Fallout New Vegas is WELL WORTH IT.

Add the Project Nevada Mod + Weapons Expanded Mod + Increased Wasteland Spawns Mod.

Game. Is. Awesome.

That's what I bought, I'll definitely check out those mods though when my copy arrives. Thanks.

Played New Vegas on 360 and loved it. It might hit $7.50 on a future Steam sale but nice to save some bandwidth on the boxed copy.

FYI, its DoW2 GE not the first Dawn of War game.

Steam had it for $9.99 during the Summer sale 7/16-7/23, but the last four sales since were $22.49, $14.99, $17.99, and $19.99 (Xmas sale).

Amazon, Greenman, and Newegg have been beating most Steam sales for over a year now.

Make sure you use Fallout Mod Manager and follow the directions for Project Nevada and integrating patches for Weapons Mod Expanded.

I also installed a lot of their optional stuff.

The Mod Configuration Menu is also a must. http://newvegas.nexusmods.com/mods/42507

While Project Nevada comes with it built in, Weapons Mod Expanded and Increased Wasteland Spawns do not. By having it in your load sequence you can change settings for IWS in-game.

This is very helpful because I maxed the settings out and learned that going up against 50+ geckos in a single group on Very Hard difficulty is pretty much like getting hit in the crotch with a sledgehammer.

Did that Steam version for $7.50 come with all the expansions?

Lol! Thanks for the link man, I bookmarked that page so I know where to go when the game arrives. I played New Vegas on PS3 but I couldn't finish it because it was so damn buggy, I'm hoping the PC version gives me a better experience (plus mods are always a huge plus).

You will enjoy it. The mods make it 100x better which is why I always get games like this (including Skyrim) on PC.

Like I said, just follow the directions on the Project Nevada page on the Nexus Mods site.

PM me if you have issues.

In for New Vegas. Coupon's still working if anyone's curious.

Gambit16 02-06-2013 02:14 PM

It didn't even take Newegg / Shoprunner 1 day to deliver New Vegas to me (used Shoprunner's 2 day shippin). I was shocked when the UPS dude showed up this afternoon with the game.

What I meant was in the future Steam "might" sell New Vegas Ultimate for around $8 bucks but this was a good enough deal to just buy now even with a backlog.

I just used the code for $15 off Doom 3 BFG and it still works. Thanks!
