3 gal). |
Will this compressor power something like this which requires 100 psi or will I have to wait until it recharges?
http://www.homedepot.com/webapp/w...=100000561 Anyone have a good deal for an air hose. Hoping to run it with this: http://www.amazon.com/Campbell-Ha...B0007ZJ1IK |

Can anyone recommend a good accessory kit for this?
i just picked up a cheap $12 HF one for the time being...im really only going to be using this for tires and blowing stuff out for the time being, so the HF kit has worked good for that so far.
Me too....$ 20 from HF 25 ft hose & 17 pc accessory :woot:
I bought one, 2 left at the Racine, WI store. #4926

That hose is junk, won't last very long,If your gonna buy a hose at HF get the black rubber hoses in 25 or 50 ft lengths or the red rubber hose, the plastic and pvc ones will crack in winter weather and minor usage and those tools that come in the kit are junk, get a seperate fiting kit w/brass fittings as well, those aluminum ones are junk and the steel ones wil rust too, always remember to let the water drain out of the compressor after usage as well to keep it from rusting from the inside out ,just my humble opinion after 30+ yrs of compressor usage:) ,http://www.harborfreight.com/5-pi...68237.html , http://www.harborfreight.com/100-...69579.html , http://www.harborfreight.com/50-f...69479.html , http://www.harborfreight.com/1-4-...97447.html , http://www.harborfreight.com/100-...30268.html

Got one in the Eden Prairie Store in MN for $39. Online tracker said it was sold out everywhere, however they still had a couple in stock.
Picked mine up in Glendale, AZ for $39 but did not bite on the 2 year replacement warranty which was $7. Found a nice 72 piece air tool kit on CL tonight and will be picking it up tomorrow morning. Repped.
I came here for syrup jokes...I guess SD has matured.
Good deal though! |
I ordered it at the $99 for instore pickup assuming I'd argue the price when I got there. I just printed out my online order confirmation and see that they only charged me $39! SWEET!
I bought the 17 pieces accessories set, but have some leak when using the accessories. Does the seal tape will help?
Thanks. |
yes, you always need to use the PTFE tape at every connection when working with air connections. you might even get a small leak if you leave the hose connected, so i always disconnect when not in use.
Why would anyone want to compress pancakes? More goodness in each bite maybe? I like mine nice and fluffy.
Have had this since Christmas and I really like it. Same performance as the handful of 6 gallon pancakes I've used in the past but is a little lighter and easier to move around (physically smaller).
